So the moral of the story is there will be a movie masters line hahaha....not a huge fan however until dc collectibles starts doing movie figs (hopefully soon) movie masters seems to be our best bet

I asked Mattel (Scott Neitlich) over a year ago. His reply was he could not comment at this time (normal noncommital answer). I would say yes, but this Mattel we are talking about they didn't make Talia Al Ghul for Dark Knight Rises or Signature Series General Zod when Man of Steel came out.

sorry about the double post... I'm sure we will see something though DC will want it and in reality they have the Control here. If Mattel was told by DC we expect Lines tied into Media (Movies and TV). If they do not do that then Mattel will see the rights go away. I cannot see Chris Sinclair allowing that to happen when he wants the company to move forward allowing more rights to leave would completely Nix that

Not exactly Mattel will most definitely be doing toy lines for the upcomming movies, and there is a good chance we'll get our first look at the Batman v Superman line at SDCC, but as for what they'll do in that line? That's stil an unknown. They could continue their 6" Movie Masters stuff, or they could stick to the simpler figures. We just have to wait and see.

Have there been any reviews yet for DCC's Harley Arkham Knight figure? I forgot I had preordered her off BBTS and just got a payment notification email. I hope she is in good quality or I'm going to try to get my order canceled before they ship it.

This figure just came out this week, or yesterday apparently! I got mine at my LCS and I gotta say I'm very pleased. They really did step up the durability and aesthetic for this figure compared to the wave one figures. Most notably the pins for any of the hinge joints are hidden now, and that was one of the more common gripes about the early figures. The plastic also feels a lot more sturdy and less brittle, and none of the pose was resistant or frustrating out of the box. I will say that I prefer Two-Face's accessories a good deal more and overall I feel like this just wasn't a great episode to choose for Joker to get accessories from. He has the bubble helmet which looks ugly on him because of the plastic seam, a knife which looks like an awl (versatility!), a comb which he can't bring to his head and is also ludicrously small and probably easy to lose, a fashionable pearl necklace, and a telescope to round things out, oh and the hands. Overall I like The Joker figure a very good deal, I just wish that they would've chosen a better episode for accessories. He does size up well with my only other animated Batman figure, and now I'm even more eager to get that Phantasm two-pack. Mine didn't have any issues or break at all but I would still urge a practice of caution since it is DCC and sometimes it's not 100% across the board with their figures and breaking or not.

Best DCC figure yet!!!!!!
The plastic does not feel cheap and her articulation matches that of Mattel's.

Did yours come in through BBTS? My Scarecrow arrives this Wednesday (or so they say). I guess DCC has upgraded their plastic or something because the new animated figures also seem much tougher and more playable than the first four are.

I just rewatched "The Last Laugh" from Batman TAS, why the fuck didn't DC give the animated Joker figure a hand with the playing card throwing weapon?! They gave Two-Face a hand with his coin, but Joker gets a comb he used for two seconds and a pearl necklace which he grabbed and was on screen for maybe one second but no throwing card which he used twice in the actual fight. I still really like the figure, but DC should've used a better episode for accessories.

Apparently there were a few accessories Joker was originally planned to include but they ditched. Kind of like how at SDCC 2014 Two-Face had an alternate coin hand like he was about to flip it and the final figure only has the *caught it* hand.

After Joker, Robin, and Man-Bat, Poison Ivy will round out wave 2. Next for wave 3 is Killer Croc and Baby Doll, new adventures Robin, The Creeper, and Harley Quinn. After that in wave 4 is Penguin, original animated series Batman, Batgirl, and Riddler then wave 5 is Scarecrow, Bane, Nightwing, and Mad Hatter. We'll also be seeing Roxy Rocket as a deluxe figure and a Phantasm and Batman two pack as special releases along with an in-scale Batmobile.

I just discovered this thread (looking for DCD/DCC collections) and I love all of your pictures.
I'm starting to really like the look of DCUC and the 6" scale. How do you guys like the upcoming DC Icons line? Will they fit in with your collections or do you already have a superior alternative? |

I keep a lot of the figures I don't have room to display in a bin like that and haven't had any paint rubbing issues.
