depends, there are certain ones like Vision, Havok, blade, Mrs. Marvel, and a few others you'd do better selling off individually. how many figures are you talking? 20, would be a decent lot that you could probably get a fair price for, 150 you'll get screwed because the price to recoup would be more than the average collector will shell out. do you have pics?

I don't have exact numbers but it's definatly around the hundred figure mark not including the larger figure releases like the mid sized guys and galactus/sentinel.
Maybe I should just group them in logical team of 20's mane sell them in smaller batches? I have no idea what rare figures I do or don't have atm becuase I have them stored in a layered storage container that obscures the everything but the top layer. once you start in to the layers you start making putting them all back in a nightmare of a chore that I haven't had time to get in to as of yet. I do see cable with baby hope sitting on top which I remeber being slightly hard to come by at the time. I have honeslty been out of serious 3.75 collecting so long that I dont remeber the chase figures vs the as common as air. I honestly don't really care if I get top dollar for any of it, I just want to clear up some space and get a little return to fund some other lines I still collect |

my recommendation would be to take pics, put em up here (I know we've got a few guys here that are just starting out and are looking for older stock) and whatever doesn't sell group into lots and ebay them.
so, during the lull, and because of Hasbro's crappy distro I've been going back to the 80's, to the roots of the 3.75" Marvel lifestyle, and getting some Secret Wars figures. I've managed to get a black claw Wolverine, and most of the guys I had when I was a kid. I'm wondering of my UK friends here, how common are ice man and electro on your side of the pond? I know there crazy stupid expensive here, but I picture bins full of them at London flea markets... or Rubbish sales... or Boot sales. what ever the hell you guys call your weekend garbage swaps. |

I was just looking at the new star Wars troopers that are an homage to marvel (namely the Doom trooper and Thor trooper) and it got me thinking now that Disney owns both properties and Marvel published the classic Star Wars comics back in the day, and Disney is a pure merchandise whore, what do you guys think the chances are of us getting some SW/MI comic 2 packs with sculpts representing there comic looks and coloring like we got with GI joe. would you guys dig this idea, and would you put them in continuity with your MU/MI stuff? really it's the only character representations we haven't seen yet from SW, and with the new films coming out it's time for something fresh. I haven't gotten any SW stuff in years, but I'd probably jump on this, especially if they packaged, and marketed heavily toward the Marvel side of it.

The writers for TCW were geeking out over the release of The Avengers, so they loosely (very) based Thorn on Thor. Only notable reference is the name having Thor, and the wings on his helmet look like they could be Classic Cap's or Thor's. That's at least all I see in it. Doom does look like Dr. Doom though.

En Sabah is right. Someone from India and Pakistan is the common term for Asian here in Britain. Even on government forms, a person of East Asia decent is simply known as Chinese British even if they are from Japan or Korea. In non official documents the term "oriental" is used as a blanket word to not offend. Seems backwards to me but hey, what do I know. But yeah, I agree with you Kernal.
So Sir Ben is of Asian British heritage. But yeah, the could not have used someone from China as that is now 30% of the cinema market so all studios now shy away from Chinese villains. Also, they were going to use someone from the Middle East, but due to anti Muslim propaganda fear mongering, they went a different route. There are rumours that we have yet to see the last of Mandarin in the MCU and the actor cover may have been a diversion according to statements the cast and crew have said. We will see... Quote:
Ultimatum represents an alternate reality. Power scales in the Ultimate universe are different and he was using that world's Mjolnir. On a side note, Ultimatum was crap. Magneto in Earth-616 is capable of ridiculous feats of destruction and big schemes, but his ability to also be beaten by Iron Man alone keeps him from being a tier one top dog. He is a high tier two but nobody has enough iron in their blood for him to use against them without that person already being dead from excessive iron. Okay, maybe he could gather it all up in their brain and restrict blood flow thus killing them, but it would be easier and faster to find a paper clip and use that to blind a victim.
Anyone pick up any of the new loose figs (shanna, vulture, or thunderstrike) on eBay? |

It is off but not as bad as the Pic makes it look, I was surprised it is a ball jointed head. but the body does look like she needs to get a tan. |
