Thanks UltraZoff. That Widow buck is not the best but definitely works for certain characters.

Hmmm. Thanks for the photos phantomcrow. Really helped sway me in the other direction. Not that it looks bad, just to much material covering the front in my opinion. I think I would prefer something much smaller. like this:
*Maybe the cape from The Vision can be customized a little. Or maybe just wait and see what comes with the new Valkyrie. Last edited by Byrnes; 10-21-2014 at 01:47 PM.. |

When into Walgreen's getting some snacks for lunch...then decide to check the toy section...Carnage and Electro...took Carnage of course...and discounted with a Walgreen's card....so waiting paid off somewhat...I know others on the site have suggested me to buy them online...but to the collectors...is there something to be said for the chase of the figure, and the opportunity to see other toys in the stores? Maybe, just me, but sometimes fresh air and finding that figure (stoked to find Carnage) in the wild does my some good...Not trying to sound sappy, but you collectors get my drift...Well, find that figure and collect, collect, collect, but do not going in to debt, Ha!

Wish a new classic style Thanos figure would be made, especially now he's getting more popular

Wasn't that the newer style Thanos though, with the blue hands and that weird coathook thing hanging off his back? Not to mention the patented "Jim Lee armor" style lines, haha.

I like "getting" things at retail, but not chasing them around blindly. I call ahead before going anywhere nowadays and have someone put the item I'm looking for on hold, and it's worked out a lot better than randomly sweeping all the stores in an area. The only stores I don't bother calling (or even going to) are Wal-Mart and TRU; their employees seem to have almost zero knowledge about what's going on in their stores or how to find anything in them.
Actually went looking for Black Series Prototypes....but Agent was there. |

With the Marvel TV shows coming up and Daredevil being one of the shows, I would not be opposed to a BAF Kingpin. The Face Off one is nice but I would love for there to be an even larger one.

I was thinking about Magneto the other day. I never really liked to original Toy Biz Legends version (since it was an Iron Man repaint) and the new Hasbro one is ok, but not great. My favorite Magneto is the X-Men Classics. That mold is awesome, but the coloring it a bit off and he has weird cybernetic stuff on him. I made this digibash thinking it would be a cool custom project and a decent magneto.
I ordered an extra version of the base toy and once he arrives, I'm going to start. I also want an extra Beast from the All New X-Men box set to make the Beast figure that's attached. The Beast is an easy repaint that I wish Hasbro would do. I'm new at digibashing, so these aren't perfect, but you get the idea. Last edited by Spyne98; 10-22-2014 at 07:30 AM.. |

Snagged the Target Legends 3 pack by having an electronics rep check to see if the were in stock. Some info for others looking.
The dcpi provided here worked great. In case you do not have it, 087-06-1200. The case contains 4 sets. If you have the ability to choose, definitely pay attention to Ms. Marvel. Lots of paint issues in the legs area especially. There were no variants with glowing eyes or a maskless head so if they actually exists it does not appear to be a mix in a case. I also should mention the rep told me they are not supposed to be shelved until next week but there is not a street date on the box. It rang up just fine at $50. |

Did you mean they ARE suppose to be shelved until next week? No wonder I haven't seen any. Thanks for the info.

Caved and bought 2 more of the Target set today since they're easy to find now in my area and, for the price, make for great fodder parts. Now I just have to decide which customs to make with all these these base bodies... =)

So just seen the new for avengers age of ultron and Im sad to say that we possibly wont be getting that glorious HB armor as a figure maybe as model or if were really lucky we might get one from marvel select its one of those dreams that might come true but is unlikely i kinda do and hate hasbro for going to the comic root and hope that hulk was sold as he was meant to be and we get an awesome baf which i think is thanos but un sure only time will tell maybe at a Jan - April con will tell us more hopefully well see a whole wave together rather than a few figures
