It's not the Wolverine I was hoping for, but he looks good to me. I'd be curious to see the BAF all put together. The old Toy Biz Juggernaut is still a really sold figure in my book.

I'd have liked an All-New Laura Wolverine but as I don't have any Logan Wolverine yet this will do nicely too.
This is shaping up to be such a good wave, usually I only really want 2-3 of the figures but the only one I don't particularly care about is Iceman, the rest I really want.

Well, you can just go jump in a lake
But in all seriousness, congrats on owning one of the rarer pieces in recent years. Looking at her again, though, I really want a classic Jubilee (90s/X-Men animated series style).

True That. This is Jubilee and can easily be repainted to match that Classics Look. Which I love as I grew up with that. I am known for getting customs done so it will be soon.

Agh! Of course it's the brown and tan costume. I was really hoping for the blue and yellow...
Who am I kidding, I probably won't be able to resist getting this. Looks awesome so far. This wave better have awesome distribution. |

Solid in so many ways. It would practically be a bludgeon and do some real damage. I guess I'm kind of meh on the BAF because even after all this time the TF Juggy is my favorite figure in the whole line so improving on that will be difficult.
BTW I hope you eye situation gets better. I haven't been on all week so catching up on the last few pages of posts. Hang in there! But yeah, the Toy Biz Juggernaut could damn near kill a person. He's bulky and heavy. Such a great figure to own. |

The blue and yellow was the last one they made, so this color is the most obvious choice.

Not to be a 'poop'er'....buuuut I find it more than a bit funny that Hasbro has sparked a great deal of excitement by revealing yet one more Wolverine. I can't wait for the next Wolverine (there will be even more...), Cap, Iron Man, Spidey, Thor etc...*see sarcasm*
With all of that said, one cannot have too many 80's era Wolvies. Just a playful observation regarding a fig I look forward to getting along with many other fans, so save the flagship-character/popularity/"I missed out the other eight times" arguments. I know them well...I'm simply having some fun with these latest developments...it does look awesome. |

Is there a Modern Version of Quick Silver? Or am I going to have to get one Customized?

Personally, this will now be my favorite ML *EVER.* This is the figure I've been waiting for since I started collecting ML back when TBML series 9 was first hitting. I wanted this so bad I cobbled together a half-assed custom in a decent scale our of Daken and TBML6 Wolvie. Thankfully, that will quickly be broken back down into it's components and sold. To be fair, a lot of people don't actually want that. We want them to make the most sought after things. If that just so happens to be things we also want, then so be it. ;^) |

Yeah but this is a redemption for all of the crappy ones they *did* give us, so in that light, it makes sense.

Unless this new brown-suit Wolverine features a height more accurate to Logan's 5"3' stature, I can't see retiring my Series 6 Wolverine. I love that fig (very old photos alert): Between the sneer, the body hair, the vascular arms, and the height...I just can't see the new fig replacing Toy Biz's stellar work on Series 6. This new one is very cool, but I can already see what's missing and I don't have it in hand...yet. It's also important to note that I see some improvements. Honestly, I will be buying all of the females. I cant care for Havok and Cable. Deadpool and that Wolverine should do fine.

This new version hits every right note for me without hitting any wrong ones, so far as I can see from the pics. IMO btw, the TBML6 version is a decent Jim Lee brown costume version. The new one is more Byrne-esque. Awesome pics btw. |

@Squeeze
I'm also a scale stickler. Did Jim Lee illustrate a brown costume Wolverine? I don't recall, but I was never really a fan of Jim Lee's art. I hear where you are coming from, but I don't get that feeling from either figure...With this new one, we'll have to see, but the Series 6 reminds me of Barry Windsor Smith's interpretation: https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com...448fde7506.jpg |

However, Byrne's art is unmistakable in the new figure, and I love it. |

Oh, ok. Thanks for the pics, I see totally where you are coming from now. I didn't realize he drew that costumed-version of Wolverine. Kudos on your Alan Davis fandom, I'm also a big fan of his work. |

And yeah, for X-Men artists, I was always partial to certain guys. The biggies. Alan Davis, Paul Smith, BWS, Art Adams, Jim Lee, maybe a couple others. Byrne definitely. People talk a lot about liking the same artists now, but I was reading Uncanny in 1984 and up, when most of these guys were hardly that well known. I hate to do that "I liked them before they were 'in' " thing, but... lol. |

Same here. I started reading in '79 and collecting in '80. As far as the X-men are concerned, I was weaned on the artists of the period. Byrne, Paul Smith, JRJR, Silvestri...and even Sienkiewicz (although he quickly moved to New Mutants); in particular, that tripped-out story where Dracula falls in love with Storm...dope ass book! I remember being scared by the fact that the the Lord of Vampires could fend off the entire team! lol Last edited by TheBlueMarvel; 05-27-2016 at 08:00 PM.. |

The reveal of Clan Yashida Logan was just gravy, because it's the only Wolverine costume I've really liked (aside from maybe his WatXM design, but I chalk that up to my love of Chris Bachalo's art).

Might pick up the Rogue and Wolverine, maybe Phoenix, but the rest of worthless to me, especially Juggernaut. They just need to give me the 92 team and design. Oh, and Archangel, I want Archangel, but I want him in the purpole and blue outfit without any stupid wing gimmick.
Now what about the rest of the damn Spidey wave?
