I just got the Hot Wheels HD Fat Boy last week at a Target, it was neat since I didn't know they even made HD bikes as regular carded vehicles. It always seems like they do Ducatis or their own designs.

I just got a black pauldron sandtrooper (much like Trivial Pyschic above), but I also found the Target exclusive shadow squadron set and a Transformers generations voyager Sky Byte. There is a nice chunk of my Christmas stuff already.
Edit: took a neat picture of the sandtrooper in front of a movie still and added an effect to make it look like he's in the scene.

picked up TAS batman today.. i'm absolutely going to love this line.. these figures are so unbelievably accurate, it's truly incredible. and i love how they're releasing them.
besides the transformers masterpiece line, this'll definitely end up being my second favorite toy line.. ever, not just currently running. |

Yeah, I'm that guy this week. I called dibs :-P But it is so hard to not package grope for these guys when they have fresh cases. Plus scalpers are really putting the screws to people who want to do a little troop building on these, charging 15$-20$ for one.
also got the TRU exclusive Rockett with baby Groot Lego |

I got an Elder Predator V2 through the Toys R Us website. Just need to get the Enforcer to complete series 12.

If it weren't for the glaring absence of a Galen Marek figure among my Star Wars collection, I probably would have passed on this guy.
I never saw the Vintage Collection version of him (and I'm still annoyed by that, lol), but I certainly believe all of the reviews that I've read that claim that that version is FAR superior to the re-released one, largely due to the shoddy QC and sloppy paint that seem to be common on this version. While I was lucky enough to spot four Starkillers on the pegs at my local TRU, none of them had what I would consider to be a good paint job. I grabbed one that had tolerable blemishes that could easily be fixed. I'm glad to finally have a Starkiller, but frankly, I wish I had picked up one of the earlier versions of him. EDIT: A couple of dabs of paint around his collar cleared up the over-spray issue, and when he's in his armor, that area is covered anyways, so crisis averted. Overall, not a bad figure, for anyone else who still needs/wants him, but again, if you already have Starkiller, this version is definitely an easy pass. I got the SH Figuarts couch that was made for Iron Man but it is now seating 5 Sailor Scouts. I'm thinking of getting 1 or 2 more so everybody fits better. It's a great piece and I paid about $18 for it. No regrets.

I found the whole set of the Marvel Legends Infinite Series Guardians Of The Galaxy figures today at my local Wal-Mart. I also had an incident occur over this purchase:
Star Lord Iron Man Drax Gamora Rocket Raccoon Nova And now for the aforementioned incident: In addition to the Guardians figures, I found some new Arkham 3.75 inch figures: Arkham Origins Joker, Harley Quinn, Batman and Black Mask. Wow, I thought to myself, I didn’t know these had come out. Since we don’t get new stuff very often in my area I put the four new Arkham figures in my cart along with the Guardians and headed for checkout. The Guardians rang up just fine, however the Arkham figures all came up item not found. The cashier was clueless as to how to proceed (perhaps it was a new or seasonal employee) so she put on her flashing register light to summon a manager. The manager came over, saw what I had and suspended the transaction. The manager then took all the Arkham figures and then went over to the customer service desk with them, using a computer to do something, what exactly it was is a mystery. After a few minutes the manager came back to the register and I was informed that the Batman figures should not have been out on the shelf and that I couldn’t buy them. I asked why and was told they’re part of a Black Friday event. So I asked if I could at least put them on layaway since I’d already gotten them from the toy section and was told absolutely not, you (emphasis on the word you) can’t have these figures at all. I had already been having a rotten day so at that point I hit the ceiling. I not so nicely said that using Black Friday as a reason to not sell these figures to me was the dumbest g-damn excuse I ever heard and that if your employees don’t know what products to put out on the shelves then you (and I echoed the emphasis on the word you) being the manager need to take your thumb out of your ass and start doing your job to make sure that your employees know when to put out the correct products on the shelves at the correct time. At that point the cashier was backing away from the register along with the next customer in line behind me. The manager then told the cashier to finish my transaction as quickly as you can and then walked away with the Arkham figures towards the back of the store where the toy section was located. The cashier then dumbly asked if I still wanted the Guardians figures. I told her yeah, I walked up here with them to buy didn’t I? She finished the transaction and I left. Anyway, before the Arkham figures were seized from me, I wanted to share my observations of them with everyone: many of the Joker and Harley figures both seem to have derpy eyes, and some of the Harley figures also have a defect where a blonde lock of hair can obscure about a quarter of her face. It might be fixable with a hair dryer but I won’t know until I get one in hand at a future date. Batman once again has a cloth cape, same buck as Arkham City Batman with some minor detailing differences on the costume. Black Mask appeared to be using the same buck as Two-Face and comes with a gun and an alternate head sculpt. Harley comes with her over-sized mallet. There were plenty of Jokers, a few Harleys and Batman’s, but only one Black Mask. So I’m guessing Black Mask is going to be the hard one to find.

Holy shit what has Wal Mart come to?! They wouldn't let you buy them because they're saving them! Do they seriously not want your money?! Are they so feckin' dumb that they forget being a store and doing business means selling products to interested customers. Does that mean if you used the self check out you could have just put them in a bag with the Guardians and left with free toys?

I found a misprint that I can't find the value on. I was at Barnes and Noble at was going to buy the back to the future action figure. I found a misprint that said Marty Mcfly but had Doc Brown in the package. I haven't heard of anyone having this. Where can I find the value of this?

This is probably everywhere, My Walmart had them too.
Joker looks pretty bad. I always have issues with Walmart putting things out in error and then making me look like a jerk for wanting to buy them. One time when they did that to me, I walked a manager back to the toy isle and made them take everything off of the shelf. I know it seems childish, my wife would totally agree, but WE should not be paying the price for their mistakes. Just because it isn't in their magic computer does not mean they can't sell it. That computer is only for inventory, not for sales, they can easily enter the info and sell it with no problem... But most of them are moron jerkanapes. (not everyone, just most) Quote:
you should've told the witch to grab the ad and show you this "black friday deal". i can't seem to find anything about those multi verse figures being on sale.

also, quick hint... If you are looking for DVDs or games on black Friday sales- avoid the lines and go right to electronics. For the last three years I have done this and found all of the same DVDs/games and they all ring up the right price. No waiting in line.
