Really falling in love with the Kanan figure. It's the little details in the mold that are doing it for me, such as the texture in the fabrics, and some really good articulation despite some things that hold it back (such as the belt and the shoulder armor.) My favorite little detail though...the lightsaber comes apart into two pieces, allowing him to display it on his belt the way it is done on the show, and he can hold each piece in his hands so he can be posed connecting the saber together!
Speaking of lightsabers, I finally got around to painting up a few casts that I had done from Casting Cave, and was rather pleased with how they came out, especially the black and gold one on the bottom. I know I used a lot more gold than most people are accustomed to seeing in a saber hilt, but that's precisely why I did, you don't see that metal or color being used all that much for lightsabers outside of Windu's or Palpatine. The top two didn't have pre-drilled holes in them, and after a few attempts to make some of my own, I decided not to mess with them anymore, as I didn't want to risk destroying the resin they were casted in. They'll probably go to Jango since he successfully killed several Jedi in the battle of Galidraan, although when we eventually get a Black Series Grevious, they're more than likely finding home with him. The bottom saber did have a hole pre-drilled in it however, and has since found a home in the hand of Palpatine. I tried to keep the mostly black and gold theme from his battle with Yoda, and the saber instantly makes an already deceptively good, and very under the radar figure a thousand times better. |

Wow, is Hasbro just sending out cases of the Flame Trooper dude? My TRU currently has 24 of him on their pegs and no one else. WTF?

I think they might have accidentally done this because both my Wal-Mart and Toys R Us had like twelve Flametroopers but absolutely no one else from that wave and I kinda doubt that with that many Flametroopers all the Finn and Han figures were gone but they weren't.

pretty surprised that my local kmart had a titans rey figure among a freshly restocked shelf containing nothing but vader, finn, kylo and the various trooper classes
alot of the stores here have stopped stocking newer waves of the basic line past the one with the rebels characters and general hux which is pegwarming to the point of clearance prices so it was surprising to find a newer figure among much of the same, a little disappointed there was only the one i picked up considering how prominent she was in the finished movie hopefully rey is more of a merchandise focus point with episode 8 |

This happened to my area last year. We got the Bossk wave but then suddenly every store skipped the Emperor, Boushh, IG-88 wave to preserve space for the hugely over-hyped Force Friday release. It didn't bother me that much since I was able to order Leia/Boushh online with ease but this year I'm looking forward to Revan, the AT-AT Pilot, Snowtrooper, and maybe also Sabine so it would be a low-blow for my local stores to skip any waves just because Force Friday is near.

For those of you in the UK that are after wave 2 of the FA Black Series 3.75" figures, a lot of Asda stores have just started to get them over the past few days. Picked up Kylo Ren and the Stormtrooper from my local one the other day. Passed on Leia for now.

So do you think Rogue One will get Hasbro to give us an Episode IV Darth Vader figure?

I think that would be cool. I definitely would want one, their Empire/Jedi Vader is alright but they could certainly improve on the helmet even just by repainting the Emperor's Wrath Vader head as many fans have. The soft goods don't bother me on Vader as much as they do on other figures, I like the way his cape sits behind him.

Anyone know where I can buy a BS 6 inch Luke's blue lightsaber? Without actually buying a Luke figure. As I've only been buying TFA figures.
