The original Kenner Ripley didn't have a Rocket launch(er), it was a huge flame-thrower.

No it was a big cannon rocket launcher thing, the flame thrower was attached to its side. I'm also pretty sure you could swap the flamethrower piece with the other weapon she came with but I'm not 100% about that feature.

No it was a huge flame thrower no missile launcher the thing on the side was supposed to be the fuel tank that the fire goes across.

You are correct, I completely forgot the projectile was actually sculpted to resemble flames. Either Way the smart gun (without rig) is closer to resembling the Kenner gun than anything else they'd have already had sculpted.

I gave mine the vintage flame thrower and she looks super rad! (sorry for the terrible photo)

Probably your best photo shoot ever, Joe, out of a long series of awesome photo shoots. Way impressive!

Thanks man. I just kept going back with new battle pose ideas, which is why it took so long to post this up.

Great pics as ever.
Is it my imagination or do Kenner Ripley's eyes look much more sensible? The look of the movie figure isn't great to my mind. |

Define "more sensible." The only issue I've come across with the movie version's eyes is that the left eye is more often than not drifting to the right, not enough to say she blatantly looks cross-eyed but up close you can tell the eyes aren't quite lined up right.
