The end credits for AOU already leaked. If you can't wait to see it in the theaters then Google it...

So Vort put up on the facebook that he's just got to orders from 2 months ago, but he should be able to get through 21st Feb week in a couple of days. So it'll be a good long while if anyone's ordered anything from him in the last 2 months.

I stopped by Fred Meyers yesterday (local Kroger grocery store) and saw war machine and Loki in 5 POA form. The Loki was next to the all star avengers figure (the one with the removable mustard helmet and scepter) and they looked exactly the same except for the packaging. I hope they throw us a bone and release a "super articulated" vision and ultron kind of like the ASM spiderman figure.
Also saw one of those like 3rd grade reading level Avengers 2 books... decided to just look at the first page and boom! Instant spoiler. I will have to quarantine myself from all media. Even internet headlines have giant pictures that spoil things these days. |

What Walmart's carry the Infinite line? All the Walmart's in the SJ area only carry Legends, Hero Mashers, Spider Man and the AOU line

Part of me wishes they'd do some "Hulked Out" (since I doubt there would ever be Marvel Zombies at mass retail) in the variants of at least the Main Heroes (Avengers, X Men, Spider Man) similar to the Spider Hulk……hell, I miss the "theme" of the packaging, from SHIELD to HAMMER. They could start having the sublimes for the Waves (Hulked Out could be a Wave or 2)
Yeah, I know that the Hulked Out Storyline is done already, but I was kinda thinking of the Gamma World 2 parter from the EMH series a few years ago |

They dry fantastic, clean and smooth. Clean up for the brushes is a breeze too. |

I find it MORE important to buy artist quality brushes! The paint is all the same (not really but sort of) If you use cheap ior hobby brushes than the results are lessend no matter what paint you use. It is just my opion though. I only use SABLE HAIR artist quality brushes. Squirrel hair brushes are nice too. I personally would NEVER EVER EVER use synthetic brushes with acrylics. Those are meant for oils and latex paints. I am an artist though and have been drilled about brushes from Masters and art school since I was a teenager..... So, there is my 2 cents worth.

Hey ukmu Vue in Halifax by any chance?? As much as id like to, i'm taking my daughter so don't think we could manage the 12.01 showing with school the day after, having to wait until i finish work on Thursday also i wish they would show the standard version on that No1 screen but its only in 3D and i'm not a massive fan of it
All the biggest and best screens will be in 3D because they all make more money. "way of the road, Bubbles...the way of the road."

Going to Odeon in Hudds.... for the Midnight madness screening. Hudds again on Thursday at lunchtime (there is a KFC near the stadium/theater area and the lad wants that instread of school diner) and then to VUE in Halifax Saturday. The VUE is much nicer and brand new....just hate having to pay £3.50 to park in the big garage thing.

three dee mate....three dee! They spent enough money on special shots to feed all the children in Africa for a year. It is the least we can do, watch the final shots in 3D...it is for the kids!
Yeah 3 times...once with a buddy, once with me and my boy and then we said a long time ago we would go with with his mate and his dad when it comes out. 1.The night one will be all nerds 2.The day one on Thursday will be mostly empty with single seaters watching while skipping work and school, AND a life long memory with my 9 year old son! 3.and Saturday will be PACKED with lots of kids, so plenty of ohhs and ahs from the audience and laughter. Three totally differnt cinematic experiences. Three totally different reasons to see it. Anythiong to help a Marvel Studios film knock Titanic off the top spot for money made i will gladly help out!!! But if you see it once then 110% see it in 3D Going to TRU tonight (because the wife needs to go to Ikea and they are beside each other) to see if we can score a movie Scarlet Witch...want those effects bad! Sorry to just talk about the film so much, but if there were more (read better) toys available in our scale for the film i would be talking about those! That said, i still want the 3 piece Stark Tower playset from the 2.5" line.....just want to wait for to go half price!

That Avengers Tower is tempting me as well. I've seen a review where you can fudge in 3.75" figures just enough that it's passable. And I want the Quinjet just because it looks cool.

And anyone else a little miffed at the 2.5'' figures? I don't mean the loss of the 4 inch, I mean the actual figures. I keep looking at the human alliance TF figures that were that scale and wondering how those have so much more articulation than the avengers ones. They do seem a little big for some areas on the playsets, but when you turn the tower around where it looks like the full avengers tower outside, it could blend seamlessly into a city backdrop. Kinda makes me think about getting it now too. Maybe if we're lucky Hasbro will upscale it for Avengers 3 or Cap 3. Or if a third party is feeling whimsical, they'll make some add on pieces that boost the height a little and upscale the parts that attach. It looks like there's only two really bad spots for 4 inch figures. The area on cap's set where his bike sits by the monitors, and the ironman armor alcove in Ironman's set. I am curious now though how the 2.5'' figures look on the helicarrier released with the previous movie. |
