Good news for my fellow UK chums - the third assortment of the Combiner Wars Deluxes, the Protectobots, have begun appearing at UK retail. First Aid, Streetwise, Rook, and Blades were found by TFW members awesomeist guy and Destronus at a Toyland store in the Brunswick Shopping Centre in Scarborough.
It does unfortunately look like the second wave - containing the rest of the Stunticons and Air Raid - have been passed over for a UK release, though reports go they may yet appear as Toys R Us exclusives. |

We caught a brief glimpse of the retailer incentive cover of More than Meets the Eye #41 in the full preview over the weekend, along with the other two covers - but now, with thanks to IDW, we are able to bring you the full picture. The cover might be considered a spoiler (or it might just be a cool bit of art of these two characters), so check it out after the break!

Thanks to TFW member Daimchoc, we got news that Cybertron Philippines has again shared additional images of the Platinum Edition Trypticon G1 Reissue, this time showing the back of the box. Through these new images, we are able to confirm that the reissue figure will indeed retain its electronic walking feature. On top of that we have a glimpse of the bio written about the G1 character. Check out the images and join in the conversation on this awesome reissue after the jump.

TFW2005 boards member LazyAza has brought us some new renders of MMC's Kultur figure - also known as Tarn, the leader of the Decepticon Justice Division from IDW's More than Meets the Eye comics series.
Renders of an earlier version of this figure had previously been seen and discussed at great length, however it appears MMC has taken the fan feecback into consideration and revised him to be more accurate to his comic appearance. Thanks to TFW2005 boards member Cheem The Rup, we have some great comparison pics - both with the first version of the render and his comic model - waiting for you to check out after the jump. Sound off on what you think of this after the break! |

Well look what we have here everyone! Yet another entry into the Astrotrain Wars! Spotted by DaimChoc on Machine Boy's WeiboThis time we have a look at Machine Boy's take on the Decepticon transport and uber train. Thus far this guy seems to take a lot of aesthetic cues from the G1 toy as opposed to the animation model but still looks five different types of fantastic, and better yet, preorders have already opened up on this bad boy. Preorder yours, take a look at the pics, and discuss, after the jump!

When the two Transformers: Combiner Wars posters made their online debut, a lot of people were asking "Where can we get a physical copy of these?". 2005 Boards Member Soundbarricade may have the answer for you.
Earlier this month, an image was leaked with a possible hint of a Superion Giftset release. On the boxart is the word "Included" followed by an image of the posters. Of course the giftset is not confirmed at the moment but hopefully we'll get more news soon. |

Toys "R" Us on Twitter has just revealed the winning special power of the upcoming, highly-anticipated female Fan-Built Combiner, Victorion!
"Thanks to YOU we can announce next year's Transformers fan-built Combiner will have the power of GRAVITY CONTROL!" That's right, Victorion will have the power Gravity Control at her disposal to wield against her nemesis, Galvatronus. But aside from being an Autobot from the Sea of Rust, that's pretty much all we know about Victorion at the moment - but stay tuned, as more info should be revealed as we get closer and closer to convention season! |

Over at TF-Prototype they have images showing a fully repainted Generations Arcee. The figure, which features a mostly black deco, is marked there as a Botcon item. The figure has a very similar color scheme to a repainted Arcee seen on the IDW Transformers: Combiner Hunters comic cover. Though there has been no confirmation of this through any channels. It's still a fascinating looking figure and worth checking out.
You can see the images after the jump. Enjoy! |

When the Q-Transformers Blu-Ray was released, some stores in Japan such as Amazon, HMV and Tower Records, offered a few exclusives. These were unpainted, non-articulated versions of Q-Transformers Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and Lockdown. We had a quick look at those minifigures last week. Now, thanks to Tagoal, we can see a much more detailed gallery of those figures.
I've mirrored a few of the photos. They can be seen by reading on. |

Third party group Headrobots have ended a seemingly unending quiet period by way of having a new product go up for preorder! They are making an add-on set for the ToyWorld Infinitor - aka unlicensed Fortress Maximus - to give him his Master Sword from the Headmasters series, along with a version of the twin-barreled gun the original wielded. It's due in the third quarter 2015.

Earlier this month, we got our first look at an upcoming repaint of Generations Skids. The repaint was similar in style and color to a classic Diaclone repaint of the mold that became Generation 1 Skids. Now, thanks to the New Transformers Archive, we have even more new pics.
In the new images, you can see that the vehicle mode paint apps are different than the previous photos. There are some other paint changes and additions as well. The figure is sporting a wildly different paint scheme on the head sculpt as well as some Decepticon symbols. You can check out the new images after the jump. |

Thanks to forum member daimchoc, we have more photos of the black repaint of Arcee, which we just shared yesterday. But a surprise comes along in the form of a Generations Chromia repaint. Seeing the two side-by-side, it is clear that they are inspired by the IDW Combiner Hunters comic cover. Still no word on how these will be released.
After the jump, you can see both figure as well as the comic cover that is inspiring these recolors. |

Last week we reported pretty big news announcing the writers that would be heading the spinoff movie projects for the Transformers cinematic universe. Today Deadline is reporting that Ant-Man writers Andrew Barrer & Gabriel Ferrari are the latest writers brought into the brain trust. Deadline goes on to say "one of the ideas in the works has a working title of Transformers One, and that it is more or less an origins story that takes place on Cybertron."
You may recall way back in 2010, we reported news of Hasbro filing a trademark for a certain Transformers One. More details: "I’d also heard that this might be an animated feature, but that Barrer & Ferrari are also going to the writer’s room with the expectation they’ll write a live action Transformers movie, as well. Paramount insiders said that they haven’t gotten that far on the specific projects, but I am told this is the plan. Even though nothing has been 100% confirmed, what do you think of this possibility given the evidence we have before us? Hit the discussion link below to join in on the talk! |

Transformers: Robots In Disguise Clash Of The Transformers Legion Class 2-Packs; which we got to know thanks to a leaked inventory sheet, are now out in retail. This is the first time we are seeing the COTF toys in physical form.
The Robots in Disguise cartoon toyline seems to be undergoing a mid-line shift to "Clash of the Transformers", and the first releases under this banner are some Legion class two-packs, which are branded as Toys R Us exclusives - and they are already out in Australia. Via Ozformers member Fatbot, we know that the first two two-packs are: Bumblebee VS Underbite, and Optimus Prime VS Megatronus Transformers: Robots In Disguise Clash Of The Transformers Subline was first revealed thanks to a leaked inventory sheet mentioned above. It was followed by the Mobile Game update, revealing the COTF figures including the toys out today. Notably this is so far the only known way to get a Megatronus Legion class toy - though we'd not rule out a wider release down the line. COTF Bumblebee packaging art is also revealing a new head-sculpt. Check out the images, after the jump. |
