While I don't care much for V-crotches, I happily snagged an Evil Dead 2 hero Ash last August when gohastings had one in stock for retail price. Despite the V-crotch and the difficulty to make him hold the shotgun (I gave up on it), hero Ash is absolutely one of my favorite toys from NECA or otherwise. It just looks amazing and the facial expression is perfect. I can't wait for Ash vs The Evil Dead! Both the show and the toys should kick ass.

Do you have the regular one or the Disney exclusive Paul Rudd version? I got the normal one back in August and the way he was packaged bent his antennae, I still really like it but I'm curious if this is a recurring thing.

Paul's head on the little guy!
I think the main part of the bubble where the body fits is the same for both versions and that's why it bends the helmet's antennae, but like I said I like it a lot so bent antennae don't matter much anyway.

That sucks that it bent but they do still look cool. Mine almost needs a pose stand its so bad, but again it looks cool. I just wish they had ankle rotation that clicked into place. The figures are so heavy a regular ball wouldn't work.

There's a few pieces from my childhood which somehow survived! But most are what I've collected over the past few years, primarily from ebay buys. However, the deeper into collecting I have gotten, the more I have come across fellow collectors from around the world who are willing to trade and sell, particularly the rarer pieces. I'm a big collector in the UK but I know others in the US and Australia and Asia.
Glad you like! |
