Are you saying characters like Cop-Tur, Crasher, and Turbo would not be part of this new line? Because all three originated as a Machine Robo figures too and they are clearly basing this line on the Machine Robo toy line. I'm really hoping they make Cop-Tur since he was one of my favorite Go-Bots as a kid. Last edited by ShabbyBlue; 04-16-2016 at 03:20 PM.. |

I might have to bite on Leader 1 and Cykill at least. If Loco's robot mode looks good he will be a must buy as well. I may also want Turbo... Damn I like Gobots I wish these were stateside at 25$ a pop. I'd grab them ALL.

This is so interesting, I would normally pass on the jet guy because I don't like the way he looks but the price is what will make me get him, because the price is reasonable to complete the sets. 45 Bucks ain't that bad

i kinda wish they were a bit bigger for that price, but then again it would probably mean a higher price too

These are glorious. The articulation is pretty impressive.
I'm hoping one of the people who does add-on kits will do US-accurate faces, but these are pretty tempting regardless. |

4.5 inches, ugh. I was really hoping at that price that they'd be closer to 6 to scale better against deluxe Transformers, that size makes them smaller than any deluxe and only slightly larger then some Legends/Commanders/etc. size class.

If you look at the prototype pics you can clearly see Leader 1 has a nose and smile. In other words either his faceplate goes on/off or more likely he or THEY possibly have alternate heads. I agree with you I'm more in it for the Gobot side of things but I still like whet I see here if for some reason they couldn't get the license for that face sculpt Ive been following these since last winter and I have all them preordrred at bbts & I'm STOKED to finally get modern gobots! |

I willing to bet that HLJ or AmiAmi will have them cheaper. HLJ and AmiAmi are ALWAYS significantly cheaper with Asian releases than our domestic stores. I've bought every Japanese import I own from HLJ (and a few from AmiAmi) over the last 12 years. Their customer service is impecable. They even replaced a broken leg from the original MP Hot Rodimus with no charge to me. I typically receive my orders shipped through EMS in 3 days. FROM JAPAN. It's usually faster and cheaper shipping than BBTS.
The Japanese retailers always seem to take a bit longer to put up pre-orders. Patience and lack of freak out is the key. I understand you wanting something that could scale with your MP's. But, these are executed in a completely appropriate scale considering what the company is trying to accomplish. The original Machine Robo/Gobot figures were pretty tiny. |

BBTS sez three of the four are already out soon. Cy-Kill is the one that isn't.

Wow, I really love these guys, but kinda wish they didn't include the stands so they were cheaper. As stand alones they're awesome, but leaving all those other parts in the box does make me feel like I spent more than I should have for them.
Regardless I love them, and eagerly look forward to adding more of them to the ever shrinking room on my Transformers shelves.

From Action Toys' Facebook page:
"We would like to thank everyone for their support on the Machine Robo line so far and we are very pleased to hear that the overall opinion is good. We do want to apologize for the delay on Bike Robo but be assured, it is all for a very good reason and one that I think everyone will agree with. When we received the final sample from the factory we found that the Bike Robo was awesome but just missing a few tiny things. First, the wheels in the bike mode were pegged into the hands and the rear were a single piece and so it really did not roll so well. Sure with pressure, you could force the wheels to roll but this was not really what we considered good enough. So we have modified the wheels to be multiple parts and it will allow the wheels to rotate freely so when you are zooming your Bike Robo on the carpet you will not have any hindrance whatsoever. Since the wheels were being completely redesigned, we thought we would go one step further, we will add some nice rubber tires to the wheels so that when you are zooming your Bike Robo on the glass table, you will have enough friction from the rubber that the wheels will roll smoothly as they are now intended to. We really are sorry for these very last minute delays to this highly anticipated figure but in the end, we figured this was a much better alternative than just releasing the figure with hard to roll plastic wheels. We thank everyone for your patience while we work at getting this finished off. We are hoping to have everything settled up and ready for delivery by the end of June so please keep in touch with your retailer and ensure they send yours when it is in stock!" |

Yup, all four of them will be mine.
I'm wondering where Blue Jet is though, as I expected him to be in the next wave as well.
