January haul. I have high expectations for the Union Creative Snake, I wonder if they will make more video game based figures

I haven't really been buying any figures lately but I've been after Ripley for a while so when I saw her a new local collectables store I decided to grab her. I also got Black Series Kylo Ren. With Star Wars my collecting focus is on the Original Trilogy but I decided it wouldn't hurt to have a single token FA figure.

Birthday haul and I'm very happy by the number of wishlist items I got. Really pumped to get the Tamashii Nations Ronin Boba Fett and the Transformers Revenge of the Fallen Bludgeon with Headrobots mod. First thing I opened was the McFarlane Rick Grimes and I've been collecting Gundam Assault Kingdom figs for the past year.

It's a bit of a crummy picture but I finally found the new legends-size Shockwave. Overall I really like having this adorable little version but his left shoulder disk was locked up and it took me a very frustrating twenty minutes with lots of heat applied to get the damn thing moving. I though it was about to just tear and break at least twice.

What is the scale of Venom Snake, and how do you like it? I have the Snake from Figma, and I think that would make a good companion piece to it. Pardon the pun here...but that one looks solid.

He's a bit over 6 inch, the figma snake is an little under 6, but depending on the poses they look almost the same height, can barely notice

More arrivals! I met a toy collector @ last weekends' local Comic Con. He said he wanted to get rid of old stuff for cheap...he wasn't kidding! 3 bucks a piece! I already have all the complete waves and series of these MOC, but, my loose collection is very exited right now...Lol!

Extremely Nice Raf! I have to envy you here. Justice was one of my favorite lines to collect even with the limited articulation the figures were just beautifully sculpted. Ever get to a point when your willing to part with some of those let me know, I'm definitely willing to buy. I've always been missing a few and broke my Superman broke his arm last year when moving my display.

Now finding that Movie Masters version...that's an entirely different beast altogether...
#Where's Diana (It worked for Rey and Widow...come on Mattel! Let's start a movement...not because of some sexism agenda or whatever, but because we need less Batmen warming the pegs! More of Superman as well!) Last edited by Trivial Psychic; 02-08-2016 at 12:05 AM.. |

i don't think i'm ever going to find the flametrooper wave.. hell, i still have yet to actually see phasma in stores. hunting for black series figures is really starting to get annoying.

Well the Flame Trooper is 2 per case. ( Han is getting repacked in the next case along with the Snow Trooper from Hux wave.) But sooner or later they all seem to show up on Hasbrotoyshop.

Got mine at Wal-Mart. They had all of their crates of boxes out to stock for the night and as is usual I decided to look through them myself and when I saw one labeled as "Transformers Legends 2016 W1" or something very similar I pulled the box out and opened it. Once I got his shoulder loose it was a wonderful little toy of everybody's favorite purple-cyclops-scientist-robot-with-a-gun-hand. Shockwave has always been a huge personal favorite of mine (he straight up defeats every character in one shot at the end of the first story) but even without that bias it's a good representation of his G1 look which can actually be used by some of my other Transformers as a big cannon.
