I love your Doom set up brother!!!!! Looks nice with 10 around him, think that is what I will build to. Cheers for the inspiration!!! I like those T-800 figures a lot, I want some now. Think I will try to work them into an AIM team somehow.
The sucks about Beast being total shite. I figured (pun) as much though. You got a hell of a deal there though Ultra at a tenner all in. Everyone else is paying $13-$15 for retail and Amazon. What a state we are in boys. Also I hear from several people the Sandman is one wobbly bastard! Torso to ab joint is looser than Miley Cyrus at a chicken wing convention......greasy. |

I can't wait for bishop to arrive. My son picked out wolverine and the xmen cartoon from the library, I did not realize how good that cartoon was. My son is addicted to minecraft and built an underground lab like beast, glad he is into xmen now and not just bruce Wayne lol.

Wolverine and the X-Men is probably my favorite cartoon of all time. Even now I'm pissed they canceled it when they did. Season 2 was going to be soooo good.

So I gave up on trying to get the actual Maria Hill figure and found a seller on Ebay who does custom heads..does a excellent paint job..So here is my Maria Hill I went with a more realistic look to stand next to Fury

Removing Beast's head revealed that Hasbro pretty much only have him a peg for his head to move around on, which explains why he only has neck cut swivel rom out of the box. Anyone picking up Beast needs to be ready to beef that peg up into an actual ball and dremel his head out; without that, your Beast will be constantly looking down in a strange open mouthed melancholy manner, killing any poses you try squeezing out of it.

Finally got around to lighting up my Shield Bunker. Also all the gripes about the future of our line are completely valid. I have 2 or three MU Absorbing Men that were extremely loose, so I'm not mad at MI for that one. That was just the case with that buck in my opinion. But not having ball jointed necks!!! Come on. Plus I'm starting to hate the solid upper torso more and more. I will still pick up all properly articulated figures that were set to release under MU, but I'm still not completely sold on paying $13 a pop for less valued figures. |

UGH I know. I actually yelled "OH SH#T!!!!!!" at my TV when I saw that ending the first time.
Good show but not enough X-Men. I liked that the Super-Skrulls had their powers though. Nice little nod/tease. |

Exactly! Most of my collection is made up of characters I saw in that show, plus the movies. The series ended with a solid ending though, not like W&TXM, which is a damn shame because that universe, in my opinion, was better than the movieverse.
EMH & W&TXM should be the basis for the movies, closer to the comics changing just enough to keep it interesting. Shame we never got a toyline for EMH, or any females in the X-men line, otherwise we'd have Wasp and Emma, and years ago at that |

I agree. The setup looks good K-dub. It must be a pain in the ARSE to dust your setup..Mine drives me nuts and is noway as elaborate. I removed stuff two days ago to dust, dont remember how i had it so i got figure layin around looking sad cause i cant figure out how i fit them in the first damn place lol
I know I probably should bust out a can of compressed air and clean things up, but one of the luxuries of creating "realistic" terrain is that the texture kind of hides the dust and debris pretty well. I have had this setup for a little under a year and the dust is far less noticable as when it was set up on my mantle. I think it really is just a difference of Gloss vs. Matte since everything is less shiny you don't see the dust as bad (My lazy rationale) |

Found Bishop at the Disney store!
I reckon he's gonna be the Wasp of this wave in terms of being difficult to find. Bit of a landmark moment in my collection though, in 2009 I made a list of all the characters that I wanted and they have all been ticked off. Sadly additional names have been added to the list since........ I echo the comments on EMH and Wolverine and the X-Men being cut down in their prime, Avengers Assemble and Agens of Smash are just a complete load of bollocks in comparison.

EMH on the other hand was out the door from the get go when Avengers Assemble was ready. EMH had a lot of problems that many tend to ignore. Like how Ms. Marvel could take a direct punch from hulk without a scratch, but a small piece of debris while flying a ship? That knocks her out. The list can go on, but EMH was kind of back and forth about how it treated its female characters. Most not so well at all. To the point of breaking even toon logic as mentioned above. These new figures seem to be lacking in their body sculpting, there's less definition than the older figures - I think of Bishop as being a muscley character and he's really quite smooth. The scarf and bands going around his arms are one piece, and yes, removable. If I had a good Bishop custom I'd be tempted to stick the head from this one on it. But damn it, I'm glad just to get the character at this stage! Quote:

I thought she acted too much like an annoying little sister in EMH.
