Yes you should, like they say will only go up in value, open or MOC.

Move too...VANCOUVER ISLAND? Bwahaha. That is rather sad to hear though, and I hope it isn't some negative nancies around here did that to ya. I come here for certain members and threads. Sadly, 3 of those members are gone over silly things [keep in touch with 2 of the 3] and all the "oldschool regulars" are just vanishing then I would be here left alone to rule and conquer! I am however getting into model kits though, like this:
Haven't pulled the trigger yet, should I?!?! Quote:

Aye got lucky with a damashii purchase "scored" an exclusive for close to 85$ , bastards sold recently for 105$ That gives you an idea of how quickly their prices soar. I love using it as an example of their insane price climbs, though.
Then there's the Galahad, thing started at 90$ it's not 330$ it's giant, but not near worth that much. Symbiote, which gundam is 25$ is it a damashii? We didn't see one for $25 shipped, we are looking for one $25 shipped, a kit though, not something prebuilt |

Yeah the thing with the japanese stuff is they're price but if you ever want to get rid of them. You can easily make your money back.
So I was thinking about getting this bad boy ZERO But I'd want a megaman to go with it. But full armor and sdcc just look meh to me. And lord know im not paying for and original release x. thoughts? They have him relatively cheap still, and they are great people. |

I want to buy a few Transformers Prime figures (no, I still haven't seen Soundwave) as they are on sale this week but I can't decide which Bumblebee to get (First edition or Robots in Disguise). Any suggestions?

Now I can wholeheartedly recommend Cyberverse Commander Class Megatron, Bulkhead, Optimus, and Starscream. They are only 9-10 bucks each and just incredible figures! Cyberverse Legends Class (now called Legion) has a really nice Arcee, Cliffjumper, and Vehicon. Good to fiddle with on the desk. The next waves should be showing up and if so grab deluxe/revealer Vehicon for sure, what an impressive looking figure (I say impressive looking because I don't have him in hand, but will troop build him). |

Target has their own $4 off coupon that expire tomorrow. I have an extra SW PM if interested. You can still get the wave 1-2 currently, and 3 is on it's way out very soon. |

As for me:
Marvel Legends Dragon Man, loose/complete and as mint as you can get for a loose figure. Well over $200, but I can make a few installments layaway style. So I ask, should I get it? Even though I most likely will....... |

Your pretty limited now, the First Edition BB is probably long gone, The RID (regular) BB is meh to me. If you insist on BB then grab it, you may like it. I recommend Ratchet, Wheeljack, Arcee, and Cliffjumper for the "deluxe/revealer" class. Soundwave is good, but for some reason I'm not fully into him... with Ratchet easily the best.
The local TRU has like 20 of the first edition Bumblebee figures still and he looks like the better of the two but I wasn't sure as they are so similar. Cliffjumper and Wheeljack I already picked up today but those and the two Bumblebee figures are all they have outside of the Voyager and multpacks.

Aren't you one of our premier customizers? I'm surprised you haven't made one that surpassed this already! |

Truthfully, I'm not really even into the Fantastic Four, but something just draws me to that figure, for a couple years now. I think I'll buy it, then when the thrill is gone I'll sell it off. Seems to hold value. I would like to make a MU scaled one, even started scoping out parts (Thinking SpiderMan 3.75 Rhino, a random "how to train your dragon figure for the wings tail, toy architectural gargoyle for the head, etc...) |

All of the First Edition toys are pretty spectacular, really. Starscream is a must, unless you'd prefer to wait for the larger Voyager version. |

I agree with you there, glad I snatched those up asap on Ebay when they announced the cancellation of the entire line, would have preferred retail, but I passed Arcee, BB and SW when I saw them first

That settles it then, I'll pick up the First Edition one. I thought it looked better but since the RID one is newer I thought maybe it was improved somehow.

It also seems you've liked it for quite some time, so it's not a bad idea. Do you think if you waited a cheaper one, or an auction, would come around? |

Saw the Marvel Knights motion comics at Wal-Mart earlier in the week for like 5 bucks a piece. So to you my fellow Arkers I ask are they any good?

I didn't like any of them. Not saying the story was bad I just couldn't get past the animation.

I saw part of the Astonishing X-Men thing on Youtube a while back. I don't remember much but it wasn't great but it wasn't terrible and I loved the comics. Too bad they didn't just use normal animation for a movie like the DC animated movies. I guess it'll depend on my mood when I go back up there.

I've seen the free deadspace animated comics, I didn't hate them at all. I liked the fact that they voiced over characters. So I guess if they do that and you like it go for it. But I'd see if they get any cheaper. Hide them under a shelving unit.
