Since you're unsure about Jason I wouldn't get him, seems like an impulse purchase if anything
Ironman revos.... II and III are the same but with different paint jobs, and if you already have a decent looking ironman figure that you like better don't get it. If it turns out you don't and you want a definitive Ironman, decide which color you like better, think a bit on this. Mr. Incredible is cool, and is from a cool movie, but do you actually want a pixar guy on your shelf? Are you really that much of a fan of their movies to warrant that choice? |

Without quoting anyone, I will say that I appreciated the culmination of toy collectors on here in the past, but this site has been a cancerous mole on my abdomen lately. Figuratively, of course............... Can't nerds just communicate and share shit? What the fuck has this site become?
I know what it is and you know what it is. This means we're going to continue to get an influx of members...some as great as the few that stuck with us from the beginning, and some who are as foul as rancid milk. We simply have to try to make the best of it and keep going on, or quit and take the light we brought with us. SYMBIOTE I've found that I never regretted building the kits, but I've always regretted buying them. I never painted or sanded them, so they were always plain, and it reminded me of all my unfinished projects. So I believe if you're willing to put some serious time in to build them, as well as paint and sand...go for it. Edit: I've just read your previous response...you don't need to thank me, heh heh! I'm here to help! Thanks for the kind words my friend! Last edited by yourfacehere; 04-20-2012 at 12:14 AM.. |

I'd say model kits because they can take a lot of your time and just get your mind off things. Help you relax, or completely rage. Also I cannot discuss peoples banning/leaving toyark in public in fear of being banned myself. But as it goes, I am caring less and less these days.

all this old school vs new school chatter is way off topic and not necessarily serving the best interest of the OP's impetus.
i know everyone wants to be heard and online forums are like open mic night at your local dive, but come on guys... i'm sure Symbiote appreciates the traffic on his new thread, but i know underneath it all he'd like for the TOPIC to take precedence. |

Fine then I'll quote you. Our little hole in the wall forum is growing, mostly due in part to that which brought us here.

It only takes ten exclusives with money you don't have to get there. The japanese toy market is a cruel mistress indeed. This is why I always try to think rationally and carefully about every future purchase. Tamashii web has shown that with my gundams. I have to buy sparingly and*think very carefully if I'm going to keep it long term, and if I'm going to enjoy it years from now. One in particular has lost it's veneer. Do you guys have any experience with d arts? What is the quality of their releases, specifically megaman. |

Robot damashii=figuarts=d-arts=figma At least in pricing, so it's best to concentrate and pick what you really like, and not what you sort of like, but are unsure of getting. You'll be fine man! Tiberius, thanks for the info, I've heard similar but I've also heard horror stories. |

I recently made the mistake of buying figuarts myself. The DBZ line is just to amazing. But yeah D-arts and Figuarts are literally one in the same.

But to anyone in doubt of Japanese stuff like figuarts. You won't ever regret it. Just be ready to drop stacks.

Yeah the thing with the japanese stuff is they're price but if you ever want to get rid of them. You can easily make your money back.
So I was thinking about getting this bad boy ZERO But I'd want a megaman to go with it. But full armor and sdcc just look meh to me. And lord know im not paying for and original release x. thoughts?
