The Misty eye issue is annoying, but I'd a pretty easy fix honestly if you have the right sized paintbrush. YouTube reviewer and customizer Glenn Webb also did a tutorial for fixing them if you are willing to take a crack at it.

Didn't have an issue with Kraven, though he was more of an impulse buy, so I didn't hunt a lot for a good one.
It's funny, but out of all the MLs I've looked at closely since I started collecting them heavily (which, admittedly, hasn't been very long), Misty's been the only one with such a severe eye-wonk issue. Even the Spider-Gwen I got blindly from BBTS had perfectly fine eyes on her unmasked head. Was Misty's QC just really shoddy?

@boy blunder
All of Hasbro's Thor figs are grossly out of scale, with the exception of the MCU versions. They (the MCU Thors) are, strangely, perfect...[WTF?] In this age of perpetual requests for updated figs, my suggestion, outside of a new Surfer ( hah ha! it's been a while!), would be a definitive Thor in his 'actual size' proportionate to the other MLs. While they're at it, Hasbro could redo the entire Wrecking Crew since they also screwed them up by making them in-scale with Thor (only). Thor (and the Wrecking Crew) should be on the Hyperion-buck. I'm in total & complete agreement with you on the out of scale humongous Hasbro Thors & WC figs. Thor & Thunderball are both 6-6 & the other 3 Wrecking crew members range from 6-3 to 6-4. None of them should be looking Hulk sized! IMO, a Hasbro classic Thor should be no more than half a head taller than Cap & IM. Also, Ironman's armor is skintight so he should not all of a sudden gain 4-6 inches of hgt just cuz he's in armored form. A Hasbro classic 70s Yellow/Red IM is much needed. Today's artist take way too much artistic license when drawing "large" characters & making em all super Hulk sized. Can't stand when they do that. That's why my favorite era of Marvel is the 60s-70s-80s-90s because the artist of those decades adhered very strictly to the listed marvel universe hgts/wgts of the characters. Great artists such as George Perez & John Byrne always strived to draw every character at their correct hgt when. I look at all my Perez/Byrne Avengers comics & Thor never looked like a giant standing next to his fellow Avengers. He was drawn as the tallest but never looked like he was a foot taller than Cap, IM, Vision, Hawkeye or Wonderman. So for now I have the Toybiz Giantman wave Thor as my primary Thor up on my shelf with his fellow Avengers. But due to the slightly larger Hasbro ML scale, he definitely is in dire need of a re-do. I don't like figures done in the image of any artists. I just want a generic, classic Thor that fits in perfectly with the Hasbro scale. The Hyperion buck was the perfect buck for Thor & the Wrecking crew. Hopefully the Crew can be re-done in some future wave at the proper scale & I want Bulldozer done in his classic look since the other 3 members were done in their classic looks. |

Eh, the 'official' height/weight charts last their credibility when they listed all women (save the likes of She-Hulk and Titania) as, like, 125 lbs and 5'7".
Because that's believable, even for comics. |

It took several years to get the Wrecking Crew out, I doubt we'd see them again. I do like the idea of a Best Of series though, to bring certain characters back to the shelves with improvements that bring them up to today's standards or just straight up rerelease figures that have gotten ridiculous in price.
Emma Frost (with Scarlet Witch lower torso and legs) Archangel Psylocke (X Force colors on Storm body) NOW! Storm Luke Cage X Force Deadpool Wolverine (WL with TRU series alt. head) Pizza Spidey Ms. Marvel Black Panther All strike me as being either good sellers, victims of terrible distribution, the crutches of their multipacks or fetching a hefty price tag on the secondary market. F*** the secondary market, and anyone who makes $180 off of one Storm figure. They really should be undermining it and rereleasing figures we all know are popular. |

That would be nice since Bulldozer is pointless to me without the other 3 and I'm not willing to drop more than retail for the other guys.

https://youtu.be/I9s07eSeAQM Oh yeah, Secret Wars got really awesome at issue 4 and I blew past 5-8. I'm stopping at my comic shop tomorrow to pick up the final issue and I think I might get a few of the Battleworld paperbacks. I really want to read the 2099 and Infinity War ones.

I also like that Glenn does reviews for WWE figures, and as you stated, his flashback toy reviews are great. His recent ToyBiz Deadpool review had me laughing my head off... I also hate where he shops. His stores are ridiculously well stocked compared to what I have to work with here in southern Arizona... =P |

You know it's bad when reviewers with little info on the comics themselves are beginning to take shots at the scale of Thor and the Wrecking Crew. The height of the MCU Thor is optimal, a fact I didn't learn until I bought that 4pk. @boy blunder I'm not sure what you are looking at, but a cursory glance at the "Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe - Deluxe Edition" says differently: Storm - 5'11" and 127lbs (she was always described as "model-like") Thena - 5'10' 160lbs, etc...They were pretty meticulous in creating that particular compendium. Now, I know you aren't poo-pooing our requests for 're-makes,' are you? ...that said, it's unlikely that we see redrafts anytime soon given that Absorbing Man was made in the same scale as the Wrecking Crew. However, with Creel, I can live with the fopa since his size was variable depending on what he touched and whether he absorbed its mass. Last edited by TheBlueMarvel; 02-06-2016 at 04:53 AM.. |

Thanks for the offer, but I'm going to pass. Basically I want to find him in stores so I can do an exchange of sorts. Unfortunately, my painting skills are horse ****. I most certainly can not paint something as small and detailed as an eye. Oh yeah, Secret Wars got really awesome at issue 4 and I blew past 5-8. Not sure you should waste your money on that 2099 secret wars mini series... i have it and read it. Honestly it didn't do too much for me. |

I really enjoyed spider verse as well. Maybe because im a spider-man and the spider family fan boy idk.... as for secret wars 2099, only thing interesting is you briefly saw quite a few versions of characters who did not have already 2099 counterpart. Also you end up seeing hulk 2099 again which has not been a character used since back in the 90s...

But thus far, that seems to be the angle Hasbro wants to take with Asgardian/Asgardian-powered individuals - making them larger-than-life to match their godlike/demigodlike status. If be totally okay with seeing other characters, like Hercules and Juggernaut in that scale. If people want a redo of those characters, that's fine. Personally, I don't see the need. The whole reason I even bought that Thor was because he was a massive hunk of toy. |

Guardians of Knowwhere, Star lord and Kitty, E is for Extinction, A Force, Inferno, Moodok Assassin and Deadpool's Secret Secret Wars were all very, quick, somewhat self contained reads. They're a nice change of pace from usual all too connected universe with the giant shadow that SHIELD has cast on the books in the past few years.

I'm 5'11", and I'm fairly certain Storm would be a bit taller than me, and would more than likely weigh more than 130 just from existing alone.

I was messing with you considering that it was just a few weeks ago that you were advocating for them (X-wave?), while others were saying they didn't see the need...if that wasn't you, forgive my 'playful' ribbing. If it was you, I'm fun'in ya', man! Either way, whichever Thor you like is fine... Last edited by TheBlueMarvel; 02-06-2016 at 11:21 AM.. |

Both Iman and Grace Jones are very tall for models and they stand at 5'9". Any taller and we're talking about WNBA status...Storm has never been portrayed as being that tall. I won't hazard to guess what their (Iman & Grace) weights are, but I'm sure it was far less than 130lbs. I only bring up 'models' because in my experience with X-books they often alluded to Storm having the look and grace of a model (FYI that's not my ideal for her, but what was suggested in stories). However that wasn't my point, my point was that the 'official' heights of female heroes aren't as uniform as you implied...more quick stats:Sabra 5'11" - 240, Sersi 5'9" - 140lbs, Sif: 6'2 - 425lbs...
And yeah, I know you are fine with redos. If it was you, I'm fun'in ya', man! Either way, whichever Thor you like is fine... I admit I was giving a very generalized statement, but there's a number of times where the official height/weight have just been very "off" to me, especially with the female characters. For instance, Gert Yorkes is supposed to be 5'1" and 125 lbs, and that's supposed to be overweight - yet I've had a number of female friends in the same height/weight zone, and that's only "overweight" if you go by the BMI, which has been in serious need of revision. Or Marrow, who's only 130 lbs at 5'8"... despite having another third-to-half of a skeleton on her. I know comics are fiction and a lot of measurements are idealized, but there's a few times where they could use a bit more research. |

I see your point, and honestly, there are quite a few head-scratchers as I begin to look a bit more closely at the old "Marvel Universe." As for the BMI, it's quite antiquated and nearly useless. A new measurement is needed for contemporary bodies...I had to look-up Gert Yorkes LOL I didn't know who the hell she was...never read Runaways *now let me find a corner to hide in while fans lob insults for not reading one of the more popular and recent teen-team books* Edit: just some proof that I love my Wrecking Crew figs in spite of their flaws... Yeah, I just relayed Storm's height/weight to my wife (who has a lot of understanding of height/weight and how it relates to health and physique/physiology) and her exact words were, "Yeah, that's pretty close to outright anorexic." |
