It apparently is an anonymous source. They announced it on the Kickstarter chain that they would match up to $20K in pledges (which is when the Kickstarter hits $220,575 which looks like today).

I am positive they WILL hit the 300k dollar mark and we will FINALLY have a (decent) skeleton in our beloved three and three quarter inch figures!

Hmmmm..... I might do. What did you have in mind...... I just think more people are waiting and or will kick in towards the end. I myself WILL be kicking in but have to do so.... waiting until last day. I have help fund three kicks before and waited as do several others. I just like watching it jump in the final hours.

Now, onto why I could ultimately be wrong here. I did not account for the $20,000 anonymous donor. Apparently the jump from $222 to $232 was half the pledge (bc Kickstarter has a 10K limit). Apparently the other half is going direct so if you look they dropped the remain Locked items by $10,000 each. So now Skeletons are $290K. This makes the skeletons much closer to attainable in the final 3 days, it will still be close, maybe even a stretch, but not as far out as before. The real question is if there will in fact be a strong surge like Marauder had. It would have to be huge as it is still $58K out for skeletons and that equates to 19-20K a day.

I'm really excited for these figures. I'm in for the set of four figures, King Leonidas and the Amazon Warrior. These figures look fantastic. If I can get some more cash, I will try and buy some more.

Romans would have never let a woman join the Legion, either.
EDIT: I do find it rather amusing that the image depicted on her shield is based on a tondo called "Fleeing Amazon."

that is breathtaking.
my only concern is how top heavy she could be. that hair piece looks like it uses almost as much material as the rest of the figures. I have faith, bossfight. |

Wow. I don't go for this scale ordinarily, but might splurge just because they look very, very good. The snake tail is quite brilliant. (Would like to see it applied under a certain favourite sci-fi licence from the 80s that appears to be completely stalled but which has a character for which it would be perfectly suited.) HOPE THE TAIL DESIGN IS COPYRIGHTED...
