Ha! Guys you don't even realize. That thread was really a spam thread and moved at a lightning pace for a couple of years. Posters in the Tanks Marvel Thread were called MUtants Some key players got banned and moved to the MU Collector Club website. The MUtants left MU Collector Club (their/our thread was huge and was completely removed from the site) and formed a secret forum. Eventually they got tired of each other and some went to a closed Facebook page. So very few of the people who drove that thread are still even posting on the Tank. I'm there, USAgent, Nirvana, Joemama and a few others. But don't feel bad during its colossal growth it was a spam thread. Now it appears to actually be a Marvel thread again.

lol. many many years ago in the early days of this thread there was a large group that went in search of a new forum to play a Marvel based RPG (like the Joe game that pops up here once a month or so...) I think it was Doomtron leading the way. we went to multiple forums and were rebuffed at all. nobody wanted a big group of spammeds invading their forums. we thought toyark ws the perfect place for the game but were bamned from there as well. I thought that not supporting a Marvel Universe (toy) based game on a toy forum that was all about toys was unnreasonable so,I emailed the admin asking to have my registration blocked and my account closed.A couple years ago I syopped in at toyark when the MU thread here was crashing and attempted to register... guess what? my email is still on the 'blocked' database. So no Toyark for me. lolz. I do lurk in some of the forums once in a while and was watching when there was a massive meltdown some time back.... and then the stuff with MUCollectorclub was a bummer- tons of good folks there.
Still, I like Hisstank- it's the first forum I ever joined and actually became an active member. the thread may not move like it did before but it's still good MU chat and the ML and DC threads aren't terrible either... ...and the lack of 1000 spam posts a week is probably a good thing.

I was but honestly I am what you call a 'casual', didn't really participated because I felt I had less rights. I joined HissTank before I joined here. I collected the old bucks, heck even bought lots when they were cheap. I actually saw a solid Vision at Disney Stores and said to myself I can get that cheaper online. But never really got him cause there were still no 'definitive' Avengers for me back then.
And let's just say the threads took a different turn back then as well. Should I even mention the infighting among members to members and/or admin? |

* I should note, I don't use ebay. I used to 10-15 years ago but I realized I'd rather know for sure the price I'm paying and if I am actually getting it or not. Last edited by Captain Nash; 09-03-2015 at 08:45 AM.. |

To heck with that. If I see an Emma not on preorder I'm gonna get it as long as the price isn't jaw dropping. Right now I'm just waiting on my preorder to arrive to BBTS and ship.

Yesterday it was up for pre-order again @ BBTS...it's one of those items you just have to keep on looking for daily.

Quite a story. Why don't you guys just post here? We'd love all the new members! Do the MUtants have anything to do with the MUtant Lounge? It's this thread:

Professor X was paralysed, but has telepathy, Daredevil is blind, but has sonar, Echo is deaf, but can mimic movements. It really depends on the disability, and the power they have. Obviously you couldn't have muscle problems, but then be kicking ninjas to death. These are super humans, conditions resulting in disabilities wouldn't affect most of them because they're super.

Why would they let you search for an item, then give you way too many filters to look at before you can actually see the item you are searching for? It looks like MI is still $9.99 so that is awesome, but why do half of them have add to cart buttons and the others don't unless you click on them? |

No worries, I'm sure the other online stores will get this and her soon for people to get.
Haha I know right, was reading on the sister sight they accidentally messed up and had the SDCC Devs up for only a penny, and they actually let a few buyers go with that price, man I would have loved to buy it for that much haha, they have corrected it though. Well we haven't seen the new MI wave up there yet, but when they do post that it's still at 9.99.

They did have quite a few SDCC sets left from those. Everyone let them know you hate the new site... Contact Us for HasbroToyShop |

I know a lot of people would respond "well it's mainly meant for guys," but that's still BS. We need more representation of heroes with two X chromosomes. Scarlet Witch is easily one of my favorite Avengers and she only got one crappy 5POA toy for the movie, she was a chunk of the reason I enjoyed AoU. One of the main reasons I look forward to Civil War is seeing more of her, I really hope they expand her character and how she feels about having nearly aided Ultron in his genocide. I hope she and Vision are at least friends but I can absolutely see them ditching their romance because that's creepy.
