I'm a bit of an old school guy. I like the hunt of finding a figure. Clicking a button is lame. So over the last 20 years or so I've found some good stuff(and probably spent hundreds on gas), but in the last 10 years practically nothing good. So I'm bumping around, hit Ross in daytime(found Hope and Klaw earlier in week), nothing this time, hit another Ross later last night nothing, roll into TJ maxx around 8:30 and BAM I see these guys(Punisher & Hawkeye) after looking around for a min or two. I couldn't believe it. Not only are they ML they are good characters. This is the first time in a long time that my energy spiked (aka wood)over finding a couple figures. I never really collected ML cause they were never in stock, anywhere over the years. I then later hit up a third Ross and found the Steve Rogers. Gonna try and hit some more stores today. I know it may be lame for some of of you but this is fun again for me.
Nice to see success stories like this once in a while.

Gonna try to raid all the local Ross' and TJ Maxx tomorrow before work. All I saw 2 weeks ago in San Diego was Ultrons and now they're gone. A random Hope Summers once in a while. And Drax...Drax' EVERYWHERE !!!
I get sad when I think of all the wasted plastic and manual labor Hasbro put into Iron Man Assemblers. Freaking things have been hogging up the shelves at every Ross since Black Friday.

Is Drax usable for any customs? At $7 each, it's a good price to stock up on him

Maybe a little small but maybe you could make an Absorbing Man using Drax. I know if I see him for that price I probably will. Crossing my fingers to find an unmasked Dark Wolverine and an Archangel at these discount stores so far just Madame Masque and Thunderball.

All I could find at Ross/TJ Maxx today. Legends were $8, MU sets were $10. I want the white FF set but all I ever see it blue suits. They had Klaw too but it looked awful so I passed.
These I'm keeping. This one I'd be willing to trade. I saw a guy on another forum found a Future Foundation Spidey a few days ago at Ross...so pissed. I never even saw that figure in a single store by me.

I've been hoping to score a Wrecker and Black Panther from one of the discount stores, but I've only seen BT Spidey, Daken, and Bucky Cap. A new TJ Maxx is opening down the street from my place in about a week, so I guess I'll be waiting outside, with all the thrifty housewives, for the doors to open, in an attempt to finish my Rocket Raccoon, lol !

Ummmm, if this is poor etiquette, I apologize in advance, but I just started a new thread in the B/S/T area, and nearly everything I'm offering is a Marvel Legend (or Toy Biz Marvel "Classic"). I'm doing my "spring cleaning" and hoping to trade for some figures I've been wanting for a while.
Here's the link: http://www.toyark.com/face-tiger-you...-trade-160251/ Again, if this is not allowed here, or is frowned upon, I sincerely apologize. But you know what they say about asking for forgiveness as opposed to asking for permission, lol Last edited by Frank Richards; 04-20-2014 at 01:10 AM.. |

Finally completed Mandroid. Thanks to Darkjokerzin on Instagram for reaching out and helping me finish it. If you're reading this, buddy...thank you so much!
It's huge. I hope I can build another one in the near future. There's something about giant comic book robot figures that I can't get enough of.

Rocket and Nova sold out again on Amazon pre-orders. Seems like those two are the only ones that might be a PITA to find when they hit retail.
I was going to pre-order another Rocket right now so I could paint one in the comic Marvel Now suit but I guess I don't mind hunting that one down later on or when the hype dies down.
