No legal reasons, Hasbro has a full deal with Marvel which grants full access to their characters. I reckon it may be that a non-fan wouldn't be interested in his look since he isn't a very aesthetically driven character, like hardly anybody knows about Darkhawk anymore but his toy still had a selling factor because he looks cool so non-fans and even comic readers who didn't know about the character were still drawn in by his look. So far just about every "only a fan would know this character" or the even more obscure characters have been those more visually interesting characters to try and draw in more consumers, I imagine they would look at doing a Black Talon figure a decent amount before they consider a Hannibal King (whoopee a guy in a trench coat). I would have to agree though, the Beyonder's look is fairly plain and probably wouldn't have any draw factor to a non-fan and Hasbro likely wants a toy which can sell to anybody, fan or not.

That or no one wants a David Hasselhoff look alike in their collection, and they realize it.
Kidding aside I wouldn't mind having a Beyonder. |

So a while back I was asking about a sword along the lines of Dante's Rebellion from DMC that I could give to my Ghost Rider and I got the following advice...

So now I've got this going on. I guess to sum all this up THANK YOU to LapuLapu for the advise and pointing me in the right direction. Thanks for looking. Hope you all have a good one. |

^ I'm hoping to snag an ML Hulkbuster from ebay China cheap. Otherwise I'll settle for my IM2 Hulkbusters.

so I did a quick Google search and found one that's a damn near perfect match. Cut to last Friday I finally ordered this (Amazon.com: Papo Crocodile Mutant: Toys & Games) and it arrived this morning. So now I've got this going on. I guess to sum all this up THANK YOU to LapuLapu for the advise and pointing me in the right direction. Thanks for looking. Hope you all have a good one. |

our old Giantman baf. He now belongs to someone else and this is at his house. I miss that figure..... will have to wait for the new ML version shown at ToyFair this winter. Got that guy for ÂŁ7 believe it or not!!! He was complete save for a LEFT hand which i got shipped here for $20 (ÂŁ12) So all in I was into him for LESS than a large pizza at Dominoes!!! ÂŁ20 for a big pie, had him at ÂŁ19 in total. THAT will never ever happen again and I dont see paying the 100 plus tag ANYTIME soon...read-EVER, so "C'est la vie".....thats life.

The customizable options born from a good Hannibal King figure would be immense. TRENCH COATS!!!

Thanks for the insight,en Sabah nerd, another drawback would be an all white figure going yellow in direct sunlight, however he did wear a green suit in SW2.still though the thought of having marvels second most powerful character in the collection would be sweet! Quote:
Kinda looks like the nick fury body from the IM2 4 pack.....with ironman and 2 assault drones.seeing the chat about the hulkbuster armor kinda makes me glad i grabbed one of those avengers exosuits from the first movie, works pretty well.i recommend one of those. |

Kernel, why bother with the ML hulkbuster when you can grab one of these guys.and the cool thing is you can pop a 3.75" IM into the suit.for more effect.photo comparison of MU hulkbuster and avenger exosuit hulkbuster.
id also like to point out that there are a couple of parts that clip onto the suit also, like cannons and missile pods.definitely worth grabbing. |

@ Jackiboy, well the Beyonder was in the top 10 most powerful or so pre-retcon (didn't they retcon him at some point?). Regardless he's a freakishly powerful being, up there with the cosmic beings and stuff. Talking about the Beyonder now and Magneto and them before got me thinking about a character who is ludicrously powerful but rarely shows it or gets due credit: the Super Skrull. K'lrt has all of the physical superiority over a human as any Skrull does (really just shape-shifting and advanced alien knowledge) but he also has the combined powers of 4 of Earth's greatest heroes. Anything a member of the F4 can do solo he can do and some, minus Reed's inventing prowess. Just reading that on paper, he could level a city in minutes if he were unopposed. That or he could kill a lot of people simultaneously by creating small force fields in their brains and then expanding those while burning down a hospital or something. I guess it is a good thing for the heroes that K'lrt is fairly neutral and doesn't run around being an ass all the time.

I've been wanting a proper Superskrull for years. Guess I've just been too lazy to make my own.

My secret stash (not so secret anymore)... Lol
Yes, I collect all these before I get interrogated, I don't sell them and if I ever do it would be at cost believe me. I just love HULK amigos... and Vision, and oh well, you get the point. All these are extras and not part of my actual collection (those are MOC in order by number on the shelves... |
