That's why I'm saying it's my OCD cause on the wolverine and the iron man there are no difference at all but the $8 sticker, on the cap and thor on the other hand is the light blue color and the hammer of course.

The Omega Red thing could be just a factory error where they forgot to paint that part?
That Wolverine was peg warming hard here. No one seemed to like that costume. |

Yes, It could be an error but Kylactus says that others have noticed it so there must be several figures out there like it and that makes it a packing error variant.

I took some pics with my crappy camera, but the bubble reflected to much to see any detail, I'll take some tomorrow with the good camera. It doesn't look unpainted, just a flatter, lighter, non metallic grey. to tell you the truth before I met Raf I probably wouldn't have noticed it. He's got me looking for variants everywhere! I feel like I'm developing MU PTSD.

your the one who got me writing down, and following production number code stamps! my collection room looks like a skits frantic numerologist is trying to predict the future in there! I've got sheets of hand written pro codes, and other sheets where I've been looking for patterns in the pro codes to determine where a variant may exist! Hasbro must have a master list out there right? WE NEED THIS!

Started another army to build..... working on Gollum (3.75" figure from The Hobbit) for Mole Man's very own Moloids and other creatures from Subterranea. Still need a Mole Man, but just got a single Gollum and that is my new focus now. I too am OCD but mine is geared to army building. Hope to get to 15 by springtime! I traded SHIELD agents from the TRU 3 pacl and Blade for a custom BIG-ASS Giganto.... time to start building!!

Was wondering about a Hulkbuster.... is the IM2 too small? Is the the ML one too big? Anyone have any pics? I don't have one and am thinking now I need one, after the trailers of AoU.
One last thing.... anyone have any Chitauri Cosmic Chariots they could let go? I need a couple more to build our diorama. My son wont met me be about it after seeing K-Dubs wonderous creation. My son now say " three point sevan fa-EYE-ve" now like K-Dub with his southern draw. Funny coming out of a lad with a proper Northern English accent!! Loved your layout K-Dub... maybe paint a scene on the wall behind it??? Best home brew setup of a Marvel diorama I have ever laid eyes on. Anyway, I have NEVER EVER EVER seen a fish incorporated into a dio before! We even have an empty fish tank that I have tried to sell three times on local sites....Tiger Shark v Namor maybe? oh yeah..... you guys with your matte finishes and prodo numbers and hand written notes are flipping mental. Absolute nutters... and I love that about you guys.

I think the IM2 is going to be a little small unless you put him against the Avengers line Hulk, since he's not that big either.

I think the IM2 Hulkbuster is awesome. I don't know if a Fully Suited Tony Stark would fit in there, but I really do love it. I think the Legends one would too big as it is bulky for a 6 inch figure so I'm sure it would be too large for 3.7 F-eye-ve, LOL.

I took the grails out of their protective cases to take some better pics... They're beautiful! IMO
Also, I know we always refer to this Luke Cage as White Tank Top but now that I see it in person (I forgot to mention this when I first got them), the tank top is actually a beige/yellowish color. I don't think you can see it on the pics but trust me on this, Lol... |

Thanks Raf, now put those Grails back in their Plastic Prisons. What if they fall over and dog ear a corner!!!!
I have no idea what was paid for those and to be honest I don't think I want to know. Something I would like to know is how many of them actually exist. I wonder if some of the hasbro people that originally had these might have given them to thier kids to play with or even grandkids. Regardless of the value we give them you know to someone out there that is just the toy they play with and may have no idea that it was a production sample. Also you would know this better than me, have you ever seen or heard of anymore? I am content with the regular versions of these figures, but it would be really cool to know if you had the only ones that exist wouldn't it?!? |

Damn those are beautiful! I'd be afraid to touch them! you should have a case made with bullet proof museum glass and non UV lighting, and those thousand year air seals! make sure that after civilization falls the next people to emerge will find these safely in the rubble.

everybody back off on Luke! Dude sweats a lot, but hell look at his job, Thunderbolt, Avenger, freelance crime fighter, and a new baby! so what if he can't always get his whites whiter. That's probably why he usually wears a black tank top.

Black Widow on the other hand I doubt they would make those. Could you get pics of the sides of those Black Widows to show off the hair? |

Yeah that Thor hammer looks awesome! I only saw the MU figures briefly at the family dollar stores here, they never returned and if they did they probably sold out quick.
