Nope, just a cheep shell like the x-wing that just came out recently. Looks like it is Star Wars Black stuff for collectors or nothing. All this new NON Black series stuff seems to be just cheep stuff to fill shelves.

So... big box today. Big, big box. Seems like overkill, actually, considering what was actually shipped.
I had no idea that the 4 Batman action figures were placed into four individual tins. That's pretty slick. I intended to keep the AO repaint and the First Appearance Batman, but he doesn't even have purple gloves! They're painted black. So, I think I'll try to get rid of him too. Quick rundown of what I've opened so far: the AO Batman from the tin set looks great, but all of his leg joints are frozen. That sucks. I have a long history of tearing these things apart by trying to unstick joints by trying to force them or using a hair dryer to warm up the parts. Does anyone have any other tips that might work? Constantine has a very anime-like head sculpt, between his hair style and the way they did his eyes. He looks pretty goofy, like an animated version of Spike from Buffy/Angel... which is actually kind of appropriate, in a weird way. Zatanna is great, no complaints there. Red Robin and Batgirl both have bicep swivels on their right arms that seem to have been inserted wrong. Batgirl's is very loose and won't pop into place, so the peg remains visible, while Red Robin's is stuck. I also can't seem to get Batgirl's grapnel gun to fit into her hand. I wish DCC's quality control was better, but these do look great for the most part. My Supergirl also doesn't have extreme crack whore eyes like I've seen some others end up with, so that's a plus. Li'l Gotham Batman looks fantastic, too. |

My regular Arkham Origins Batman had some really stiff joints, but using the hairdryer method worked. I gotta admit though that when I was doing it I was getting really concerned about how long it was taking and that I might have ended up melting something. My advice would be to let it sit for a few days without messing with it and then try moving it, some of my NECA figures have been like that.

Ordered this off ebay, going to meet him next weekend at a Con and wanted something to get signed. Didn't realize how big the box is, but I do think it is really cool

...Unfortunately, as I was taking pics to show how awesome this comic-themed AO repaint was... his arm fell off. WHY THE **** ARE THEY STILL USING CLEAR PLASTIC ON THE JOINTS??!! I bought this whole damn set for one broken Batman. |

I went ahead and attempted it, and like you said it took a really long time to heat those leg joints up enough to pop loose. It worked, though!

Diamond is your best bet. It's the only figure I want from the set too, tins are sweet. Hoping to find someone selling them separately online. |

Got the Multiverse Zod recently. Forgot to snap a pic when I was taking pictures of everything else.
Because off all the DCC stuff I bought recently, now I'm having to re-arrange my collection and take out whatever I don't want to display anymore. Pain in the butt. Quote:
That seriously sucks. My Anarky just broke today and I've had it simce February. If you're familiar with it you know the entire arm is clear plastic.

I think he fits in better with the more recent DCC stuff than all of the New 52 Batmans do. Although I do think that swapping the Capullo Batman's head with this AO repaint's head sculpt would make the perfect Batman figure. Never been a fan of Red Robin's New 52 look, but it looks great in action figure form. Constantine's anime-like head sculpt sticks out even more when he's surrounded by other characters. Still happy to have a partial Justice League Dark, though. |

I thinking about that Constantine, but then I found out he doesn't have waist, ankle, or wrist articulation. Nor does he even come with a cigarette hand.

Plus his hands could easily hold a cigaret between his fingers as-is. People have been rolling up a tiny scrap of paper to make one, and it looks pretty good. I would've done that already, but I'm in the process of making a protection spell as seen on the cover of Constantine #1 for one hand, and some flames to fit over the other hand. |

Finally snagged a Galactus for a price I can deal with. I am curious if others have experienced one leg seemingly longer than the other. No matter what I did, his right leg seems slightly longer than his left, causing him to stand at an angle.

Great hauls everyone...
Found Deadpool and Boba Fett @ TRU and Target respectively, and Deathstroke/Arrow 2 pack @ Hastings.com and the unmasked Deathstroke I had found two a while back so I opened one to do the Deathstroke Multiplicity… And the Wolf, Mike and Jason... I had them already but they wanted to wish you all a Happy Halloween... Haha |

She is pretty cool except for one MAJOR frustrating factor, this: For those who do not know what this is, the additional hands came attached to it. It seems like a cool idea and a great way to keep them organized, except one major problem. The hole in the hands are now bigger than the actual wrist peg of the toy, so the hands spin around and are loose as hell thanks to this thing. Like I said, cool idea, piss poor execution. I hope Bandai never uses this thing again.
