Got these at a local Ross.
If anybody wants the Mega Bloks Master Chief let me know. I'll ship it out for $2 bucks. Only needed the display for my Minimates figures. And picked this up for a fellow Arker. They had like 5 last week but all but one were gone, I'm sorry to say.

I haven't had a chance to play it, yet, but it's actually rather rare, and if this was new(if we were in 1980), my mom wouldn't allow me to get it. Top 12 Weirdest Atari 2600 Games

Besides, I've seen Hasbro attempt to improve the skis-for-feet design before and they haven't been very successful (DOTM Whirl can barely stand unless you really tighten up his ball-joint ankles). Quote:
G1 whirls legs looked great and worked perfectly with the figure.. these however, completely suck.
Quote:
like i said, if you leave them in the intended position they look awful and don't work well, and if you spin them around, they still look awful and don't work well. the only vast improvement is that the legs have a knee joint.. other than that, there are zero improvements.
Quote:
but, they decided they wanted to go with more comic style legs.. which they COMPLETELY failed at.. rather than giving him the movie starscream raptor type legs, they simply articulated the knees the wrong way and figured that'd be good enough.. well, it's not. this is a terrible compromise of source materials.
Around two inches or so - which is standard size for a Mega Bloks minifig, really. It's the same basic design (structurally) that's been in most of their Halo sets to-date.

I'm not sure why I snagged this Spidey I didn't like the "Big Time" story arc, and he's just going to serve as a glaring reminder that I never found Future Foundation Spidey, lol !
I'm not a huge fan of either of the Beast Hunters Voyager Optimus Primes, but the newer one isn't quite as bad as the first, and it was hard to turn down a Voyager at a price lower than the price of the Deluxe Class Transformers. This guy has been scarce in my area, so I was shocked to see him at Ross. I stopped at a cool local record shop that usually keeps a few toys mixed in with the stacks and stacks of vinyl, and I was floored to find this McFarlane Edward Scissorhands. I was almost as excited to find this Wolfsbane. She's from the Marvel Collector Edition series, and at this rate, she's probably the closest I'll ever get to a Marvel Legends Wolfsbane Finally, after deciding to endure Hot Topic for a little while in order to pick up a couple of Doctor Who T-shirts, I found this X-Men bag. I LOVED this Jim Lee group shot when I was a kid. It's just such an amazingly definitive depiction of the early 90's-era X-Men. Oh yeah, the opposite side is Jim Lee's companion piece, featuring a lot of the X-Men's 90's-era nemeses. Also, I am SOOO excited about my Loyal Subjects Soundwave ! I love the idea of vinyl figures, but I haven't begun collecting them because I hate the high prices and the annoying blind boxes. However, these Transformers vinyl figures are so cool, I decided to pick one up and hope for the best. I happened to get really lucky and get one of the two at the very top of my wishlist. This guy is great, and I want more of these Loyal Subjects figures, but I'm dreading paying $12.50 each, and running the risk of getting stuck with (possible multiples of) Thundercracker. I hope to pick up one of those Loyal Subjects Soundwaves as well, but I will probably just buy it off Amazon or Ebay, rather than deal with the blind boxes. I already get enough of that with Lego Minifigs.

Great hauls as of late everyone, especially all of the sick hauls coming from Ross. I haven't been to Ross in about 4 or 5 months, something is telling me I should start checking in every now and again! The weekend can't come soon enough!
I did have a friend who flew in from out of town, so I got to take a trip up to neighboring Phoenix recently, and was able to find some goodies while I was up there. I've always been a fan of Hasbro's kiddie lines (SuperHero Squad, Galactic Heroes ect.) so I was stoked to finally run into this at TRU after a long search of yielding nothing but Naboo Speeders and Vader TIE Fighters... While there...I also ran into the Black Series Obi Wan (who is a terrific figure, and was way better than what I was expecting.) and I finally found the Armored White Ranger! I also ran into this lovely lady... Who in turn helped me to finally finish this little guy... I've also been on a Kre-o kick (I can't wait for the Terror Drome!) and while in Phoenix, I picked these up wherever I could find them, finding nearly every fig I was looking for, (Tomax, Scrap Iron, NightCreeper, Lady Jaye, and a loose Snake Eyes!) Just gotta track down Low Light! I was also able to finally find some of the Transformers Customs...at $5.99 they're a pretty sweet deal! I picked up some loose Joes to round out the trip, as well as Blind Master. I also found Blind Master at TRU, sitting on a peg with Jinx, Ultimate Firefly and Joe Colton. Sadly, no Night Viper, but that's alright, as he's being re-released anyway with the 50th anniversary line coming up in what I feel is a cooler looking camo scheme. With that said, keep an eye on the pegs at TRU guys if you're still looking for wave 3.5! |

Yeah, he turned out to be a really fun toy! His design and transformation process are much simpler than most Transformers have been in the past 7 or 8 years, and in that sense, he reminds me of the Armada and Energon stuff that I used to have. I'm all for elaborate transformations and designs, but in this situation, the simple design worked quite well.
