...In brightest day, in blackest night,
No evil shall escape my sight. Let those who worship evil's might, Beware my power, Green Lantern's light!... ...and I shall shed my light over dark evil. For the dark things cannot stand the light, The light of the Green Lantern!... "With blood and rage of crimson red, Ripped from a corpse so freshly dead, Together with our hellish hate, We'll burn you all--that is your fate!" "In days of peace, in nights of war, Obey the laws forever more. Misconduct must be answered for, Swear us the chosen--the Alpha Corps!" "In fearful day, in raging night, With strong hearts full, our souls ignite. When all seems lost in the War of Light, Look to the stars, for hope burns bright!" "Tor lorek san, bor nakka mur, Natromo faan tornek wot ur. Ter Lantern ker lo Abin Sur, Taan lek lek nok--Formorrow Sur! "The Blackest Night falls from the skies, The darkness grows as all light dies. We crave your hearts and your demise, By my black hand, the dead shall rise!" |

No we don't. If we give it a chance and pay to see these movies, DC will just continue to make joyless de-saturated trash.

Quite honestly, I was excited from the moment I heard Leto was cast as Joker. If anyone could give as amazing a performance as Ledger did it's Leto. Sure they will be two wildly different takes on the character but that does not mean Leto's performance cannot be just as good in its own right. I have always enjoyed his performances.

Yes, it could very well be the case. Also, it shows you he wants it bad because who knows how long it took for his hair to grow that long and he just cut off most of it for this role.

Nice showcase, Raf.

Leto might do well in the role, or he might bomb. We won't know until the film comes out. I remember several online boards flooded with comments on how bad Ledger would suck as the Clown Prince of Crime when his casting was announced. In my opinion, he proved them all wrong. All I'm saying is that actors can surprise you.

I believe he was referring to what is arguably the best live-action cinematic portrayal of Joker to-date? Leto might do well in the role, or he might bomb. We won't know until the film comes out. Any word on whether or not the DC Icon figures will incorporate figures for the new movies, or will the Movie Master line continue?

I saw a blurb from an interview with the 4H somewhere where they mention working with Mattel on BvS stuff, that's got to mean 6 inch stuff!

I think that I saw the same thing. I wasn't sure whether or not they meant 6 inch or all that other stuff that warmed the pegs for a while...lol.

I figured. I thought they might go the Marvel Legends route and tie the movie figures into the Icons line, but I'm cool with the Movie Masters. Those Icon figures look so good though. It'd be a shame not to.

Would be cool, but I greatly doubt DCC will have access to the new movie licensing. A big part of Mattel's continued contract with DC was movie licensing.

I wouldn't mind having a 6.75"/7" MoS/BvS Superman in there... although I'd like a 7" NECA Reeve Superman more. |

Which is a shame, because I've got a great 7" live-action shelf going with DCC's Arrow and Flash lines, NECA's Keaton and Jonah Hex, and the Watchmen movie Comedian and Rorschach.
