I'm really excited and a bit nervous for what we might see of the next few days reveals at SDCC. I'm really going to be a deciding point if I'm going to be continuing to collect much in the future or not. The first wave of MI was amazing and the second and third were good despite a few left of field choices. GoTG 4th wave the less said the better. What are the (presumably) last two waves for 2014 going to bring - as well as early 2015?
Will this line be a few decent initial waves and then the same ole same ole or will it really be a viable revitalization of the collector's heart? |

I hope I don't. I really don't want to. But at the very least right from the start I could say "At least I got Wasp!" she was my most wanted at the time MU ended.
But even if I do stop collecting full on I'll probably still be curious to what's releasing. It's kind of like an addiction. And besides, they WILL release that Emma figure at some point. Edit - wrong quote! I'll just take it from scratch without the quote this time! |

Pinned so they can rotate with the joints hidden with green stuff, that was a w.i.p pic before shading and final paint

Going to try to finish up a few more bits but the heat makes it hard to paint.

it is what was in Wal-Mart's computer.... it concerns Marvel figures.
Perhaps the new wave(s)of MI, we not sure yet. More than likely the figure list of wave 5 and 6 to round out the year. the "variants" have different codes so not true variants but more like some of the more recent ones from MU where they are packed in the same case maybe.

Interesting projective line up. I can see that being fairly feasible though. Even if no Northstar or Emma Frost ( ). Bishop would be the only figure in my top 10...top 20...top 30...okay this gets worse for me the more I look at it. Though I'd get a classic Beast figure with only Black Cat and Bishop in my top 50 most wanted figures being made, it does leave me a little sullen. But well, it's a fairly marketable wave.
Most of the figures I want I don't really see getting made anyways. |

I am very please with the prospects. My only gripe is that I have already made the majority of these as customs...
My good friend Cytorak's Cousin always said "Be careful, by the time hasbro gets around to making them, your version will be better." I have already made, "Blue" Beast, Sandman, Black Cat, and Bishop. I would gladly take a bunch of Daredevils for cheap if that is the figure that gets the discount treatment like all the other repacks have. |

The only other thing I would add to that prospective list, is if it's covering two waves instead of one we should probably expect another female figure. They have been pretty good about releasing one female figure per wave for a while now. I've heard rumors of Tigra but also there's that Emma to consider (which I would prefer)
Of course, I'd rather that just be one wave. and there be another whole wave to reveal! |
