Remember the Transformers: Age Of Extinction "For Your Consideration" site by Paramount?
Well, it so happens that the site has posted the full recording session of the Transformers 4 Score by Steve Jablonsky. There is a total of 82 tracks where some of them were used for the retail version of the Score and the Extended Play. The tracks are unaltered from the version we heard on the movie. The site even has tracks not released previously to the public as well. The tracks are available to listen online for free or to download. For the full list of tracks, take a look... after the jump. |

For those anticipating the release of the Human Alliance two pack featuring Barricade and Soundwave, we've just found our first in-hand images of the figures. Our first source of images comes from an eBay listing by seller 88powerpig88, while we also have more detailed images coming from a snakas.blog post. The images show off both figures and the Frenzy boombox exclusive piece, but also confirms there is no premium paint job added to this set.
Be sure to check out our site sponsors for ordering information as this set is set to be released shortly! |

TFW2005 boards member SideSwipe75 has come to us tonight with a very interesting observation from the newly-updated Transformers brand app, from the Fan Built Combiner options to choose from the body and weapon, possibly giving us our first look at the heavily-rumored Combiner Wars Protectobots Hot Spot and Groove!
Check it out after the break, and stay tuned to TFW as we bring you all the news leading up to Toy Fair where all of the Protectobots and Defensor himself will hopefully be revealed! |

The Transformers: Age of Extinction app has just been updated into the official Transformers brand app, bringing the it up to date with a Generations theme, focusing mainly on Combiner Wars. In addition to possibly giving us our first look at Protectobots Hot Spot and Groove, the update also includes new missions and information on Generations and Robots in Disguise toys.
Most notably, though, is that the first round of Fan Built Combiner voting is now live! This round will last for one week, and after that, the results will be shared and a new round will open. Be sure to download it, check out all the new features, and get your votes in here: iOS: Transformers Official App Android: Transformers Official App |

Sharp eyed board member iOnlyEatEnergon noticed that 3A has released their Dark of the Moon Megatron Lookbook, which includes some teaser images of their upcoming Dark of the Moon Optimus Prime figure.
3A creates highly detailed and incredibly articulated action figures based on the Dark of the Moon movie characters. Optimus was originally scheduled for reveal in January and looks to be completed, so look for a product announcement soon. |

TFW2005 boards member griffin-of-oz has brought something interesting to our attention today - Bidoofdude of Ozformers.com reportedly wrote to Hasbro asking if Generations Legends Gnaw with Gnash and Brawn with Mudslinger would still be released. We had last heard of these figures before via leaked listings, but we haven't heard of them since, leading to some speculation that they may have been cancelled. However, Hasbro responded that they are indeed still planned to come out, and will be released some time in 2015, likely as part of the Combiner Wars line-up.
You can read the exchange below: I've noticed that the Generations Legends Class figures for this year skip numbers #11 through #17. Is there a reason for this? Is it related to the listed Legends Brawn with Mudslinger and Gnaw with Gnash that seemingly didn't happen? Could we be seeing Brawn (and less importantly, Gnaw) as a Legends figure in the Combiner Wars toyline in the coming year, as he is the only 1984 minibot without a figure yet? To which Hasbro responded with: There are plans for the distribution of these characters in 2015, unfortunately I do not have an exact date of arrival. Take this with a grain of salt for now, but if true, we could very likely be seeing these figures at the rapidly-approaching New York Toy Fair. |

The third party group BadCube just seems to be on a roll these days and have no intentions of slowing down. Revealed a little earlier today on their Facebook page is yet another project entry in their Old Timer Series, this time showing off prototype images of their Insecticon homages of Claymore, Hypno, and Kickbutt! These figures look to continue the Masterpiece styled trend of figures BadCube seems to be hitting their stride with.
No release date or preorder info is up just yet, but keep it locked here and we'll update you when that becomes available. Sound off after the jump! |

The Maketoys website updated earlier this morning to announce a new line of transforming robots: The RE:MASTER SERIES. This line is being speculated by our members as being a fit into the current line of Masterpiece styled Transformers, a trend that is taking the third party collecting world by storm. From Maketoys:
"Re:master " , in a time where scale is everything.....Re:master is a new series to bring a new twist, new gimmicks, and maybe even a new scale to the world of transforming robots. An instant classic to an already bright and vibrant world of robots, we hope Re:master will have a place in everyone's hearts......and on their shelves! No physical prototypes are available yet, but Maketoys showed off three blacked out silhouettes, and although we all would love to see a product shown off in full for the reveal this news is still exciting enough given the characters announced: RM-01 Cupola (Chromedome), RM-02 Gun Dog (Hound), RM-03 Hellfire (Inferno). Click on the individual links to take you to TFW's discussion thread of each figure. So what do you think of Maketoys apparent entrance into Masterpiece scaled third party figures? Excited for the characters? Let us know what you think! |

Following the success of the first Michael Bay Live Action Transformers Movie back in 2007, Hasbro worked with movie studios around the world to bring your childhood toys into the big-screen. From toys such as G. I. Joe to board games like Battleship and Ouija, Hasbro is a live action movie machine with more live action movies such as Jem And The Holograms and Candyland down the pipeline.
It so happens that TFW2005 has stumbled upon another possible live action movie and a toyline from Hasbro. Once rivals of the Transformers Franchise (1984), Gobots became the property of Hasbro when they acquired Tonka; the original creators of Gobots. On January 21st and on January 24th, Hasbro has applied for a new Go-Bots trademark (this is not a renewal) under "distribution of motion pictures, ongoing television programs" and "Toys, games and playthings, namely, toy vehicles and accessories for use therewith". You can check out the Trademark documents from the United States Patent & Trademark Office here and here. |

We've got a sighting of more hot new toys from the new Robots in Disguise series for you! The second assortment of Warriors has begun to appear at US retail. TFW2005 member Sioce spotted Optimus Prime at a Target in Temecula, CA. We've not got confirmation on a sighting of Drift, but it's safe to say that Drift should also be out in the wild, given the pair are shipping together as the two new figures in Warrior Wave 2. A big thanks to Sioce for the sighting and Silvershot for flagging it up with us!

eBay seller lena81822 has put up an auction for a loose Lio Convoy figure, our first look at the Transformers Collector's Club free membership figure of 2015. Although this figure is not officially released yet to the masses and changes to the figure could occur, it's worth pointing out that this is also our first look at a modified head sculpt, which is different from the promotional images we first saw back in July 2014.
How close to a final figure do you believe this is? How about that head sculpt? Sound off with the discussion link below! |

Let's continue the Transformers Collector's Club news with some more in-hand images of upcoming figures, this time from the third installment of the Transformers Subscription Service. Once again the eBay seller lena81822 has put up an auction for a loose Carzap figure. Also, TFW2005 boards member cobra zartan has linked us to even more images of both Carzap (who we see packaged in plastic bags) and Krok! We can't be absolutely sure if these are final, but if history repeats itself these are likely what fans will be receiving.
Are these going to be the first two figures released for TFSS 3.0? Stay tuned! |
