Cyclops is up at HTS now, and free shipping is back on. I got him, some Christmas toys for the kids, and Generations Jetfire.
After the Guardians/Wonderman Ionic wave, that's it until next year. Wave 1 was supposed to be the 2 Beast variants, the 2 Sandman variants, Bishop, Black Cat, and Big Time Spider-Man. And I think you're right on expecting those in the spring. |

It's been a while since I shared any sketches, but I finished this piece yesterday. He's like the cold king of the bone-yard, probably regretting something from his past, that's for you to figure out.

Thanks for posting that list raf! I'm missing quite a few. I can't imagine how much it would cost to get every MU figure, especially including 2 packs, 3 packs, target, walmart, TRU con/digital exclusives, etc. I'm hoping they keep the line going for years, there are so many characters and different versions, I feel like they just scratched the surface of the marvel universe, not to mention the alternate realities (AoA, DOFP, OML, earth x, zombies etc) wonder how an obscure case pack of say dr bong, hydra bob, macho Gomez, aunt may etc would sell? Probably not too well but that's what I love about MU line. It seems like if they make a 6" legends or black series mistake they peg warm forever, but Mu/MI always seems to move near me anyways.

He's insanely rich so he could probably afford to buy in bulk from Skymall. A skeletal themed toilet would be neat if the flush was a spinal cord/vertebral column for a pull flush, or like a skeleton hand for a lever type flush. I'm sure we've just described the toilet from the house in Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

We almost need a dedicated home for that list, a place to GO TO at any time. The wiki lists are...well, ok. There is a great one on HissTank, but this one is OCD and needed.
The only thing I see missing are SDCC and other exclusives. They are single carded (some anyway) and in my opinion should be added. If it is a single card and says Marvel Universe.... should be there. Also just for the sake of continuity, I would like to a complete list that has ALL these, plus the exclusives and the 2&3 packs. The line ran from 2009-2013 under the Marvel Universe logo/brand/name. Even the carded Galactus is under the MU name as well.

20th Century Fox has officially announced Deadpool for February 2016. I don't expect we'll be getting a toy line for that, but maybe it'll get the Deadpool figure to be repacked again since it isn't exactly an easy figure to get.

This one's literally a coin flip. Count me cautiously optimistic for the movie though. It could be good or horrendously bad. Either way though it looks promising for X-Force later at least. Now if only Fox would get off their arse and do an X-23 film while the synergy is here and the media exposure she's about to get is prevalent enough they can capitalize on it for free press about the endeavor. |

Possible, but yeah not likely. R-rated movies tend to skip toy lines. Then again, it's Deadpool, and the whole tongue in cheek nature may get the overkill treatment(and be a chance to toss in other X-Men film figures anyway that have been skipped for awhile now).

Besides, in the late '80s through the '90s marketing R-rated movies to kids was the name o' the game. Like every action/horror movie was made for adults and then given toys and shit for kids. Aliens, Robocop, Terminator, Predator, etc.

I think Fox would try to get in under the 18 age restriction for ticket sales. Toys... should get the same treatment as recent X-Men films. Hasbro doesn't want to upset MARVEL by marketing for Fox. Remember the memo that went out NOT to use FF,Skrulls,Galactus or anything from them. They buried that franchise. They are killing Wolverine for the same reasons. Even the new Disney Infinity Marvel that launches today in the UK has no X-Men or FF. They aren't in the cartoons either.... sure we all know and love them, but Disney is trying to erase them for the next generation. Let's face.it, Disney didn't buy Marvel to make money from comic books, they bought it for making shit loads of money from films and character recognition at their parks...... that is just my opinion, it is all speculation, and I am sure (and hope) that mine differs from others. My prediction: the Deadpool film will not get any toys.

You can use discount code SUPER20 to get 20% off as well. I went ahead and ordered one since I passed up on it the first time it was out. Sorry if this is old news but I have not seen any posts about it here. |

Not so sure that the movie will be rated R, Deadpool is kind of only ever as bad as Wolverine (in terms of violence/gore and content). Not like Punisher where not doing it R-rated is absurd, you can tone down Wolverine and Deadpool and get the point across.

a DP toyline? Not likely. Hasbro doesnt seem to support the superhero films that arent controlled by Disney. You saw the support for DOFP, and the Wolverine.

Yup. If they are thinking they will sell this to the kids then they are foolish. They need the training wheels taken off with an R rating. We know that it won't be a huge budget and a PG-13 would likely cause some people to no bother with the movie. I think a Deadpool movie is aimed more at the Scott Pilgrim crowd than the general public. I mean, even a lot of hardcore comic fans can't stand the character while others absolutely love him.

Ideally it would be rated R, but technically they can easily make it PG-13. On that point though, nothing about Deadpool makes him explicitly adult-themed. The #1 reason his comics are ever marked for parental advisory is for innuendo or violence. As I said he's not Punisher running around and torturing criminals and shit, he's a mercenary with a sense of humor. Fox will probably also note that no R-rated superhero movie ever does superb in the box office, like the Punisher with Thomas Jane or Watchmen. Besides it's not like Spawn, where the comics practically introduced R-rated stuff to the comic-books so making the movie initially PG-13 ruined it, it's Deadpool whose greatest stories only sit in the T-rated section of comics (referring to the Joe Kelly run).
