I've seen those MH dolls, as well as the new Sports Series (Spectra, Clawdeen, and Toralei) ones at both Target and TRU. I've actually run into the Toralei dolls a few times for both of those series, which is amazing, considering she is usually one of the hardest ones to find.

I finally ran into the cosplay/larp TMNT wave at Walmart today. No signs of Donnie or Leo, but I did manage to find Raph and Mikey. Sadly, no sign of Tigerclaw anywhere, but hopefully he's out there somewhere!
While on the TMNT subject, I also ran into the Raph and Leo evolution packs at Target. I'm guessing these are the first two to come out. Hopefully there will be a second wave with Donnie and Mikey. I also saw the TMNT four pack which contains all four turtles, and the Target exclusive Turtle Assault Van w/ Leonardo...but was unable to snag any photos of them. To those wondering, the only benefit to the four pack is that they are slightly cheaper than if you were to pick up the four turtles separately. Otherwise, they are the same exact figures.... And with the World Cup finally over, I ran into the Ghoul Sports Toralei today at K-Mart on the way home. While I'm not a huge fan of fashion dolls, my GF digs MH, and even I had to admit that this one was pretty cute. With the NFL season coming up soon, I might end up picking this one up in the future just to throw my mini Bengals jersey on her! (Those shorts are dangerously high though! Yikes!) |

Ran into the second half of the LARP Turtles at Walmart tonight. I actually liked these much better than the Raph and Mikey, but I'm trying to keep my TMNT collection from exploding. The amount of figures I had from the original wave was disgusting, everything from Fireman Donnie to Baseball Raph. Just sticking with characters that are being referenced from the original cartoon/comic series this go around. Still...Leo and Donnie were pretty cool looking, especially Leo. Still no Tigerclaw!!!! DAMN!!!

If they're doing figures from one-off appearances then I want a Mikey in aviator shades with a talking pizza tied up to a chair. "Bad Cop" Mikey bitchslapping a talking pizza tied up to a chair may have been one of the dumbest most hilarious things I've ever seen.

I'm sure he'll be an accessory with someone (probably Mikey) down the line.

It's still a hard decision whether to buy this or not. |

I still have yet to see one in stores. Getting it or not depends on whether or not you want a silver stripe on the helmet. I'm waiting for that version from the TRU Legacy figs since I have so many other versions of Tommy.

Quick question: how does "Super Megaforce" works in the US?
In Japan, they had the power to call upon all the previous (40+ years ago) to help them, but since US only had Zyuranger, I was wondering if you had unknown old sentais appearing in the show as well, or just the ones that have been aired in the US?

A few of them look to be showing up but I think "Super Megaforce" is only like 20 episodes and Gokaiger was like 50. Plus Super Megaforce is using stuff from the previous sentai series as well. They barely have room to used the power change thing so only a few non-US are likely to be used (I think it's 2 so far).

Oh I see! Thanks for the answers!
And do they have the former actors/actress showing up as well? In Japan it was a real nostalgia galore

All kinds of stuff hit the shelves this week.
Toys R Us had almost all the new Exclusives out. I think I like these better than the cartoon ones. They came out great. Would be a nice set if I had not already had the figures. Only set I did not see was the "Battle at the Docks" I did not realize these MMPR figures were so small. I was wanting 6 inch. |

Random stuff seen this week
Total Heroes Lex Luthor 3 pack. They look fantastic, but I have no need for Classics Apes. I do hope that NECA starts to box all of their figures. It looks very nice. These new World of Nintendo figures are HUGE. Like around 6-7 inches tall. Pretty big for most Nintendo figures and only 15$ Would like to see the rest of the line. And some Miworld sets of a vending machine and photo booth. Little small for Marvel Legends but something in the 4-5 inch range would work with them. |
