Small and odd shaped? No sir! This beast here is what I was referring to: Star Wars Naboo Royal StarShip Huge Toy Rare Silver Ship Phantom Menace 3ft | eBay It's mahooooooosive! I liked the idea of being able to fit the whole team inside. Though for space purposes the one you linked to is a much better idea... |

It is 6:45am about to start a long day. Setting up at the Comic, Card and Toy Show in Leeds with OVERDRIVE TOYS. Hope it goes well!!! Never did a show like this from the other side.

On a side note.... the H.A.C.K.S. figures were FULLY funded for everything they offered!!!! More than $400 grand (before fees of coarse) they raised in total. I have an awesome guy who is letting me 'piggy-back' on his order and shipping to UK for me. If your interested in picking some up, they are a tenner a go for the blanks and I forget what the Greek line run, but cheap with the exchange rate! The more of us that buy the cheaper the shipping will be!! We have 3 weeks until they tally everything up so there is time!!!

I've got one of those huge Naboo ships if you're interested? It's missing the Droid fighter that came with it and I've still got the box. PM me if interested.

Yessss!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Everyone is really cool here and we always try our best to help each other in any way we can. there is section called B/S/T (buy sale trade) with a dedicated Marvel section. Most of the folks are American but they are (almost) always willing to send to UK as well. Buying and selling gets weird with their low dollar against the pound, but trades are always great!

I think the idea of army builders set on repack is great, wich is why we'll never get them

I predict possibly a wave 5 nearer Christmas but that'll be it for the rest of the year. The US stores (and UK) are only just getting Wave 1 and some wave 2 in so they'll need time to catch up.
Next year waves will be Avengers 2 themed so a new Iron Man or Cap and then BW, Hawkeye & Ultron repacks, hopefully a Vision. Hopefully we'll get a Fantastic Four wave for the new FF movie but who knows as it's not a Marvel Studios film. Maybe an Ant-Man wave (including some Avengers repacks). There will probably be a reduced articulation Avengers 2 line for the kids too, possibly 2" scale if the GOTG stuff sells well. On a different note, GOTG Legends figures are out now and showing up on Amazon. |

Got Blaze some of those 2" GotG figures today.... there were like 4or5 kids that got the ok to buy them.just while we were there! The guy stocking them up again said they are flying off the shelves!!! Looks like ALL the kids want GotG toys!!! When I did that toy and comic show last weekend that was THE hottest thing!!!! Also saw a Lego GotG advert.... and they have GotG flags flying at Subway.... I think.it is gonna smash it this summer!!!
I have a funny feeling 3.75" Avengers 2 figures may not see the light of day.... just because all the kids have Thor,Iron Man, Cap and Hulk figures and the tiny GotG are doing well.... I just see them coming up with something new for A2: AoU..... just my thoughts. We will see at NYTF in February for that. Wednesday is preview night for SDCC and we will see the MU/MI diorama pics for the first time!!!!

Ok I take all that back. Check out the awesome MU diorama at SDCC:
SDCC 2014 Day One Marvel Infinite Diorama Photo Blowout!! Love the reused Joe vehicles in it. And Marvellous News has shots of the new AI wave: Sandman Black Cat Beast Bishop Spidey with interchangeable heads and hands Hobgoblin(?) Guess I will be army building and making customs for the foreseeable future. I was wanting SHS Beast so much then a few weeks ago got him from our very own THE LONGEST YARD and then just the other day saw that MI Beast was coming out... I was secretly hoping it wasn't going to be very good to help justify my SHS Beast purchase....but this is just overkill. I am very surprised at the neww line up. Like Chitauri figures with knees and rocker ankles.
Any way... I have FINALLY got a way to upload photos to my imgur account!!! They won't be high quality yet, but I post a pic in here at least every other day. I think pics help others post and reply. I like when this particular thread is busy. Makes me proud as we are the only regional Marvel 3.75" thread out there on any site that is active at a daily (usually) rate. Post up ANY pics you have too.......

I also paid a fair price to get hold of a Showdown Beast quite recently so was bit disappointed when i just saw this new one. Looks nice, still more partial to the Showdown one at the mo tho. So happy about Bishop tho, seen a great custom one and this looks just like it! Actually saw a video on Youtube of someone customs from a few years ago and the one they've actually released officially look exactly the same. I wonder if they actually pay attention to these great custom ones and then make the most popular ones to stop other people cashing in on them...
I myself just recently got hold of a custom Agent Venom which is already one of my faves in my collection! |

Some sort of black and green spidey Hasbro has said they are scaling back artic in the new waves because blah blah blah. Beast looks shite - Showdown pisses on it. Looking at some of the pics these upcoming figures are gonna be unnecessarily mediocre. |

Ah my bad, was hard to tell the scale in the photos.
I think a little less articulation may be a good thing if it reduces costs and gets more kids buying the line. I'm pretty sure any 4, 5 or 6 year old would get frustrated trying to pose some of these figures because I know I do. |

I will go on record as saying the Avengers Movie line Skrull is better than the scrawny MU version. We have 5 movie versions and 14 (need another for 15) MU versions and use the movie line as the 'leaders' and brutes of the squads.
I agree that with added articulation comes added frustration. Nice for poses but harder for play. Also, I know I bitch about the new wave, but wrist swivels are not are deal breaker for me. We dont really X-Men other than the main ones from the cartoon and have only a single Spidey and he is our Avengers anyway. Maybe in the future might get into a Spider-Man setup, but as for now they are a pass for us. I am super happy that they are making the figures they are making as it will fill many gaps in others collections. On the lookout for a Starfox now though.....

a) Hasbro won't get any more of them into stores. b) They will still be characters that most kids don't know about. This is a collectors line and Hasbro knows it. They're screwing with us. Quote:
