That is a product of an employee that simply doesn't give a **** about they're job. Plain and simple.
I don't know if it's laughably sad or just flat out infuriating. Probably both. |

maybe it's policy to not question the customer?.. either way, it should NEVER have found its way onto the shelf and it should never have stayed there. i blame the re-shop people and department managers as well.

I have to admit that those Heat Vision figures look kind of cool.

*sigh* If only that "Heat Vision" Superman was smaller it'd make a decent New 52 Superboy stand-in. The suit is damn near identical.

BTW any of you that notice those types of "Fill-Ins" so-to-speak I HIGHLY recommend bringing it to the attention of customer service or a cashier at the least because their loss prevention team can investigate the return and most retailers now require an ID to process returns nowadays which can be used to catch the individual responsible. This is an example of return fraud and is a misdemeanor in my state.

The reason I recommend reporting it is to avoid any increase in pricing as it reflects as a loss to the retailer as well as Hasbro

Common sense says to work harder/smarter to generate more income or to create opportunity. Or find another job. Don't cost your organization money because you're "not happy". Capitalism FTW.

I ran into one of the Walmart stores in my area that usually doesn't have anything that I'm looking for and got there just as they were putting these guys out. The were in a big, black cardboard display box with a bunch of the 5 and 12 inch kiddie toys. There's only 6 DKR figures per box and there were 3 Batman figures, 2 Son of Batman figures and 1 Superman. I guess Walmart doesn't have any faith in Superman any more since all those crappy MOS figures gathered dust for so long.
The Batman figure in the center of the 3rd photo is a custom repaint of the old Batman Unlimited figure. |
