That Batman.... Kinda ugly. Sometimes it's hard to catch an artist's style in plastic and make it look good.

Still working on rearranging my DCC collection after my most recent purchases.
Really hope they do more Justice League Dark figures. I need Frankenstein! Xanadu and Nightmare Nurse would be great too, but probably not likely. |

I pre-ordered the Huntress/Power Girl 2-Pack on BBTS and I was really disappointed when it showed up. Huntress looked okay, but the Power Girl figure was really messed up. For some reason DCC decided to paint PG's cape even though it was already cast in red plastic. There was a ton of paint rub on her shoulders, back and even on the back of her legs and boots. I took her apart, removed the red paint from her cape, repainted the bad spots and put her back together. I also touched up their faces to make them look a little better. Here are also a few other pictures I've taken recently.

I was going to do a Halloween Photo myself. Halloween was nuts for me day started me carving pumpkins and ended me yanking a Deer Tick out of my arm. My photo was going to be Vampire Batman, Black Lanterns, Question, Negative Man, Phantom Stranger, Gentlemen Ghost, and Deadman. Anyway now comes the waiting for Doomsday Unleashed 3 weeks from Monday..

Can somebody tell me if there's any difference in the Superman Total Heroes line? I saw 2 different pictures of Superman on the top left corner of the blister pack. One was an older style look to it and the other one is newer. Also one figure has both arms down and the other has one up one down, they look the same to me but was wondering if any one notice it too.

I don't think many of us buy the total heroes figures. I'm sure it's either an Original Comic book design and New 52 design or just a different packaging design. Really the people to ask would be Mattel, but don't even try they do not answer.

I saw Steel today at Walmart. He looked cool, and while I need a Steel in my collection, I passed on him for now. One of the reasons is he has a cloth cape. EW!!! Secondly, I needed groceries more than a toy today.

I bought the original Batman for myself and I have been buying the other characters for friends' kids and they seem like they go over pretty well. They have 14 POA, they're relatively inexpensive and they seem durable enough to stand up to kids. Still wish Mattel would get their act together and bring back DCUC. I don't think there is a difference between the figures. There are several package variations with Superman, Flash and Aquaman, but I think the figures are all the same. Same goes for the 3-pack with Lex. As far as I can tell, there aren't any Supes variants.

You wont see DCUC stuff return until at least 2016. Not that I do not think Mattel will listen to us. I think it will be after that time that everything will be cleaned up from Scott Neitlich and the MOTUC line will be done.
As we have seen this year has been terrible for Mattel. All of the first Three Quarters showed over 100 million Dollar loss and there is no way they can recoup that in the last Quarter (at least not to the level they will need). Meanwhile their Direct Competitors Hasbro and Lego have gone continually up for the same time periods or remained steady.

Out of curiosity, does anyone here have the Total Heroes Mr. Freeze? If so, would you be willing to take a photo of it next to the Batman Legacy Mr? Freeze? (or any of that mold's previous uses).
As for DCUC, I have a hard time seeing Mattel ever bringing that style of figure back. Though if they ever did, and at retail, I would like to see them mostly stick to modern comic and movie designs.

I have thought about buying that Mr Freeze and TH Steel, but every time I have them in hand heading toward the checkout lane, I change my mind.
If they ever bring the DCUC style back, they need to finish the god damn New Teen Titans in their original designs and give us a classic Mera and a Vandal Savage!!!

I'm really beginning to wonder whether or not the Wonder Woman figure is still in the works. It's not an amazing looking figure, but it would be great to see some diversity with the bucks used for this line, and I don't see them doing any other female figures before getting WW out. I'm curious to see who else they use the base sculpt of Steel for. The main buck has been used numerous times, and the body for Freeze has been used for three figures now. Cyborg Superman certainley comes to mind, but that's about it.

One of my problems with Steel is the cloth cape.

I wish they could have just given us a standard Mr Freeze figure. Both of those suck. The DCU one is superior but that giant ass pack really takes away from the figure. The other one has way too much bulky armor.

It's not everyone's cup of tea, but I like the cloth capes on these guys.

My only problem with Superpowers Mr. Freeze (Batman Legacy, Blue, Pink, and White) is that the Gun and Back thing are attached to the figure even if you take them off the Hoses are still connected to the figure.

Yeah, that was stupid. I would rather they had been able to be detached.

wow the world is coming to an end Dr. Kain and I agree on something kidding. The Doomsday Unleashed review by Pixel Dan is up at Youtube. Sound like a Solid figure but the Joints are loose yet again. I don't know whats going on at Mattel but this has been a disease as of late. Bound Doomsday the leg joint is so loose itms hard to keep him up right at times.. Other wise I cant wait for 11 days to get my order in (11 figures down only 2 to go)
