Rumor says that Howard the Duck will cameo in GotG, my only fond memory of Howard was when in a crossover event Ash (Ashley J Williams from Evil Dead series, played by Bruce Campbell) cuts him in half with his chainsaw hand. Thinking on that, what are some cool characters that you would like to see as figures who either guest starred in Marvel, or maybe belonged to Marvel at some point in the past. Noting of course that these toys would never get made by Hasbro (licensing rights and all), but it's cool to think about. I say: Ash and Conan the barbarian.
does this count i think a stan lee fig would be kinda cool

Yeah Stan the man counts, he's made cameos and made a lot of characters, so why not. And Jack Kirby, the unsung god of Marvel, they even drew the one above all (or the fulcrum, or whatever they call it) based on Jack Kirby's likeness.

I wouldn't mind a stan lee (almost in all movies and mattel made one), zombies, monsters (Dracula, Frankenstein etc). Alternate universe figs would be great since we got an AOA nightcrawler and some squadron supreme members... Not sure how well the whizzer would sell though.

Started working on a display piece to better manage my space. I'll probably make it look like a part of Avengers mansion or maybe Xavier's, not the best custom diorama, but it should look good enough and help display my collection a little better.

For those not on the War Machine as Iron Patriot train...
Keep in mind one thing! It will eventually spin off into a new female hero either taking over the armor or she'll be called Iron Patri-ette. They've been hinting at it since issue 1 that his niece could be as much of a tinkerer as Tony Stark was as a kid. Yes, "Iron Patri-ette" was a joke and I'm only guessing on the she'll take over eventually, but it seems too perfect to not do something with that since Marvel has been looking to diversify their ranks. This does open up the iron guard more almost into their own Avengers even. Now we've got: Ironman War Machine Rescue Iron Patriot Two to three more and we've got an Iron Avengers team. xD Now Hasbro better start cracking on making figures! |

Does anyone owning a Mandroid BAF from Cap Movie 6" set could take a pic near some MU/MI, I'd like to have an idea of the proportions before buying one for a Shield display.
Thanks!

it is perfect for MU S.H.I.E.L.D. Gregoire
MU figures come to about crotch level (gigitty) and at least in my opinion, scale better than ML do. Perfect oversized mech...... there are pics out there of them, I dont any of the BAF figures yet, but they are VERY nice in our scale mate.

I saw that at my local TRU, it's relatively good in scale (around 4 or 5 inches), my local TRU had at least twenty or so of that one. I suppose if all you're looking for is a filler figure, just to look the part, then Branch Bash Groot works well enough. Someone here on the forums has one and can give a better idea of scale.

yes... the "squeeze leg" one.... it is called BRANCH BASH GROOT he is part of the GALACTIC BATTLERS line.... TRU has him on offer right now, marked down from $9.99 to $7.49 ( google image to see the box *MW559* )
He works well as a stand in.... if you want the next level, I suggest toyark member THE MISSING LINK's recipe. Simple and effective.... BRANCH BASH GROOT MARVEL LEGENDS PATRIOT ( not Iron Patriot, but the guy with a shield and white trousers) 1. head swap 2. remove forearms and calves 3. cut Groot's limbs in same place 4. replace, glue and paint to match Starlord and Rocket Raccoon
