Right now, I'd say don't get your hopes up about a lot of your wish list getting made. IF they get two waves, and say one of them is dedicated to "movie series" figures, they've already got more than enough cancelled comic based figures that were far enough along in production to fill a wave. That being said, hopefully some of the figures on your list make it as possible swaps. Disco Dazzler with roller skates would be HAWT. lol

It would be nice to see the Madrox figure that was a prototype in the fan's choice contest a few years back also get released but I'm probably just grasping at straws.
With Magik presumably coming, and Moonstar already made and shelved yet who knows might make a reappearance, Madrox, Polaris and to a lesser degree Sunspot Blink, Syrin Marrow and Dazzler would be my wants for X-Men heroes legends. Villains are another story but the list is getting less and less. Two waves of X-men: Apocalypse figures would be awesome. If we got that we'd have Cannonball, Moonstar Sunspot and Magik of New Mutants. The rest of the New Mutants I could care less about. It's just irritating we have only Cannonball out of that whole thing (not counting characters who were part of the X-Force run). Though if they released a Wolfsbane I would probably buy it if I could find it cheap. |

Oh I don't get my hopes up too much these days. Hasbro has not failed to disappoint in my wishlist the last few years, with a very few exceptions. And that's mostly been MU/MI not ML. The SDCC exclusives and 90's Jean Grey have pretty much been the only ML exceptions....but I digress. I just mentioned Madrox because at one point, there was one prototype figure made and I'd love to see it done for retail.

In NY I usually see some Greek dude and an older gent go around and buy up ALL the rare figures. My job sends me different locations so I always see them.
Someone else explained to me the Toy Wiz hires people to send out and look and purchase all the high demand(RARE) figures they can in the NY area for there warehouse. So in NY we have to deal with those types.....so it pains me to hear that Storm may or may not be in stores because those gents are around. Originally Black Widow was so tough to find, my buddy from Hasbro sent one for me thankfully but those favors are so far between. Bummed out I can't score a White Queen at a decent price also. |

I guess I was a little too fast at my limited non-disappointments for ML. I forgot we got the awesome Viper and Madame Masque what two years ago? The latter of which, ironically, was one of my very rare finds at retail. |

Yeah I don't even rely on retail distribution anymore.

I picked up Rocket pretty much just because I've liked his character since I was a kid (a raccoon wearing a green vest, green boots, and toting around deadly firepower for the purpose of clown killing was so awesome to me), but I will say as a figure it's lackluster.
I still enjoy the MU version, after all. Quote:
Could have used just a little more pose, and maybe another accessory SPOILER FOR GOTG I'm sure they could have fit a planter-pot sapling baby Groot from the ending hidden in package behind the cardboard frame SPOILER FOR GOTG

This is the side by side comparison of the demo at a past comicon to the figure we received. I'm not a customize and paint guy yet, but has anyone tweaked their Viper (lol). If so please inspire us with your pics or tips on how to touch her up, even if you think a new head altogether is the option

Such a horrible paint job. She looks like a drag queen and Janice Dickinson had a six inch plastic baby.
Sweet haul. Every time I see the X Men Legends I get jealous. I tracked down Storm and her BAF piece seperately from two different members of another forum for what made it $30 shipped. I dont care about the packaging so it was a bargain compared to the $50 others have been asking. Now I stalk the mailman. Last edited by jmurray90720; 08-27-2014 at 05:56 PM.. |

Flaw in your logic is that NO retailer is going to limit a store sale item like this due to scalping. They don't know/care about scalpers because they still get the sale..so if you were to buy up all the Storms and Magnetos the store doesn't care if the pegs are left with shit tons of Wolverines. Case distribution is the problem as they pack Mags and Storm at 1 per case. 1 (ONE) UNO Single....creating the shortfalls we are seeing now. The Wolverine doesn't even have a BAF piece yet he is packed at 2 in the case...when the case could have had even distribution of Cyc,Stryf Storm and Mags at 2 per case...so yeah the 1 in case figs are gonna go first due to scalping and panic...
The biggest trick is even getting a ticket. |

Hello, everyone. I agree with most of the posts on the point that the ML Emma Frost figure is a very hard to find...I have been looking for her forever. And, I think, the price for the new ML Emma Frost figure is not going down any time soon. Most of the recent and popular ML action figures such as (1) Emma Frost, (2) Carnage, (3 and 4) AIM and Hydra soldiers, and (5) Black Widow seem to be sold online mostly and not in retail stores...I have taken many of trips to the local retail store only to find the leftover (Eletros!) from vultures (Scalpers and Store Employees) or nothing at all! So, the online option has been the my only avenue ,of late, to get the popular figures from the recent waves, and this options helps me save on gas, which is more money to maybe put towards another action figure when I do order online. But, sometimes, I do miss taking a drive to local retail stores in my area and finding at least one variant figure and others from a wave after the trip...For now, I guess that thrill is gone.

I never knew about Magik, and after a quick google search I found the digital sculpt from the SDCC panel.
A sign of another X themed wave to come? They seem to be sticking to themes these days. |

I'm ok with the themed waves. I would welcome some more X-Men characters. If what they showed off at SDCC is any indication, we might get some obscure characters. I mean, they're doing a Machine Man, that's pretty awesome!

I'm ok with themed waves too, especially if there is an appropriate BAF involved.
If there's no BAF, then mix-and-match waves are great since I can cherry-pick the ones I actually want without fear of having an incomplete BAF. I hope I don't have to resort to that, but my hopes are dwindling each day.

The themed wave I want is the Inhumans with an obvious BAF of Lockjaw. Between the release of Black Bolt and Medusa at SDCC and the repeated calls for this wave and BAF on websites, I can't imagine that the set is very far away....

I like classic anything. While I like my SDCC Medusa, I was a little disappointed by the lack of hair-extensions (lol this being a much different connotation than its meaning in my neighborhood). Making a classic version might provide the opportunity to get the accessories we didn't get with the SDCC version.

Probably be cheaper than paying for a new one with packaging |

I am not keeping my Rocket. I need the BAF part, but if anyone wants an open one, hit me up.
