Definitely. This might be a stretch, but I believe that that scene could be the next 'Rolling Stone' or 'I Am Your Father' scene. Even if it doesn't become that iconic of a scene it is without a doubt gonna go down as one of the most iconic scenes in history.

Rolling stone scene yes. I don't think anything can touch that Vader scene. I hope to see it in the movie as well, it would be pretty awesome.

Does anyone have the link to the old Marvel 3 3/4" thread? It used to be really easy to find but now I can't find it anywhere. I just wanna look through some old stuff, ya know. Did it get deleted?

I'm trying to collect all the bulky Marvel figures in this scale. Do you guys think Baymax and his variants from the Big Hero 6 line count?

Those are fun figures for the most part. I used to have them on my international hero shelf but my boys wanted to play with them so they're currently... around.
They stand shorter than MU figures, but the stylizing takes some getting used to. And HoneyLemon is a terrible figure. |

I don't consider Big hero six Marvel at all, it's more like Disney used the name because, well they own it (the marvel property) and won't sue themselves. if they used different names for there characters no one would have even noticed a similarity to the comic version. no sunfire, no silver samurai, baymax is a balloon bot! (not an Abomination clone). it was kid friendly to the nth degree! Personally I felt it was a realization of every fear I had when Disney bought Marvel. next they'll make an animated X men movie where Wolverine (once Disney quits pretending he ever existed) will have rubber claws, Cyclopes shoots rainbow beams, and beast is a giant Persian cat!...oh wait Marvel already went there.

It would probably look pretty damn cool in 3D too, I felt Ant-Man did better than Age of Ultron at having those 3D wow moments.

A couple of quick N' easy kit-bashes, MU Wolvie with a new head and a movie "inspired" Quicksilver. (sorry for the crappy pics...)

I know we give a lot of our want list discussions to those who are most wanted or most needed, like who's obviously missing and who'd we would like to see most, but I'm curious: what are some figures you're wanting made for this line that are likely not hugely requested figures, those characters that you have a lot of like towards even though many may not?
My number one character for this is Selene. I've always felt she's been jobbed throughout her appearances, and has always been underestimated and underused. Different powers, but she should be one of the X-Men's biggest threats, if not the entire MU. And as such, I just feel like I need her in my collection, even though I doubt it will ever happen. Other characters that many may not want but I'd love to see: Exodus, Attuma, Count Nefaria, Graviton, Morgan Le Fay, Attuma and Black Swan, and Deathbird of the villains, and Justice, Marrow (yeah I know, I know), Living Lightening, Moonstar, Sersi and Syrin of the heroes. I doubt any of these have a chance of being made, except maybe Justice, but if they did it would absolutely thrill me to no end. Just curious on other people's "oddball" choices. |

Well, Silver Samurai and Sunfire were only in the very first BH6 story in 1998, and lets face it, that story was not good. The 2008 mini series was much better and seems to be where most of the ideas from the movie came from. Baymax wears armor, Go GO has a suit she wears, ect.. Now I know they changed Fred to wear a monster suit instead of turning into a monster. But I understand what you say about kidding up the movie. But I still like it. |

And I need a Morgan for the Dark Avengers part where they and Doom keep killing her but she turns Ares to stone. Mine would be - Abigail Brand - Anyone from Agents of Shield apart from Coulson - Alex/Phobos, Son of Ares - Noh Varr as Captain Marvel - The Hood - Lady Loki - Victoria Hand - Jessica Jones - Barney Barton/Trickshot

Your oddball choices are pretty legit choices that could possibly be made. Now my choices will probably never happen.
- Blink - Stryfe - Scream - Werewolf by Night - Frankenstein - Slayback - Dracula (Avengers Assemble Version) - Manthing - Morph (Exiles Version) - Annihilus - Domino - Wolfsbane (Black X-Force) - Angela - Son of Satan - Howard the Duck - Vengeance (Green Flame/Hook Hand) - The Orb - 3 pc Robo Spider Slayer (90's Spidey Cartoon)

oh I thought it was great for what it was, but it just didn't feel "marvel" to me, hell every other property has the big marvel logo right in the title. you'd figure with a fairly obscure team Disney would have bent over backwards to acknowledge it's marvel roots to tap into the Avengers hype, maybe even throw in some crossover potential in the sequel. to me it would be like renaming "Jason Borne" Logan and calling the "Borne Identity" Wolverine.
on the oddball figures, my top 15 would be: 1. the Starjammers : any of them (I'd prefer all) 2. squirrel girl (she's been getting a bit of play lately but she's definitely B list) 3. Hulk 2099 (because what else is left to be done with hulk?) 4. Arkon (use the Aries buck) 5. gateway 6. Prowler (cooler as a figure than a character but I always liked him) 7. Destiny (pair her with Mystique) 8. Eternity ( at least 12" cast clear/ with a smoky look and stars and speckles in it with the cape painted black/ cosmic inside) 9. baron blood 10. (feel free to correct my spelling) zzzax? 11. x-cutioner 12. callisto (of the morlocks) 13. Madman 14. Karkas 15. Kofi Whitemane two pack! (powerpack) |

Great choices. As some have pointed out my original list is not really that oddball mostly. THose were just the ones of my short (top 30) list. It does get more obscure the more it goes - I'd love a Crimson Cowl, Stryfe (still shocked we got him in legends), Emplate, Elixir, Swordsman II, Magdalene, Damien Hellstorm, Callisto, Candra, Trevor Fitzroy, Superia, and perhaps most obscure of all - Damask.

Quite a lot of the characters I want are mainstays on want lists as well. Nefaria, Graviton, Grey Gargoyle. Classic Bronze-Age villains. Others I want help complete teams but seem to be characters that may get left behind...
Shaman Snowbird (human form) Ursa Major ROM Justice Triathlon Ronan Quasar Spectrum (Monica Rambeau) ANY members of the Imperial Guard ANY members of the Squadron Supreme/Sinister Ikaris (or any Eternals to be truthful) Firelord Air-Walker Terrax Nova Frankie Raye Moondragon Hellcat Son of Satan ANY of the original/classic Thunderbolts Swordsman Bug Cosmo MORE Classic Guardians of the Galaxy |

Bob Agent of Hydra
Quasar Moondragon Heralds of Galactus Executioner All of the monsters Jessica Jones Squirrel Girl Graviton AA Dracula Eternity, Living Tribunal, and all of those guys. The regular SHIELD oddballs that's on everyone's list. That's pretty much all I could think of off the top of my head.

Nice stuff man I really want the ultimates now since I just picked up my first (Thor) recently. Hopefully they are all found at resonable prices.
My obscure list....Make all the figures toybiz did in 5" from the 90's...I know I'm stuck in the 90's, but I'm ok with that. I mainly want the unique molds from then: Bonebreaker Ch'od Tusk Stong Guy Forearm Shatterstar Sauron Sugar Man There are a ton more, plus I want numerous ones from some of the other lists as well. Another thing that I feel like would be the coolest thing ever would be "old-school" gimmicks! I would love a Jim Lee Cyclops with Light-up eye, the battle damage feature like Sabretooth had from back then (hell the Jurrasic Park dinos had something similar), and I would really love a mageneto with magnets implanted in him. Typing this out makes me realize how hard Hasbro has tried to "re-invent" the wheel. They won't even use THIER OWN old molds they would rather give us less articulated version of characters they have already made!! This will never make sense to me. I have heard the cost savings nonsense and to that arguement I say look at the new Corps figures. 3 fully articulated figures, a boatload of accessories usually including a vehicle, and great multi-color card art for $10!!! We can't even get one Figure with a stand for that price... |
