Stopped by Target on my way to work and picked up Cloak and Dagger. Disappointed to see my store jacked the price up to 13.99 too, I thought I hadn't been hit by it because Toys R Us still has the Infinite Series at 9.99

I got my Beast wave in today. I'm really liking it, but Spidey as well as the Sandmanseseses' torsos are pretty loose.
Two quick questions: 1. Is the DareDevil in this wave a literal repack, or a redeco/paint/wash? I only have first appearance, leather daddy, and Shadowland DD and so I can't really tell. 2. All of the packaging for the Hawkeye says it's just Hawkeye... but it's Darkeye, isn't it? I haven't had an opportunity to check my own but I'm pretty sure it's the same fig. I still haven't seen wave 1 of these yet. Every store still has the Avengers Assemble ones.

^ Oh man I still don't have mine. I guess I should not have used super saver shipping.
I may pick up some of those 2.5" figures. Based on the movie poster Fury would be in scale with my MU stuff. Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron movie poster | Marvel.com |

Why on every piece of promo art does Hulk look like he is constipated with the stupid grimice he is doing? i haven't seen anything else where he looking different, why couldn't they do something with half roaring or something? I'm gutted because i love Hulk and all what Marvel has done/is doing with the movies but i really hate what they have done with Hulk in these Avengers movies, I wish they would have stuck with the look from The Incredible Hulk movie, just my opinion
I joke, but really, what have they done with Hulk that you hate? I'm glad he doesn't talk like in EMH or the comics, because then the films wouldn't need Banner at all, like in EMH. The IH movie version had too much hair and the face showed no emotion but the anger they'd copy and pasted to each shot. As for the grimace, everyone's having a grimace in those posters, especially Stark. |

I'm just wondering where falcon and war machine are? They are in the 2.5" lines packaging, and WM is one of the 2.5" figures. Maybe they can only show 1 brotha at a time, or maybe they aren't in the movie much.

Come to think of it, Rhodey and Falcon - the black sidekicks - in the comics take over the Iron Man & Captain America mantels so who knows where the MCU is going Last edited by jedirulz123; 02-28-2015 at 09:17 AM.. |

Fury, Rhodey & Falcon are only cameos, but the lack of a black Avenger will be addressed by Infinity War when Black Panther joins.

I'm actually okay with that. Not because I dislike Evans or anyting but because Stan just killed it in Winter Soldier.

From what I heard it wasn't a contract thing... Evans just wanted to straight up retire from acting. A shame, if so, because I feel he gets better in every film I see him in.

That was an off the cuff remark and he wasn't serious. Is clarified like a day later. He just wants to do other things and have time to direct. He said he won't likely ever stop acting. Maybe he gets a couple years off while we get Bucky Cap and then he comes back or something.

Steve will always be captain America, sure they change it up every once and a while (anyone remember Nomad?) but ultimately every one of the "main" characters in the Marvel Universe return to basics after a bit. I don't know if different writers want to put there own stamp on the title, or they think it keeps things fresh to change the character completely, or there attempting to "diversify" in the most asinine way possible (lady Thor, Hispanic/black Spidey, falcon-cap). but at the end of the day Peter Parker is Spider Man, Thor... well ain't it obvious is the Odin SON, and Steve Rodgers is Captain America, Unless The marvel Cinematic universe starts putting out more films (like 10-12 a year) I don't see them being able to condense long view death, replacement, and complicated rebirth story lines easily. I personally hate when someone takes up the mantel of a mainstay figure. I think it's just lazy writing and it takes away from legitimate character development (like in the case of Falcon) Ok Cap's down and Falcon needs to pick up the slack, fine but just changing the wing suit to red and blue makes you Cap now? no you're American Falcon at best! or hell they could have tied the patriot thing in with The Eagle!

I have to agree there. The lady Thor thing is something I still don't really get or agree with.
I definitely don't want to see Evans leave the MCU and I think he's a good actor but if he does then there's not much we can do (Marvel/Disney could always dump truckloads of money on his lawn though) and if they go with Stan as Bucky Cap like I said I'm okay with it because he rocked Winter Soldier and they can always find a way to bring Evans back in if he wants to. Like it was said they do it all the time in comics. |

BBTS has the new wave up. I bit the bullet. 134$ for the set of 9. was going to get a case but I don't need an extra Sand man, or one of those pud-fugly Big time spideys.
