Some newer stuff and some older stuff. I need to hang all the rest of my cars up. I just picked up the rhino bus and green goblin cruiser from the spiderman line yesterday too.

Finally found a Homer !
Also, I keep seeing those Star Trek vehicles from the Pop Culture line, but as much as I love Star Trek, I just can't bring myself to buy those. I love the art (which I assume is from the old Gold Key comics) on them, but they just don't appeal to me. I think I'd just rather buy replicas of the ships from Star Trek, instead of classic panel vans with ST art on them, lol. Cool idea, and I although I like my DC Pop Culture vehicles, those just aren't for me. Last edited by Frank Richards; 07-11-2014 at 09:55 PM.. |

I still haven't spotted Snoopy either, and lol, I honestly think I'm even more eager to get him than I was The Homer. |

Congrats! I was lucky enough to find one myself last week. I even found a second one for a co-worker who's into the TV-themed HW.

I haven't seen anything new since The Homer, and I've been checking on a regular basis.

For those with any interest in the new Marvel Hot Wheels, I spotted Cap, Thor, Spidey, and Iron Man at TRU and Target today.
I didn't snap a pic myself, but here's a pic courtesy of BBTS: Marvel Hot Wheels 1:64 Scale Character Car Series 01 - Case of 12 - Marvel Comic Products Hot Wheels Personally, I had to pass on these. I wasn't a fan of this type of design when Mattel made those DC vehicles in this style either. Actually, I take that back. I liked the Green Lantern vehicle, since it was basically a ring construct of a fighter jet (but with wheels). Last edited by Frank Richards; 08-14-2014 at 02:35 PM.. |

They looked cool on the pegs, but that's about as far as I'm willing to go with them (both the DC and Marvel cars).
Full disclosure: I almost bought a Harley Quinn-themed HW once, simply because it had a Harley deco (like the Star Trek ones). The completionist side of me saw it and said "Must have all things Harley Quinn". Then Practical Me b****-slapped Completionist Me and said "No. You only get away with that s*** if it's Soundwave." ....it was an odd day in the toy aisle.

I'm not proud of it though I really like those two characters, and although I wasn't a fan of the concept, I too let my completionist mentality get the better of me. |

Another hobby of mine besides Action figures is Hot Wheels (and other die cast) my absolute favorite is Military Die Cast, but I also love Movie/TV/pop culture cars. Heres my collection of those so far.

To this day, I still regret not buying them when they were in stores. I think that I overcompensated with Mattel's larger-scale Batmobile Hot Wheels a few years ago in order to make up for not buying the Corgis a decade ago. I've always largely preferred the Batmobiles from the various Batman movies and animated series, so the Hot Wheels line turned out to be a better fit for me anyways. However, I'd still like to add some Corgis to my collection though. Maybe some day soon, I'll pick up a few on ebay. Last edited by Frank Richards; 08-21-2014 at 01:08 AM.. |

I finally found a couple of Snoopys a couple of days ago, but more importantly, I found some important info concerning the upcoming 2014 Kroger Halloween exclusive Hot Wheels !
I haven't found any official news or confirmations, but these are popping up on Ebay: Ghostbusters Ecto 1 Hot Wheels 2014 Halloween | eBay Personally, I'm ecstatic about this Ecto-1. I missed out on the 2012 Kroger Halloween Ecto-1 repaint, because I didn't even know this line even existed until a few days before Halloween in 2012. However, I was lucky enough to have found the 2012 Halloween Batmobile. I was kinda hoping for another Halloween Batmobile this year as well, but maybe we'll get one next year.
