The 2099 Spider-Man looks good, but I'm happy to have the MU version of him. |

Edit:I'm sorry for my negativity on this you guys. I just REALLY despise swaps especially when half the figures get cancelled. Last edited by Captain Nash; 07-25-2014 at 04:53 PM.. |

Honestly, I'm not TOO worried, since all of the swaps for Spider-Man 2 and Winter Soldier came out. I just wish the swap for Carol was Dark/Classic Ms. Marvel or Spectrum. You know, something that MAKES SENSE.

The idea that Disney (who probably never even bothers to interfere in marvel stuff, especially their comic based action figure licensing and approval processes) is holding back comic based x-men toys to somehow hurt fox's x-men movie franchise in order to somehow expedite the return of the movie rights (that are unrelated to the films' success or toy selling power as evidenced by both wolverine movies and x3, FC and DOFP) is the dumbest thing I've ever heard and makes zero business sense for all parties involved.
Any decisions on x-men toys and their availability is probably entirely based on Hasbro's confidence in the profitability of them with maybe MAYBE minor input from the marvel licensing team (that is also most likely completely independent from any high level Disney input.) As far as toy company conspiracy theories go, this is probably the best. Keep it up, internet. |

Ugh, I'm not happy about Scarlet Witch and Captain Marvel being possible swaps, but I guess it does get more figures out. *grumble grumble*
The Spider-man wave is shaping up pretty good. Mayday Parker is a surprising, amazing addition. |

fox needs to give back their film rights to marvel studios , i have no faith in the re-booted F4 ... X-men films are goodish ... although not as good as avengers

These are the latest pics on Toyark.

To me these are just going to be the VHTF Carnage and Black Cat that I could never find in stores even though I saw Arachne and Toxin plenty of times. I just wonder which of these figures comes with which BAF parts because I want King Thor more than Odin at the moment since I'm reading Jason Aaron's God of Thunder series and loving it. I'm guessing Scarlet Witch/Captain Marvel will be Odin/King Thor head and Iron Fist/Hawkeye will be Odin/King Thor arms.

I dont normally buy Marvel Legends. I prefer Universe/infinite due to price and collection size. That said, I do have some ML's, and I have a wishlist of some I want, specifically because they can work with MU/I(MODOK, Groot, Sentinel, Galactus, brood queen). I'm sure the ML fans here would appreciate these picks. So below are my top 4 Marvel Legends wants.
BAF Dormammu BAF Stature BAF Atlas Dragon Man

The Hasbro/Marvel panel from the 2014 San Diego Comic Con features Adam Biehl (Vice President, Global Marvel Line at Hasbro), Jesse Falcon (Director of Hardlines, Marvel), Dwight Stall (Senior Marvel Product Design Manager, Hasbro), Bobby Vella(sp) (Marvel Legends Designer) and Laura Gillwahl (Marketing).
We are bringing you live coverage of this panel as it happens so be sure to refresh your browser often over the course of the next hour. Going over SDCC exclusives. Super Hero Mashers launched this year. Kid focused. 2015 will see Logan and Skaar, Juggernaut and Whiplash. Variant Covers Styled and Photoed By Alex Kropinak. Avengers Marvel Legends Wave 1. Machine Man, Scarlet Witch, Captain Marvel, Odin The All Father is the Build-A-Figure & King Thor when using swappable parts. Wave 2: Spider-Woman, Hellcat and Thanos Build-A-Figure. Alex Maleev will do custom artwork for the packaging. Avengers movie Nick Fury, Maria Hill and Coulson Marvel Legends. Modern Gamora is coming 2016 and Captain Marvel (female) for 3.75" line. Marvel Legends Nova was one of the best selling figures they've had and already talking about a second wave of Guardians of the Galaxy figures. Infinite Series - Wave 1: Black Cat, Big Time Spider-Man, Bishop, Jim Lee Beast, Sandman, Swap Classic Grey Beats and all sand Sandman. Wave 2: Thunderstrike, Doc Ock, Juggernaut Colossus, Armored Daredevil, Vulture, Shanna and Nothstar More Marvel Legends: Star-Lord, Gamara Classic Look, Groot, Drax 5 pack coming next year. Not announcing where it will be sold. Marvel Legends Magik & Dormammu are coming, don't know when or where. Dwight would like to see Reevers Marvel Legends. ROM Marvel Legends is not possible. Bulldozer would have been in 2015 wave 1 but it would not have fit due to size with Odin but they are still working on getting it out. Made a hint it could end up being a Build-A-Figure for a future Marvel Legends wave this year. Some of the delays like with Hawkeye and Iron Fist has allowed them to go back and improve them. Iron Fist will have multiple kung-fu hands. Vehicles would be very tough for Marvel Legends. Jesse Falcon says he's glad they never released the one Toy Biz was working on because it would have been terrible. They might try and test higher price point IE larger figures since they haven't lost much in the way of sales from the $20 6" basic figures. Key characters they say that they will try to get more solid cases released to help fans the figures in demand in their hands. X-Men figures for Marvel Legends we probably wouldn't see until 2016 when X-Men: Apocalypse movie comes out. Panel Ends. |

No more X-Men legends until 2016. Not surprising but still On the other hand if that is when they release Magik that will be awesome.
However, if anyone from the ML team from Hasbro is reading this, don't you dare put out Reavers ML before Polaris gets a figure. Seriously. I think at that point I'll stop collecting from middle finger burnout. You KNOW she is wanted. |

JIm Lee Beast nice, hoping for Wolverine and Cyclops Jim Lee Style...maybe 2016..
Nice to hear bigger figures.....I hope they don't mean 30 buck for Iron Monger (BAF Version) and mean 16" Sentinel sized figures. Last edited by VashTS; 07-26-2014 at 05:20 PM.. |

The Jim Lee beast is in the 3.75" scale and Jim Lee Cyclops and Wolverine have already been produced in the past (in the case of Wolverine about a million times).
