I picked up the Batman vs. Clayface set. Still no luck in finding the Nightwing vs. Killer Croc set.

Thank you for the kind words and you're welcome Kirathis. I was on the fence about Spidey as well, being that I literally have like 20 other Spideys already, not to mention that I didn't care for the shiny paint that the figure seemed to have when I first saw the images of him start to pop up online.
The figure still has a bit of sheen, but nowhere near what previous photos showed, and while the webs are not sculpted onto the figure, the line work is really clean, bright and vibrant. The extra hands, in particular the wall crawling hands are really amazing, and a lot of the issues I had with the ASM2 Spidey are gone (such as his wierd looking feet and tiny hands.) He can't dangle his arms close to his side unfortunately, but really...who poses Spidey just standing there? My favorite part of the figure though...that smiling head. It brings a lot of life to the figure that hasn't been there with previous Spideys. Here's a few pics I did goofing around with him tonight. It might not be Valentine's day anymore, and I'm no Advocate Pinoy...but it was fun to mess around with him and Felicia. And please...ignore my dusty X-Box...lol. And in doing these...it makes me realize how badly I want a Mary Jane or Gwen Stacy. In my humble opinion, Hasbro hit this Spidey out of the park.

I finally buckled and picked up two Mashers... Deadpool and Wolvie in the old school brown 'n tan. Maybe I was sorta amused that there'd be a merc with a mouth aimed at little kids, or maybe they just look like fun... still haven't opened them yet, not sure I'll hang on to them - anybody else given this a try?

My local Walmarts have been HORRIBLE since Christmas...but my local Targets have been even worse. Either they have no product what so ever, or no one is working the aisles, because they look like they have been looted and plundered. The only thing being stocked is Ninja Turtle Mutations, and that's about it. At least my local TRU is keeping up.

I picked up the Marvel Select Anti-Venom at my new lcs today.
I had a chance to compare both the Marvel Legends Infinite Anti-Venom to this one while I was at the store. The Marvel Select version just looked more ominous to me and had better detailing on it plus the base it comes with looks good too.

Grabbed me a sweet new Jason Voorhees tee, as well as Combiner Wars Black Jack, the new ML Daredevil and first appearance Baroness at a local toy show today. Was bummed a bit when the seller who sold me Black Jack told me that I missed out on Motormaster by a few minutes, but at least I know he's out there now!
Also...500th post! Whoo hoo! |

Alittle late but how cool is this??
The wife-unit for Valentine's Day made this awesoke Toku card along with a Superman card! She also made a special dinner, Dino Curry! What exactly makes it Dino Curry? The fact that we're both Abaranger fans and she made it with a ton of Dino Guts! Finally, my Valentine's Day present: Took all of my strength not to explode and Crappoopie myself when I found out she was getting me all this. |

YAY....done with Gothitropolis...for now. Of course my tastes for the line revolved around three of the rarer Scarabus figs...oh, and toxin just for the shits and giggles...
