Carnage is a fairly decent figure, I made a little axe for mine:

As for deadpool, I remember when he was shattered by AOA iceman... "Is that wade in the bag?" I liked him in that xforce run, archangel was paying him but he never cashed a single check, so he has his redemptive qualities. |

That's some nice custom work, like how you took the inside eyes off of venom. Carnage has wrist/upper forearm swivels makes a big difference, he can hold others by the neck and get in some pretty dynamic poses, way better than the movie comic series skrull. Carnage (translucent and silver eyes) was also released in that ultimate gift set with hobgoblin, ultimate scorpion and spidey, both are great but that gift set is a much better value. Legends carnage is awesome too. Is that Rorschach behind scarecrow?

@ Kernel: I don't actually have one I was just going off of the pictures I've seen, though if I ever found one or the multipack for a fair deal I'd probably get it. Rick Remender is probably the best writer who's handled Deadpool since Joe Kelly, and Uncanny X-Force is also just an all around stellar book. I honestly don't get why there is an Uncanny X-Force vol.2 since it doesn't carry over any plot from vol.1 (that's what Uncanny Avengers is for) and the team never called itself the Uncanny X-Force (I don't remember them ever calling it anything other than their stealth strike team type deal). I guess it would've been better to call it something else, but Marvel wanted to draw in readers of vol.1 by calling this vol.2.

Technically you're not selling out, you're just quitting/dropping out.

Yeah that makes it sound even worse. Hmmm…. Maybe we should put up a poll. lol. See it started with just MU figures then grew into a few joes for parts/troops then it became a giant mess of 3.75" figures. Even have the Jason & Leatherface figures. Now you have me thinking if I sell all my doubles, Fodder & other non MU figures I can still keep some & clear out a bunch.

A few years ago I purged a large section of my Joe collection, now I'm buying back all the figures I traded off.

I honestly won't regret ditching the joe's way to many of them in hopes of using them for customs basically. & now I just don't feel like messing with them. Although the Retaliation Ultimate Cobra Commander is an awesome figure. Yeah I just think I need another few good hours of sorting through & make a final decision. I think If I can just get back to my core MU no other 3.75" & then just pick & choose figures. Don't go crazy out of my way to get them, wait for a deal then I'll be good. This isn't the 1st time i've sold off my MU collection just to come back a few years later. I love the 3.75" scale if I sell them all I'll prob just be back again. Like all habits moderation is key.
My biggest problem is that I do not have a proper display. My basement/Man-Room is an ongoing WIP. Everytime I get the money to knock it out something happens & I have to spend it elsewhere. & my office/guest room is now being converted into another bedroom for a child that my wife & I hope to foster/adpot. So all my cool shit is basically stacked away or put in tubs/boxes. It kills me to just have shit sit around. I can't take over my living room completely.

You can sit on the idea and come back to it a little bit later. Honestly I can't relate to your situation since I've never been there, so I'm also not the best person to be giving advice here, but don't feel pressured into making a decision rashly.

Can anyone help me identify these figures I picked up at my local comic shop today?
I just saw that you are bowing out. I hope I'm not posting pics of your old collection because my local shop just got a huge set of MU. Does anyone need a blade or mrs marvel or green goblin or hobgoblin? they have tons of stuff. I'll snap a pic for you guys when I swing by again tomorrow and grab stuff if you'd like. ebay is ALMOST flooded with entire MU collections right now. Seems more than one is getting out. On the different FB groups though, there are tonnes of newbies each week. I guess to make way for new collectors, old collectors must bow out.
Sucks to be on the fence though. Ask yourself WHY you began in the first place.... if you can't answer that question the same today as you did when you got your first MU, then it is time. I have helped several people sell entire collections before and they always (at least then) seem relieved the next day. It is my opinion that if you are even asking the question.... you already know the answer.

My problem is that I started collecting MU in 2013, when the line started to fade...
Now I miss several figs, but since I'm only buying the ones I like, it's getting harder and harder to get the ones I want since I have to cherry pick from MU sets people are selling... The good thing with buying from fellow arkers is that I always had good-painted figs (no derpy eyes, no big flaws) , as they've been selected by a previous owner.

We miss exactly the same figures. Out of them only Firestar is critical for me, the rest are in "nice-to-have variants" category.
