Guess what folks?
That pesky toy catalog leaked out on the interwebs! Showing what I assume is "day one" items, and obviously doesn't include any store exclusive items (which may well include SA figures in the 3.75 scale) Sandtroopers still it up in their Facebook feed...for now.... https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?...5562741&type=3

Funny enough, while Hasbro has targeted the fan and toy sites for the leak...the general film and geek sites still have it up.

I don't know if I wanna go to the midnight opening for the toys but I am worried that if I don't that then when I go during the day all of the good stuff will be gone, at the same time though what if there is no good stuff released at all and I just waste my time going to a midnight opening for nothing. Arrggghhhh this is irritating, I kinda hope that on September 3rd they reveal what all should be at the stores for this event or at the very least that anyone in a time-zone ahead of me will post what to expect.

It's nice to see the Star Trek ship Micro Machines. I may get the Rebels one with the Ghost, but I'm unsure how it compares against the Hot Wheels finger flyer one.

Star Wars Micro Machines from back in the day are a hell of a lot smaller than the Hot Wheels ships so I'd say expect them to be in that same smaller scale, they wouldn't be "micro" if they were any larger though so it makes sense for the Hot Wheels to be bigger.

Ohhhh, I'd assume less sculpting and paint since they're so much smaller but you never know until they're out.

The figures and vehicles remind me of the 70's Kenner Star Wars toys; minimal articulation and vehicles that are rather small(proportionally). The new X-Wing reminds me of the old X-Wing. And $50? Goodness, inflation really must've gotten that bad.
Guess Hasbro really is pushing collectors towards 6" Black Series and little else.

Was that video a mix up? Will they post one later titled Rancho Obi-Wan that actually previews the toys?

Yes. On September 3rd, they will have roughly 15 hours of video.

I found this back on August 8 at TRU. I noticed the packaging but didn't think much more of it since it wasn't a Force Awakens character.

Found these others at Walmart yesterday.
Thought it was funny this is marked as clearance. Bought the Funko but Air Hogs weren't in system yet so I couldn't but it. *sniff* |

Probably "on clearance" because Box Busters are a new item that won't have a home until the big reset next week.
Saw the Air Hogs speeders at Walmart on a cart, along with a case of Black Titanium ships. Didn't bother to try and buy one, but I do think the mini-box packaging is rather spiffy. |

I just picked these up at walmart, 20 each. I havent built them yet but they are a tad overpriced compared to the bionicles at that price.

Well, it IS a Star Wars item
JTA reader has found wave 2 of the Desert/Arctic assortment, though wasn't able to photograph the entire assortment (did he get something out he wasn't supposed to?) Jedi Temple Archives News: More NEW The Force Awakens Action Figures Revealed! Big thing are two new figures revealed (plus a look at that assortment's BAW)- X-wing Pilot Atsy Sarco Plank He also revealed the rest of the Assortment, which includes: Stormtrooper Snowtrooper Kanan Ezra No details if the Stormtrooper, Kanan or Ezra featured any new elements or were simply repacks. Interesting to see the Stormtrooper in there again, assuming it IS a First Order and not a Rebels/OT version. Should mitigate the troop building shortages. I'm quite interested to see Kanan and Ezra, as it wouldn't surprise me if new tooling elements were in play, especially Ezra who now needs a lightsaber and scar. But i'm glad to see Rebels is still getting some attention, and am curious what will be in the other assortment. Hopefully, Sabine and Hera will get out there by Christmas to give fans an easy why to build the crew without the absurd secondary market gouging. |

I'm not sure about anybody else but this "event" was an unmitigated disaster here. We went to TRU. There were maybe 200 people who showed up. They ran out of posters but not the Legos. They had minimal stock for the event selling through the 6" figures,3.75 vehicles and figures in the first 25-30 people.
They never restocked and had three employees to handle the crowd: a greeter taking a lego, catalog and poster each from separate boxes, on clerk who made sure no one stole anything (in assume, he just stood there watching) and one cashier. Everything I did find I put back because the line was huge. After we left TRU we went to Target and then Walmart. In both cases they were not hosting the event. The closest walmart was 20 miles away (6 closer) and the closest Target was even further (4 closer) I'very been to toy release events for TPM and ROTS. Never have I seen them as badly handled as this one. |

Stopped by a Walmart on the way to work, maybe 20 pegs for 3.75 inch figures. They were wiped out, maybe 10 figures left total.
