NECA had that Prometheus two pack with the Trilobite which sports the MOST phallic accessory ever and that set was Toys R Us exclusive. They just covered the "piece" with the TRU exclusive sticker so I'm sure they could just put this at the bottom like snake said.

I know Giger didn't care for the Aliens warriors' ridged bony heads redesign/re-purpose but I think he would have appreciated this thing's aesthetic.

I wonder how long it will take before some overbearing PC Parent complains about the phallic appendage dangling from that Xeno's mouth, causing it (and possibly NECA's Alien Series) to be removed from TRUs for good? Especially since the tip of it bears a strong resemblance to the "red rockets" found on the anatomy of male dogs...
But yeah, call it what you want, but that thing is a schlong with a bone sticking out of it. Ugh, it's horrific. |

The original intention was to have the transparent dome over top of the heads. But he was so impressed by the structure, and the way they looked under the lights, he left the domes off. He later adapted the canon that these were more matured versions of the Alien Drone (aka the Big Chap) and the protective dome was no longer needed.

Indeed it is of the icky but I got one anyway when they were only $12 and it's pretty cool in display. Also, I play Left 4 Dead 2 still since I got all the downloads which means that it also features the first game's levels but with L4D2's new features included (melee weapons, bile jars, defibs, etc.) however I have it on the X-Box 360 and not Steam so I don't play it online so much anymore. When I got the X-Bone I opted to give it the 360's CAT-5 ethernet cable so I currently don't have internet/online access on my 360. I might get some more cable and heads later to make another line but right now the 360's for offline only. I really liked that NECA did the Boomer and Smoker (I only got the Smoker) but I wish the line had sold better to have done more.

This sets out the terms for the stages an Alien goes through and how those terms came about
https://alienseries.wordpress.com/20...e-distinction/ Growing up, I always saw the suggestion that the drone/warrior created the hive conditions, but I seem to recall this being maybe one line in all of the films ie it's more book canon than film. |

Didn't know about the flame effect, though I see from NECA's Twitter feed that we'll be getting those for the Preds too (part of the accessory pack with the skinned corpse I'd guess).
Also of note recently was a black egg carton, by the look of it. Glow in the dark eggs like the recent loot crate? |

Everything from the eyebrows to the top of her head seems way too big. Looking how they sculpted the headband resting on the head, I don't know anyone with a skull cap that big. Seems that area should have been reduced just a bit.

Awesome news, but I'm waiting until this hits retail. Vasquez has too many parts/potential QC issues to buy sight unseen. The figure looks fantastic, however. Vas and schlong-tongue alien will make great additions to my Alien shelf.

I can't rely on local retailers, so appreciate the heads up.
The NECA store on EBay also has a listing for Cinemachines drop ships. Booyah! |

I'll wait for retail for Vasquez. Not really a fan of the other two. Does Frost even have more than, like, thirty seconds of screen time?

Ha! That's rad. I'm guessing NECA set her up with that sample? I'm always happy to see celebrities being exposed to adult collectible figures, because I've always felt that there's a stigma about these things among them. That's probably the reason why it took so long for NECA to talk Sigourney Weaver into all of this, and I'd also guess it's probably why poor Kane will forever be featured with something obscuring his face.

If someone wanted to make a figure out of me I'd be spread-eagled and willing to do what it took to make it happen.
