Just a quick cell pic of one of my shelves. For all the complaints about lack of villains in the line, doesnt seem too short to me. Mutants are a shelf above, Thanos and Blastaar a shelf below with Cosmic, and Titanium Man, Kraven, and Bullseye are awaiting replacement after being used as fodder but otherwise this is it minus army builders

Of Italian descent, I mean born in and a citizen of. Punisher is American, so is Kate. There are a lot of characters whose family lineage traces to another country, but if you're born in America then you are an American. I'll use myself here as example, I'm white-mutt/Thai, but I was born in America so I'm not a Thai citizen or anything.

Wow, Serious your out huh? A lot of people are leaving actually lately. The new distribution and the overall look has put a lot off. Not to mention the cheaper plastic, and the new limited articulation figures with no paint washes have yet to drop. That is collecting life though.... without someone leaving someone new can't get in. Sad to see you go, especially after you just scored two Infinity Gauntlet sets. When did you decide to do this?..... And dibs on ANY army builders your selling, PM me later please.
Hate to see you go, any idea as to what you might be getting into next?

Also....am I the only person who puts Ares with the Avengers as a "good guy" and not as a villian or Dark Avenger?

I used to think lack of villains but I love my villains collection and definitely as time went by there was plenty. I think villains are more unique. I still want enchantress and whirlwind.i need to figure out how to fit the figures up higher in the bacm

I use an old shoe box as a cheap riser for the back figures, I use kind of a thinner box, but it's just as tall as any others. I don't know if you have the space for that, but try using a shoe box.

Yeah, XMostWanted559X...just about ANYTHING painted black would work fine for your style of setup. I would suggest a 2x4 for the second row and two 2x4 nailed together for the back third row. A 2x4 is actually 1.5"x3.5" because of shrinkage in the kiln drying process...so you need just 6" plus another 2" or more for the front row....that book case/shelf unit you have would easily accomodate that and would ALMOST be invisible when painted a matching black. Or something along those lines, just a little boost is all you need for your bleacher style risers.

Dude, Deadpool is not a villain. I'm not gonna leave, Just not going to spend time looking for figures anymore. I'll buy the characters that I'm a big fan of and thats it. Like for example I want the legends Stryfe & Agent Venom. I'm in dire need of a 3.75" Cable to hang with my Deadpool. The other project that I have mentioned is my own comics that I have been playing around with the last 3 years. have a bunch of characters and stories just written on notepads & in my computer. I really wanna try & get serious about it.

Deadpool (Wade Winston Wilson) is a fictional character, a mercenary and anti-hero appearing in comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by artist Rob Liefeld and writer Fabian Nicieza, Deadpool first appeared in New Mutants #98 (Feb. 1991).
A disfigured and mentally unstable mercenary, Deadpool originally appeared as a villain in an issue of New Mutants, and later in issues of X-Force. The character has since starred in several ongoing series, and shares titles with other characters such as Cable. Also known as the "Merc with a Mouth," Deadpool is famous for his talkative nature and his tendency to break the fourth wall, which is used by writers to humorous effect. thats like when people think he was the first to break the fourth wall. She Hulk used to do that in the 80s. She was a trendsetter. See Link

LOL dude, I know his 1st app. Pool is my fav character of all time. Just because he 1st appeared opposing the x-force does not make him bad. He's simply a a hired gun. I have a 9.8 CGC New Mutants 98. One of my prized comics. If we wanna get technical he can be on his own anti-hero shelf with Punisher & Blade.
Anyway……. I do not plan on listing in my BST. I've spent the past few hours sorting through and putting them in lots. X-Men, Spider-Man, Avengers, Marvel Knights, Hulk/Ironman & a Galaxy/Asguardian lot. I just don't wanna make a million trips to the P.O. So I'm grouping them up in a flat rate box. I would have pix up but I'm off to a party & I have another few hours of GI Joe/Fodder. The only figures i'm keeping from my collection are listed below. All the rest will be up for grabs so keep an eye out. Keeping GotG Pack SDCC Thanos, Nebula & Death(Has to stay w/ my pool) Dr. Doom Commander Rogers Kitbash Thor WW Hulk Extremis Ironman SHS Spider-Man Comic pack Hawkeye & Comic pack Deadpool. Custom WIP Black Widow.

I Blame Rulk/ Red Hulk. I hate him. I do have a Galactus with filmcard if anyone on here is interested. Maybe I'll sell that on here instead of ebay. Oh my SDCC Thanos i'm keeping is keeping the standard MU Gauntlet. SO the MU Thanos join up will have the transparent gauntlet from SDCC along with his closed fist.

I like Deadpool a good deal, but not nearly as much as I used to. Yeah he first appeared as an antagonist, but not really a villain. His first solo project was The Circle Chase, which still stands as one of his greatest stories to this day, and it showed that Wade was cynical and rude but also looking to redeem himself in some way. Deadpool vol.1 continued the trend of making him flawed and emotionally vulnerable all while trying to do some real good to separate himself from his past. Deadpool vol.1 is easily the best Deadpoool book available because of the character development which was paired with humor to lighten the mood. Then suddenly DP got a huge popularity boost because of X-Men Origins, and when vol.2 started they opted to cut out all of the character progression and troubled-past stories in favor of making him into a clown who kills a lot of people, makes some jokes while doing it, and then obsesses over Mexican food. It would be akin to Moon Knight stopping being an anti-hero vigilante schizophrenic face-cutter-offer, and becoming a clean cut-n'-dry by the books kind of hero like Captain America pretty much always is.
I also don't get where the idea that Deadpool is so powerful came from. I don't know if you guys have ever heard this, but apparently just because he has a healing factor and was cursed with life by Thanos, some people interpret that as Deadpool can beat anybody. Even though he's been defeated by Wolverine, Moon Knight, and Captain America, clearly he could take on Thor, Wonder Man, or the Silver Surfer. Hell, AoA Iceman killed him and were it not for Deathlok's "love everybody" attitude he would have stayed shattered into a million frozen pieces. My overall point to this rant is: Deadpool has been greatly diminished in character and story by being brought to the spotlight. I still like him anyway, but not as much as I used to.

Agreed my dude. Pool was an awesome book until Way took over the run. The whole Deadpool is OP thing was crazy! I even hated the cursed with life thing. Took away from him I think. Problem was he got really popular for a bit & Marvel rode that out big time! He had I believe 5 ongoing comics at one time with multiple 1 shots all over. It was a very expensive & sad time to be a Deadpool fan. Between Marvel/Pool & DC/Lanterns that's why I quit buying comics & just went tpb only.

That is my favorite thing you have said ever! LOL. I love the Kelly/McGuinness run. It's comic gold. I picked up Spidey #611 just for Kelly writing pool again.

Should really read the current 'Pool run if you're not already. It's funnier than ever and actually... there are times where it's the SADDEST book in my pull list. They do a good job of balancing his book with drama.

It looks like the Carnage from the Spider-Man fiercest foes line, it was called like "monster claw Carnage" or something close to that.

I quite like Brian Posehn as a comedian and metal-enthusiast, so maybe later I'll give vol.3 a read, but right now I'm busy catching up on Fables.

I actually don't have that figure but it looks like: ball hinged shoulders and elbows, ball jointed head, ball hinged hips with swivel thighs, and ball hinged knees. Almost identical articulation to the Avengers movie comic series Skrull. So not really the greatest, but not bad, he probably goes for a lot because he's the only Carnage in-scale and his line wasn't particularly long-running and as I recall he was already rare back then. I honestly use the new Legends Carnage for my MU display because Carnage can change size via toxic waste consumption and has at several points in the past grown to large heights.
