Yeah, you're right. Here's my main hurdle: I want someone else in my group to purchase one first, so I can inspect the daylights out of it before I decide to fork over nearly CAD$150 (after S&H).

At Star Wars' website we can vote for the first fans' choice 6 inch Star Wars figure. The 7 choices to vote from are: Ben Kenobi, Lando, Darth Revan, Sabine Wren, Gamorrean Guard, Snowtrooper, and General Grievous. As of my voting the poll stands at Revan leading with 41%, Sabine at 17%, Ben at 13%, Grievous at 9%, Lando and the Snowtrooper tied at 7%, and the Gamorrean at last place with 4%. So go vote for who you want made as the next 6" Star Wars figure.
I do really hope that we get all of these eventually though, I mean seriously it's Lando.

Some people want a Gamorrean Guard? Seriously?! I suppose I'd rank GG before Jar-Jar Binks, but not by much.
Different strokes for different folks. |

I do really hope that we get all of these eventually though, I mean seriously it's Lando. I'm almost insulted that 3P0, Jango, Windu, Darth Sidious and Count Dooku were not on that list...unless Hasbro already has a planned release for them. I'm also surprised that it's such a landslide in Revan's favor. I thought Sabine would have slaughtered everyone on this poll by a landslide, and me personally...I would have put Starkiller (Galen Marek) over Revan as an expanded universe inclusion...but hey...what do I know? Thank god the Snowtrooper is in next to last place. Maybe it'll be a wake up call to Hasbro that as cool as the stormtroopers were...fatigue from half of each wave being devoted to variants of them is starting to set in. This actually could be a case of Disney trying to squash the post-ROTJ EU specifically. For all we know she was highly demanded but the powers that be had her removed since she directly clashes with their new narrative. Disney seems to be at least tolerant of KOTOR stuff since they're willing to work with it and haven't shut down TOR though I imagine they could have. KOTOR is set so far in the past that Disney probably doesn't think it'll ever interfere with what they want to do.

I think it would be too hard for them to kill TOR at this point, KOTOR as a time period has a huge amount of fans and it also still gives them money so they have no reason to kill it. 1313 was unfortunately too young in its production which made pulling the plug all that much more easier.

Went to a TRU Express today and they had the Amazon Legacy Collection all shrink wrapped into one package. They had two prices on them, 29.99 and 24.99. The cashier could not ring them up with a bar code so he did the 24.99 price. I bought all three sets they had in stock. 21 figures (including the build a figure) for $79.40. That is $3.78 a figure!!! Good day.

Yes. The Force is strong in this one.
Wish it would rub off on ME! Can't remember the last time I found anything for less than top dollar. |

I went in hoping to find the Amazon exclusive Slave I, but lucked into the Amazon exclusive Legacy Collection. The key to finding things at good prices is reading a lot of forums. I have gotten a lot of hard to find stuff at great prices at retail because of the help other collectors give on sites like this one. When I see a deal, I try to pass it on to help some other poor plastic crack addicted fool just like me.

That could be worth it, if they knock enough off. So far Prime Day has been a little "meh" with few truly noteworthy sales, especially on larger appliance and media items.

Star Wars Action Figure Has Parents Furious - FOX 29 News Philadelphia | WTXF-TV Edit: I just got the Han and Tauntaun for $28 prime plus tax, so it was basically $30 total. Yay, this is good since my area's shelves are still packed full of Jabba the Hutt and Speeder Bikes so it's unlikely my area would be getting Han for a while anyway. Second Edit: The Luke and Wampa Black Series pack will be on sale at 6pm.

This is 18 years too late to complain about. The first toy of Leia as Jabba's slave came out in 1997 and it was that year's best selling toy or something, so how is this just now a problem? Somebody just wanted to be that person who got too upset and got to be in a news story, like I said it's way too damn late to be seriously having issues with this version of the character getting toys.
