Also VP just saw the Pixie in the back. Another great custom there. And yeah I don't know what to do. I'll probably make Moonstar out of my lil custom, because while I actually was happy with the job I did on Magik (except the hair which is not her iconic hair) I'd still rather have a place holder Moonstar that is not that great over a younger version of Magik that is pretty decent for my skills. Good suggestion though.

Called HTS to make sure no holds on my account, the rep said the Strange set was 2 per house hold, no wonder it sold out fast sheesh. Hope my stuff gets shipped soon, seeing other people have their stuff shipped already...

I picked up an extra set that was supposed to go to a cousin, but he backed out so I'm putting it up for trade. Anyone with either a complete Hulkbuster BAF + Valkyrie or an MP-13 Masterpiece Soundwave for trade can have it... =) reputable Arkers only though. Sorry for the shameless plug.

Sort of off topic but trying to figure something out, I just ordered a Spawn Angela figure from the 90',s 7 inches tall, not sure what the articulation is, has anyone ever sized up how the Spawn figures fare with Marvel Legends? It was only $10 so I figured it was worth a shot, but just curious. If no one knows that's okay, it should be here next week and I can wait til then.

I am having my ML Hulkbuster BAF repainted with more detail and a more used look with some weathering effects on him. He is going to look Fantastic.

Not much he can do in astral form, or in general against Dormammu, but I'm tired of waiting for shipment of certain waves to do pics I have in mind and Astral Stephen is a suitable stand in...
...now that I think about it, astral projection may actually be the safer way for Strange to encounter Dormammu. |

SDCC set out for delivery! So excited! Only thing I see fedex has it as a signature required. I am NOT leaving the house until it arrives. Good thing I work remotely from home.
I really want to get pictures up at some point, I don't think I've ever shown my ML collection. |

I did not. But I noticed on the tracking they left from PA (not RI as I thought they would.) I'm in TN, and you're in CO, so that may be the difference. I'm actually pleasantly surprised they're arriving today I had thought when I placed the order it would be next week. No complaints though.

It's kind of funny, It's a DR. Strange set and Dr. Strange is the (comparatively) weak link of the set (to me). Though it's still a nice figure, and not really a weak figure in general, just the other four are new characters and just full of awesomeness.
Having trouble getting Voodoo's head to stay on - he arrived decapitated in the box as it was. Wonder if the neck peg is too small or something? Also Dormmie is just so huge it's hard to balance him. |

I really want to get pictures up at some point, I don't think I've ever shown my ML collection. Also, regarding Dormammu's standing difficulties, his feet presented a problem for me due to the shinguards refusing to let the feet move forward. Just yank the guards up, get the feet balanced, and you should be okay. Edit: I forgot to ask, has anyone had trouble with Hela's head piece? The two separate "spikes" just would not stay in place, so I had to glue them. Hah hah yes I think we all had that idea, even though Strange is a "wasted slot" for the SDCC set it's still worth it for this pose. Last edited by VonPooten; 07-30-2015 at 10:55 AM.. |

Lol I think I may enjoy your gif as much as you liked my pics! Thanks! Quote:
So is that a filter that is making the Tamashi flames look red?? It looks like the Purple (3rd party) flames in some pics?? I have seen purple, yellow, and black flame effects , but not red. I really just need to get all the colors :-) I know the official are labeled Red and Blue , but seemed to be more Orange and Blue to me. P.S. Nice combo on the flames and Greyskull stands.
I used both the red an yellow flames in the Ghost Rider pics that I posted yesterday. However, you may have missed it as it got swept up in the deluge of comments regarding grabbing SDCC sets from Hasbro... Thanks for noticing the MOTUC stuff in there, they work great! I've ordered a couple of other things that I'll be adding as accents in future pics... |

BlueMarvel, as always it's a absolute pleasure to see some new photos from you. You always pose the figures in really nice, dynamic ways, and with bloody brilliant accessories!
