God no. For one thing, Kamen Rider is live action, and you wouldn't want to watch anyting live action dubbed.
Secondly, Kamen Rider was brought to the US twice as Saban's Masked Rider and Kamen Rider Dragon Knight, both of which failed because they tried to do what was done with Power Rangers from Sentai. OH, Media Blasters did bring a movie over to the US, but it sold so poorly they never bothered with anything else. That one is called Masked Rider The First, but I'm not sure it is still in print. Hopefully, Shout Factory releasing ZyuRanger in the US will sell well enough to warrant them getting Kamen Rider series.

Kamen Rider Kabuto is, but as suggested, you may want to stick to subs.
Depends on what kind of series you prefer too. They have a tendency to progressively get more and more corny. Black and Black RX are 80s series and reflect the times, but are still decent and hold up. Kuuga is interesting but kind of dated. It was the first of the revitalizing the brand for present day and probably had the smallest budget of the new series. (2000) Agito many like, personally I had a hard time getting into it. It has some interesting concepts though like a prototype police suit, maintenance staff, and carrier wagon for it. The police technology side of the story on Agito did hook me, but it wasn't the focal point of the series. (2001) Ryuuki is fun and presents interesting moral questions. (2002) Faiz is awesome. But fair warning, the show has a lot of intentional misinformation that allows the bad guys to hype themselves up and it's never truly explained what they are. There are also other questions about the belt origins as whether they are ancient artifacts or new technology even though it's presented as technology. (2003) Blade is epic. I made the mistake of watching episode 2 before episode 1 and it really hooked me that way creating an interesting Tarantino like vibe to the series as a whole. (2004) Hibiki is fun, but they had a writer change in the middle of it which altered the direction, and then they switched back towards the end to keep the original foreshadowed conclusion. It's steeped more in Japanese folklore though and isn't your typical rider series. It's more experimental, but as a whole works well for it with the intended character growth of the audience entry-way into the series. (2005) Kabuto is amazingly awesome too, but it gets kind of muddled towards the end with what it's trying to do. Still an amazing series though. (2006) Den-O is fun, has some great moments and also a ton of light heartedness to balance the heaviness of other storylines within. (2007) Kiva is amazing, but extremely convoluted and can get confusing with the era switching. Ixa's design is awesome though, and the fan edited version of the series that shifts the focus to Ixa and its progression to modern day is wonderful and less confusing. (2008) Decade is amazing, but starts getting a bit lost towards the end. They also rewrote what was probably the most perfect Kamen Rider ending ever to make it fit to the movies. (2009) W is a noir throwback mixed in with the more modern campyness they'd been using. (2009) OOO is fun if a little bit silly. The designs rock. Especially Sahgozo. (2010) Fourze is fun and space themed. (2011) Wizard has some great designs, but I've yet to watch the series so can't comment. (2012) Gaim I've yet to watch. So can't comment. (2013) Drive starts airing this saturday. (2014) There are also two non-series movies that are modern day retellings of the original riders(and looks to have had story potential for a third one to be made, and there were rumors of doing the same to the first sentai series Goranger too). Kamen Rider: The First then the follow up movie Kamen Rider: The Next. And lastly, there's one film that's borderline Hulk influenced (Bill Bixby series) called Shin Kamen Rider from the 90s. If you like Kamen Rider, I definitely suggest checking out Garo(adult oriented, it was a midnight show like Cutie Honey the Live which I also recommend if you want slapstick genre internally mocking fun). Super Sentai itself is a mixed bag, but if you want to dabble in that, I highly recommend the original Gekirangers series. Ultraman is another one that's fun to check out, but depends if you like serious or camp. If you want to see a serious take on it with more adult themes, check out Nexus and the movie Ultraman.(The serious originally non-series tied movie.) If you like the campiness, go towards Max and the Ultra brothers type series/movies like Mebius. the newer Ultra7X is also good if you want to see something more serious and darkly futuristic. That's the fun thing with Toku. There's a series and flavor for just about anyone depending on your tastes. It's just a matter of finding which one fits what you like. One thing you need to keep in mind though with toku is the airtime. The later at night the series originally aired, the more adult oriented it is, but there are exceptions to that like Ultraman Nexus that was incredibly dark at spots with the themes it covered(and it had a children's show timeslot!). Kamen Rider started out as a manga, but no, it has never been brought to the US. It was created by Ishinomori, who also created Gilgamesh, Cyborg 009, 009-1, and Skullman (which evolved into Kamen Rider).

Picked up the Best Buy Steelbook of TF:AOE. Now I can skip every part with the pointless humans and just watch robots kill each other.
Also got some add-ons from overseas for the SW Black and Marvel Legends. Really think the Jedi cloaks are what was missing from these figures. And pants and a hoodie for Electro. And just a shout out to the packaging department for the WWE figures. Nice variant showing off all the tattoo's on Drax...I mean Dave. |

A store on eBay makes custom clothes for figures (6" and others). His/Her wares (robes, trench-coats, leather jackets) keep showing up in my 'Marvel Legends/DC Univers accessories' searches:

I normally don't post video game purchases here, but I'm just SOOO exited about this Teddie bop bag that came with my copy of Persona 4 Arena Ultimax !
Sure it's somewhat goofy, and a little juvenile, but it's a surprisingly fun bit of free merch, AND it's such a perfectly fitting way to depict that character ! Granted, it's not nearly as impressive as the Nendoroid that came with the latest version of Blaz Blue, but it's a nice bonus to go along with a great game. |

Sure thing man! I'd feel more deserving of thanks if I was the one who actually made these items, but I'm happy to pass on the information. I hope you find what you want there. I know there is a warranted stereotype about 'Evilbay' here on Toyark (and many other sites). However, eBay has always treated me well....but then agian, I take careful precautions to steer clear of the obvious swindlers and price gougers.

Went to TRU today and found the Funko MTG legacy figures and picked up Chandra.
The figure doesn't come with the cards or anything, that's just me putting in my cards for the picture. And today is my birthday, so I got these Arkham Origins Batman is just out of the picture, you can kinda see the top of his box. Technically I've had these for a while, but I've made myself wait until my birthday to open 'em. Here's hopin' everybody finds what they're looking for this week.

Yep. rickhor409 on ebay is exactly who I got them from. I definitely would suggest getting a couple at once to counter the shipping, but I really like them a lot. Really think the SW Black figures needed them and he has a few different colors too. I will consider Endor Hans jacket if they announce a proper (brown pants) Han. I will be ordering the black Darth Maul robe and the grey version of the longcoat for when the new Machine Man Marvel Legends comes out so I can replace the head and have modern/ NEXTwave Arron Stack :-)

Was super excited when these arrived in the mail today from Amazon. I finally caved and ordered these stands made by Kaiser after having an extreme amount of difficulty posing the human cast of my Walking Dead collection. While they say for 6 or 7 inch dolls, these actually work best for figures at 5", like McFarlane's Walking Dead, Halo, or Assassin's Creed figures. For those curious though, they do not work so great for 3.75" scale, but Kaiser does make smaller stands to accommodate those scales as well.
They come in boxes of 12, and assemble easily... And the best part is...no more worrying about finding Rick and company in a crumpled heap on the floor! |

Kamen Rider Kabuto is dubbed, but I couldn't tell ya how good the dub is. It was done for the Philippines. The little bit I remember from it was that it wasn't bad, but no clue beyond the first episode.
As for manga, a few. Mostly side story stuff and they are pretty short per whichever series they were done for. (Black/RX has one, Den-O has a few, and I think most of the others had at least a one shot type story. None of them are longer than one volume except for maybe Den-O's imagin's side stories.) Skullman has a bunch though. He was the original influence for what eventually became Kamen Rider and shares many of the same themes and tropes. (Same initial creator! He influenced a lot of what became the founding superheroes of Japan outside of Astroboy.) Oh! And I forgot to mention the absolutely adult oriented comedic official parody Kamen Rider G. The rider powered by alcohol. It's a short less than 20 minute one-off episode thingy. Last edited by Snowflakian; 09-30-2014 at 08:58 PM.. |

You actually have this excellent modern manga with all the old, historical riders fighting evil together... More modern drawing and writing... The title is Kamen Rider Spirits.
I don't know if its been released in US though...
