Yeah that's always the best. And it was this show. Damn it was soooo good. I remember passing time by walking around in Target on my b-day last year and I randomly found the blu-ray. I had the biggest grin on my face.
I'm constantly flip-flopping between this and Wolverine and the X-Men over which was the best. Last edited by snake5289; 04-26-2015 at 09:46 AM.. |

I ranted about this on another thread, but we REALLY need to stop blaming Disney for ruining everything good we love. Spectacular's demise was a goof ENTIRELY on Sony's part, who has done a piss poor job with the Spidey license over the past few years and has a track record to prove it...
But yeah it was definitely a convoluted mess on the rights end. I don't know if I'd call it a goof on Sony's part either. As you explained, the ratings weren't there. Pretty sure though if Disney wanted to keep it on Disney XD for a next season, they would have found a way to work it out. So yeah, ratings do sound like the main reason it was cancelled all around. That falls more on the audience. You can't really expect any studio to continue making a show when it doesn't have decent ratings. Last edited by Snowflakian; 04-26-2015 at 01:55 PM.. |

I watched Spectacular's first season every Saturday morning but when the second season made the jump to Disney XD at the time I didn't have the channel and couldn't. Made me so mad.

The Target in the Forum at Agora parkway had Anti-Venom and co. back in March and the walmart on 3009 in Schertz also has/had Hobgoblin and Allfather waves.

Man they put out so many of those SW figure packs I had forgotten that one. I stick to SW Black 6in now with the occasional random 3.75in figure. When they ended the Vintage line in the retro packages I checked out.

Last couple recent Lantern purchases came in today along with a Marvel Legends lot I picked up. I had not planned on getting any of the Thanos wave but I could not argue with the price for the lot and it gave me a few more for my fodder bin as well.
I also finally got my Salakk; and on the cheap no less! |

These are some incredibly expensive pick ups of late, and at the risk of sounding rude (which I hope I'm not...) I have to ask... Just what do you do for a living exactly? I definitely need a career change, and whatever it is you do my friend just might be the ticket... |

Man, that's a hell of a deal. I love the pre-setup displays of the boxes. Makes me wish I didn't open mine. haha

Lol, thank you. I'll PM you what I do but it's not what I do for a living, it's all in how you manage your money my friend. Like I posted earlier, I just paid off my mortgage and I'm debt free! I leaned to save at an early age and I never looked back. I own my cars, my toys and now my house too. It feels great!

New to the forums but thought I would make my first post.
Scored these at a garage sale over the weekend for very little. Have pretty large collection, so I will start posting some pics on the forums if anyone is interested. Last edited by Dreadnox; 04-28-2015 at 07:01 AM.. |

Welcome to Toyark. We always like to see collections. There is even a collections area if you want to post up a bunch of pictures of your stuff.
