I picked up the Marvel Select Anti-Venom at my lcs today. This should make a nice display piece to go alongside the Marvel Select Deadpool I picked up last week.

Thanks for the heads up... Though it will probably be out at retail before it ships from BBTS.

Four point crouch with new Spidey is real with some modification. Sorry, I know I posted this before, but I thought it'd be helpful for others doing this mod to see how things look painted up and in comparison to the stock figure. Hope to see others do this, as it helps make the stock Spidey figure a lot more playable.
*last note: ultimately I ended up using a combo of the Superior Spidey pelvis and stock blue hips from the factory figure to avoid paint rub issues (photos are of repainted pelvis and Superior hips). The stock hips need to be dremeled down and slotted deeper to increase movement with the more spacious Superior pelvis. I'll be happy to provide some tips via pm for anyone that wants to try this out. =) Last edited by ultraman zoffy; 03-02-2015 at 11:02 AM.. |

Very cool ultraman zoffy! It looks great! I wish I had the nerve to modify my stuff like that haha. I would end up with a bunch of half broken fodder.

Let me know if you ever want to attempt it! I'll be happy to help you out via pm. It mostly just involves basic techniques, so I kind of don't want to bother with a tutorial.

Yeah, I need to try that. I didn't realize how crappy the legs were until I just opened mine. Mine is also really floppy in the legs =/

@marvelmando
I'm glad you liked it. Thanks! @Phantomcrow The fire-effects work with many things and characters. I purchased 2 of the red and blue effects for the ideas that I have in mind, but finding the time to set up my concepts is hard... Last edited by TheBlueMarvel; 03-02-2015 at 10:33 PM.. pre-ordered Hellcat, missed the boat on spider-woman. If anyone sees her up elsewhere let me know.

for feet the old McFarlane stands work MOST of the time but they're out of production. I assume the NECA ones are too large but I haven't tried them. |
