Yes...yes you did. HAHA I love the green Prime in the first pic. Also this is a perfect example of what I mentioned before. I see someone else's awesome Lantern collection and I want it. I immediately started going got it, got it, need it, got it, need it. I am hopeless.
Points if you get the movie reference |

I've ordered a bunch of Ghost Rider comics lately (plus a few random odds and ends) and over the past week or two they've been steadily dropping in my mailbox. Rather than bombard the thread with a pic or two until all of them arrive I was waiting to post a single picture with everything in it. However this one came this morning and hell's horses the cover is just way too damn awesome.
I want a poster of this on my wall NOW! |

He's easily my favorite Marvel character. I'm trying to get every issue of the Dan Ketch era and so far so good. I haven't really paid more than about $4 an issue. Would've been so much easier if they'd just reprint all these in trades but as far as I know they haven't.
And you're not wrong. There's so many GR covers that are just so awesome. Every issue with Vengeance on it is the beezneez. Hearts of Darkness is one of the ones I still need to track down. My top three favs in Marvel all in one book? Hell yes I need it. |

All-New Ghost Rider has been a fun read. It's taking the ghost rider concept and expanding it to more folklore. Besides, if they called it "The Wraith" they might get sued by Charlie Sheen and whoever else was in that movie. It's not like it's Zarathos still anyway. Johnny Blaze is still firmly the 'actual' Ghost Rider spirit of vengence. Plus okay yeah, I really like the All-New's design. It's such an interesting mish mash of Ghost Rider 2099 and Blaze, but streamlined. Pretty sure the vehicle can become whatever he wants it to be too. It's the fact the kid was a street racer is what keeps the car looking like it does most of the time. Not sure if this new kid even knows how to ride a motorcycle. You might try to see if you can go to Office Depot and have them scan/copy and blow it up to 11x17. (I know they can print clean pics at that size) Comic covers scale up to that size pretty well and even. Plus you can go buy 11x17 frames from Michaels/Hobby Lobby pretty cheep.
Also I have been a Ketch GR fan from the beginning. I have the entire run 1-94 (that 9 year gap between issue 93 (1998) and 94 (2007) was a bitch to wait out), and almost every GR appearance in between in any book. Even the Charleston Chew mail-away (w/ Sam Kieth cover) and when he showed up in Kid 'n' Play issue 9. :-) |
