There was an Arkham Knight figure shown off at SDCC. Both he and Black Mask should be a part of the upcomming waves. There also might be an individual release of the Origins Batman figure.
I'm really hoping that, after these next two Arkham waves, they do more old DC movie stuff and some waves dedicated to the TV shows. Both Arrow and The Flash could support a whole wave of figures each. Then in 2015 they should hopefully start dedicating whole waves to the new movies. A wave for BvS and a wave for SS. though I'm not sure what they'll release between movies. Arkham and the other live-action parts of DC can only carry them so far. Hopefully they decide to at least try out doing comic-based figures in this line. That said, I have a bad feeling that they might deem the line a failure before they could even possibly get to BvS. They've also got a ton of stuff to draw on between all the various forays available. Between the movie slates, the vast amount of characters in the various games, and whatever other stuff they decide to draw upon, they shouldn't run out anytime soon. Plus, we're looking at about 4 waves a year it seems. The multi-pack being planned is also suggestive of the line doing very well overall. Multi-packs aren't done for lines that aren't successful when they do a slow build to one. I hope they do BvS as a sub-line. A well articulated Wonder Woman in this scale would be awesome! |

With how well the Multiverse line is doing and how popular is seems to be now going back to the figures from MoS (which I liked fine until I replaced mine with Injustice Superman) and TDK/R would be a huge step backwards. I'd hope Mattel is smarter than that.

puts back to a one MAYBE two between Joker/Harley and the movie. And I agree an Arrow/Flash wave makes sense but I never would have predicted wave two would be based on 80's movies. |

Right, and the figures tend to come out two to three months ahead, and the last wave before a movie line usually comes out a few month before that so the market is fresh for movie merchandise.

It'd be kind of neat to have retro movie/tv heroes in comparison to the new coming out. Like keaton batman and reeves superman alongside supergirl to compare to the BvS Man of steel, Affleck batman, and Gadot Wonderwoman. It'd make for interesting then and now progression pieces. |

Spurkit 4'' Batman New 52
I got the figure a couple of months back bought mostly to make my Amazon order more even in terms of shipping. Figure detail is good but has several flaws specially if consider the price for them. Here is the list: 1. No eyes painted or stickers 2. Cape made of hard plastic 3. Limited articulation 4. Stickers for the upper arms instead of being painted. I corrected most of these: 1. Painted the eyes on him 2. Gave him a fabric cape from a cheap Darknight figure 3. Added some articulation of the upper arms. Originally he can't turn 1Âş now he can do 360Âş 4. Painted the upper arms since the stickers sucked in my opinion. Clearly Bandai wanted to low the costs as much as possible reason why the articulation is limited, nothing is painted and the cape was hard plastic. |

As for for some of the ideas proposed, if we ever get an Alfred figure in this line, I want it to be Michael Gough. Well assuming they can get the rights to use his likeness. Which I'm assuming is going to be the big thing keeping them from doing figures of some of these older DC movies/shows. As for any Batmobile, I'd rather wait and get a BvS one, or if they ever do anything comics related, the new 52 Batmobile. An '89 Batmobile couldn't hurt either.

The line is doing well... for now. Who knows how long Mattel can keep this up. I'm trying to keep my expectations for this line as low as possible. Mattel's record for lines introduced in recent years isn't exactly helping them.

The Hot Wheels 1:18 1989 Batmobile, while not perfect, looks quite nice next to the Multiverse Keaton.

Kind of hope they manage to fit the 80s supergirl into there too.

I've got a new addition to my 3.75" superhero battle display. Completely forgot about the Green Lantern movie helicopter set that I've owned for quite a while now. Originally bought it because the helo breaks down into various constructs that can be used on DCUC figures with an adapter. I don't display my 6" GL toys anymore, but I finally remembered that all of those constructs could be pieced back together.
I think it looks alright. |

So have been checking Walmart alot recently(last was 2 days ago)
anyway I had almost given up especially with my Walmart only restocking toys twice a year and still sitting on an 89 Batman and 4 Zods.. So I had to go get groceries tonight and apparently they did the holiday reset in the last 2 days, go to the Multiverse figures... 1 Arkham Knight Batman, 1 Scarecrow and Robin. great paint on Robin but I open him up...two left feet. however it really isn't noticeable so it isn't a problem, great figure otherwise. |

Walmart just restocked the arkham wave so I have finally got a red hood so glad this wave was easier to find than the movie wave. Can't wait for the next set to arrive. This and cheap military sets at big lots are all I'm looking for ATM. Headed to IKEA to get a bookshelf for my multiverse figs and can do a shelf full of army guys going nuts too

The Batman Beyond and '66 Batman figures should be interesting. Even if they're based on the Arkham skins.

I'm not expecting anything till Toy Fair, but I'm kinda hoping we get another leak, like we did with Robin. I'm really looking forward to Deathstroke. His AO design isn't my favorite, but he should be a nice looking figure. Though I might need to keep my eye out for weapons for him.

I 3d printed a grapple gun (designed by jaberman1 on Shapeways). It seems about 20% too small. What do you think? Also note the added arm articulation (elbow swivel). With so many new figures coming out soon, I will need to get these joints designed and 3d printed as well. Anyone have any other solutions for adding articulation, so I don't have to break the bank? As for Alfred, it is also a 3D print of Michael Caine (I ran out of K figs, this is a J with the hands painted.) Last edited by vindowviper; 11-07-2014 at 04:06 PM.. |

jaberman1 updated the link, so the one above is for the grapple gun that is 20% larger, which should be a good scale for these figures.

He said he will be uploading one 20% larger tonight. Do you want to wait for that link? If not, here.
