Maybe but I'm honestly not a fan of cloth capes.

Arkham city is my favorite game, maybe cuz you could use batman beyonds suit (hoping they do a 4" batman beyond). Favorite movie suit is dark knight as he can turn his head which is probably needed to dodge bullets.
So NECA is making a 7" planet of the apes gorilla Luca, can't wait as this will be my 1/18th scale gorilla grodd. |

That's cool of you mate but I'm not in that big of a rush. I've still got a couple of spots to check.

Im starting to worry about Arkham Catwoman's scale, she kinda looks huge in most images.

A downgraded retail version would likely be half of that so they might wait. The Multiverse 89 Batman' s cape is great imo. Last edited by Specter; 07-26-2014 at 01:47 AM.. |

Harley looks to be slightly taller than AO Joker too. Doesn't bother me, it's just worth noting. |

I prefer 3.75" scale, but I've been ignoring these Multiverse figures because I was *sure* Hasbro would 1) get distribution together and 2) show some good MU/Infinite figures at SDCC. Turns out that Hasbro took a massive step back with their new stuff, I still can't find anything, and Mattel killed it with all these new Arkham figures. I never thought I'd say this, but I might jump ship - I even ran around and picked up all the stuff I've been ignoring (Freeze, Bane, Returns Penguin). Wish I'd picked up Azrael when I saw him.
Anyway. Count me in with hoping Mattel goes back and forth among properties. CW Arrow/Flash would support a wave (GA, Black Canary, Flash, Merlin, Deathstroke, Red Arrow. Bronze Tiger? Brother Blood?). Surely they'll do a Batman v Superman/Man of Steel wave next year, right? Cavill Superman/Batfleck/Wonder Woman/Zod/Aquaman/Cyborg/Lex Luthor? And one-offs can fill in with stuff like Ryan Reynolds GL, Jim Carrey Riddler, Nuclear Man from Superman IV (not really...). The mind boggles. |

I hated the movie, but would totally be down with an Arnold Freeze from Batman and Robin. I need a Returns suit Batman and wouldn't mind a Forever Panther suit. If they announced Arrow and Flash figures I'd be all in for this line. Cheaper, easier to store. We'll see.

Saw a TRU express that had the miltiverse figures for $16.49 each. Insane for a mass market 1/18th fogure. |

That's cool and wow TRU is messed up.
I'm not really familiar with the modern Azrael but back in the day he was a dude named John Paul Valley that replaced Bruce as Batman while he recovered from Bane breaking his back. He went nuts and Bruce ended up taking him down when he recovered. Good times. The modern guy is part of some secret society or something I think. He looks awesome though. I hope he shows up in Arkham Knight since his ominous warning intrigued the hell out of me. |

Releasing figures of older properties is cool but I hope they get to some of the newer movies. The new Wonder Woman looks fantastic I hope we get a decent one not the 5 POA crap like MOS that still peg warms on clearance.

The Man of Steel line weren't 5 POA. They weren't as good as the Injustice or Multiverse line but they were better than most of the crap Hasbro's been clogging shelves with lately.

There was a whole shelf in their display that looked to be all new figures in that line. Though instead of Evergreen or Power Attack, it's now Batman Unlimited to match the animated movie coming out later this year.

Yo!
Long time lurker, first-time poster. Like somebody said earlier, I haven’t been this pumped about toy reveals in a while. I’m a huge DC fan and pretty much only collect 3.75-4” figures, so this is all gravy. Can anyone confirm that the articulation on these new figs is the same as the previous Multiverse? I got Bane, Azrael, and Freeze from the first wave, and while I like them, the lack of a bicep swivel kills me. Any hope that Mattel actually listened to people and fixed this issue? Even if they didn’t I’m still probably going to get most of these since they look rad, but it would be nice if they just had a LITTLE more articulation. |

Welcome. It's hard to tell but it looks like some have the GI Joe elbow joint and some may have the bicep joint (at least Catwoman looks to have it anyway).

...Okay looked into it and my money's on it being similar to the JL: Trapped in Time movie. Last edited by snake5289; 07-26-2014 at 07:26 PM.. |

Speaking of the newly re-branded Unlimited line, that Batman Beyond is bought on sight. Man-Bat is a maybe. |

So yeah, I predict you'll be able to buy one in a store. But it will be packaged in a smaller, simpler, not as showy box; won't include a Batman figure; and will cost $89. People who buy it at SDCC will still have a unique collectible because of the bigger, fancier packaging and the Batman figure it comes with. Last edited by thewriteguy; 07-26-2014 at 07:55 PM.. |

I'm sure the Bat Tank or whatever that horrendous thing is will be on MattyCollector.com Online Store - Welcome after the show sometime.

Hopefully it's at least on par with it. Trapped in Time was actually really good, considering it was a remake of a Super Friends episode. I still need to buy the DVD, now that I think of it...
